Its a tiny one this time, though. Just 2 slots for now (If I had a little bit of discipline and started earlier I might have made more slots...)

New wave of comms for May are open!
Posted 6 months agoHey guys!As promised, I'm open for comms again after a long time of not advertising them here, and... after thinking about it (and maybe I will regret it later...) I will be making 4 slots available.
I know I said it would be 2 or 3, but I think some of you will be more interested than what I imagine... or not, maybe I'm just over thinking it a bit.
Same business as usual. If you're interested, just contact me, and we'll go from there.
The only thing I might have to say is that I'll be a little more selective about the types of commissions I'll do this time. I'll still be open to any ideas you guys may have, but know there's a possibility of my not vibing with it.
And as always, thank you so much to everyone who has supported me in the past. About commissions.
Posted 6 months agoHey, how are you? Just stopping by to tell you my plans for comms here and in the near future.
Currently, my intention is to be able to make a round of comms per month, with 2 to 4 slots of availability, while also alternating comm rounds with my regular account (So lets say I do open here on May, next time I should open approximately on July). Granted, even though this is what I wish, I can't totally promise I will be like that. Like, there were times when I wanted to make 4 comms in a particular month... and unfortunately I wasn't able to, messing up a bit my schedule.
So! For now, I'll see if I start with just 2 or even 3 slots here starting this next Monday and see where I go from there.
So if you are interested, that's your cue to get prepared for when I officially open it.
Also, I just have one small request if possible before I leave:
Pls... no more than two characters in a piece this time around. I beg you.

Hey! It's been a while.

I'm doing well at the moment, although the news from the last few weeks has left a bitter taste in my mouth, like AI and such, but I won't let that stop me from doing what I do after arriving so far.
... But anyway, I wanted to make this post to say that I'm still here and that in these last few months I wanted to focus more on my main account (not this one) and other projects not necessarily NSFW related. Even though I know that from time to time a commission of mine appears posted under my name here by their respective clients, I wasn't in the mood to post them o my own... (For those who I made a commission for and who may be waiting for me to post them, I'm sorry, but I probably won't be doing that for now.)
I believe you all know what it's like when you're a creative like me, and you do the same topic over and over again it means death and burnout to your creative journey, so you need to see another perspective to reset your senses to start anew.
... And as for now I feel refreshed and wanting to try to focus here again with some works of my own and even reopen opportunities for comms too! (well... I kind of want to reopen commission again here, but the more time of my inactivity passed, the more embarrassed I became to try. In my head it seems kinda jarring for me to ask for work after months of nothing from me).
Emphasis on TRY, because in the end I can't promise anything. Like any artist, we are at the mercy of inspiration to create something, and that "something" may not be for this place.
I know I don't need to justify myself, and that I'm free to do whatever I want with my page here, but even so I felt I had to say something just to show that I'm here still.

Maybe it's time for a different name here for me.
Posted a year agoIt's very rare that I write something without it being a comm ad or something like that, but I wanted to get this out about something I've been thinking about recently...
Maybe my current name here, BirdAfterMidnight, is starting to grow out of me, just a little.
Back them, it was the only thing I come up with because I had no clue of that else to use haha... but it's a bit it differed now and I may have some ideas of what else I can use.
I know that furaffinity doesn't let you change your user name and I'm cool with that. I don't hate what I have now to the point of redoing my whole page. The feeling is more akin to my character here have a proper name while using my corrente one as more like a nickname; you know? That way, it doesn't delete it automatically, so you all can still call me "BirdAfterMidnight" if you so wish.
Things are still up in the air a bit, but sooner or later I will make that move.
