Fortunately it only amounted to me waking up to half my friends list being blocked after the scammers tried the same thing - all my stuff is still there and my login hadn't been changed. Still had to put a statement out tho and DM like twenty people.

Fortunately I don't really play CSGO so it didn't go much further than me, as far as I'm aware.

So Netflix is doing Beast Wars huh

I'm gonna have it open whilst I type this and just ramble first impression notes

- Voices are fucked. Especially Beast Megatron. He sounds like Scorponok.
- BW Megatron just being a massive simp totally fits his character tho
- Blackarachnia and Airazor ain't bad tho tbh
- Most of the personalities seem on point too but there's a few things I don't like
- Tigatron is somewhat too gung-ho for a pacifist. Also he sounds like Dinobot.
- Rattrap is wayyy too unprofessional for an infiltrator
- They actually did things with Airazor tho which is nice.
- I like how they took Nyx's arc from the comic and gave it to Airazor.
- G1 Megatron telling BW Megatron to change his name is glorious
- G1 Megatron being able to read the golden disk and just predict everything is great
- Blackarachnia seems to have Inherited some traits from her Animated counterpart, which is nice.
- Blackarachnia and Starscream teaming up is a nice reference. Also Dinobot calling Starscream a ghost.
- I like the detail of the Beast Modes being needed to deal with the rougher terrain. Imo it works better than the original "they act as radiation suits"
- Kinda odd they didn't bring in the Beast Wars-ified G1 characters then, but I guess it's for cost reasons. Would've liked to see Magnaboss tho.
- Is that Mu on the far-shot of Earth? There's no continent east of New Zealand!
- Dinobot having betrayed Megatron before is a nice detail, especially given how he's let off with it due to numbers. Dinobot's betrayal in the original series was pretty tame compared to all the shit Terrorsaur and Tarantulas got up to.
- There's only one moon, but I guess it makes sense given the fact the Vok don't really have time to appear
- Man the all spark does some funky stuff huh, everyone really b tripping.
- Cheetor doesn't get much to do but at least he isn't as obnoxious as in the original show. The comic still handles him better tho.
- Bruh why is Prime naming Bumblebee as his successor they've only known each other for like a week
- Optimus getting called out on his dumbfuckery in Siege is great. Fuck this Optimus Prime lmao
- Optimus Prime casually defending the old fascist government is a little h m m
- The Beast Modes are actually pretty well animated, but they don't appear that often. I'd totally be up for a remaster of the original series in this style. But bring the old VAs back for christ's sake.
- Awww Blackarachnia has a crush on Arcee and holy shit the fandom is gonna make some nasty fanart aren't they
- Starscream saying he's suffered millions of years of abuse is kinda sad tbh.
- Dinobot totally just paraphrased his most famous quotes and ehhhh it feels kinda forced.
- Matrix Corruption is back. Idk whether that's an obscure reference to that one G1 S3 episode or not.
- Airazor just called Soundwave a tape deck despite the fact he isn't one in this series huh.
- Dinobot fucking killed Ravage holy shit, my boy can't catch a break can he. He didn't even go out like a badass this time.
- Holy shit he killed Soundwave too what a chad.
- Dinobot giving G1 Megatron combat tips is great lmao
- Holy shit Dinobot got fucking annihilated by BW Megatron, he wasn't even that brutal in the original show.
- Dinobot and Rattrap still use their nicknames for each other which doesn't really make sense?
- The little acceptance moment for Dinobot is cute but his death immediately after isn't nearly as impactful as the original. Optimus Prime is like thanks for the matrix ok bye lol
- Why doesn't Airazor know what the allspark is like bruh that's the reason you came to earth lmao
- Optimus Primal still swings through trees. Which Gorillas don't do. The original series did this too tbh
- Blackarachnia telling Starscream to get his shit together is p interesting.

- Ngl I'm kinda sad at how much BW Megatron is being shafted here. They took one of the most interesting characters of the original show and turned him into a one-note butt monkey.
- I forgot to mention it earlier but the origin for the Maximals and Predacons in this seems kinda similar to Beast Wars Uprising

- G1 Megatron actually did the "It's over Prime" line better than the 1986 movie. Less generic, more spooky

- Also Starscream going mad over the Golden Disk reminds me of the original Dinobot. The two of them being similar also reminds me of Armada

Okay so I got inspired by a cool snow leopard piece to have a look at the Species List.
Apparently they aren't on it?
Anyway so in the comments I catalogued all the issues I could find with it aside from that. Here they are:

- Crows are included, but so are their parent family, Corvidae/ Corvids. Just use the latter, it's more inclusive.
- Bears get their own segment but you aren't given a choice of which bear.
- Camelidae/ Camelids get their own segement despite being rare and only containing two really distinct groups, Camels and Llamas
- Domestic Dogs are given their own option, but so are specific breeds
- "Canines and Lupines" is a group. Lupines aren't a proper grouping. Just use Canidae/ Canids, then you can include any Canines (Inc. Vulpinins), as well as the Borophagines and Hesperocyonines, as rare as they are (I know one of the former, none of the latter)
- Cervidae/ Cervids share the same problem as Bears.
- "Cows and Bovines" are a group - Cows ARE Bovines. The others listed are Caprines. The proper term for the whole grouping is Bovidae/ Bovids.
- Equidae/ Equids don't have an "Other" option. What if I wanted to post a Chalicothere character? I've seen a handful of them.
- Phoenixes and Gryphons aren't in Mythicals - they're placed with birds
- Again, incorrect terminology with Felines. I'll be honest these complaints are more me being pedantic but eh fuck it I'm in too deep lmao. Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Jaguars, Snow Leopards and Clouded Leopards are Pantherines. Sabrecats are Machairodontines. The collective term is Felidae/ Felid
- Arachnids and Scorpions are listed seperately under "Insects". Neither are Insects, and Arachnids covers Scorpions. All listed are Arthropods, use that name instead.
- Pandas are listed under "Other Mammals". Red Pandas sure but the more famous Giant Pandas are bears.
- Not a complaint but I'm just gonna commend them on putting Hyenas under Other Mammals. Too many misrepresent them as Canids.
- Please just lump the Vulpinins into the Canid grouping. They aren't nearly large enough of a group to warrant their own section.
- Why are Dinosaurs seperate from Reptiles
- Why are Wolverines seperate from Mustelidae/ Mustelids.

I've just made Zalifa. And they've barely got any art. And Constantine barely has any either.

But I have an idea. And it's fleshed itself out really well.

I'm thinking a Thylacoleo - the Extinct Australian Apex Predator.

Male. Probably straight.

Absolutely enormous. Like, even bigger (but only slightly I don't wanna get into Macro territory, that's not my thing) than Constantine.

I'm thinking he's got big emo/ doomer (might even lean into Goth. I have a friend who I could use as inspiration) vibes. He voluntarily wears a heavy metal muzzle when in public out of paranoia that if he freaks out he'll take someone's head off with his species' freakishly powerful bites. He also sands down his claws.

He's from a wealthy family. Really drive home the idea that he dislikes the power and authority his position gives him.

I'm thinking of naming him Ozzie. Short for Oswald. Obvs the short version is also used for Australia, and the long version just sounds fancy so it adds to his background. I imagine him speaking in a commanding, yet sincere voice. Think English Legoshi. But with a slight Australian accent.

So it's been a long four months but restrictions have been lifted and I'm back with all my stuff at university.

Now there's a fork in the path - do I try and do art on my PC again? My first few uploads were like that, and they were pretty clean looking

Or do I continue with my phone? I've come so far in the last few months, restricted to only using it. Almost all the art I've posted has been from my phone (all but two pieces).
