Posted 14 years agoIt's been awhile, once again. Hah. Well, I've been around lurking just haven't been completely active. I kind of want to change that though.
Like everybody else, I've been going to college and working through these crazy times trying to make a living. It's happenin' but at a slow pace, and only until recently have I've been able to release a majority of my financial burdens. This means I should have more time, and less stress on my end.
I've developed a lot of interest since I've last been active. I've become more craftier. I've been crocheting, sewing, cross-stitching, and what not.
My current ambition is to try and become a Registered Nurse. Or a Pharmacy Technician. I feel that my passion of helping people is a part of me, and what better job than to help the sick and poor. I still have a long journey ahead of me, but that's part of life.
I have to overcome myself by becoming healthier, smarter, and wiser. Blah blah, much can be said and I shall on my other account.
Something I wanted to bring up, I think it's about time to end the confusion. I know when I go to cons, I have several alias and it's hard to make a connection with that and my FA page so I'm gonna make the switch.
You guys can find my over at FlamingRawrs. I still have the same persona of a dragon and whatnot, although I may change that up too. A lot of change is coming up. I'm not entirely too sure what but it's about time I end the confusion between aliases, character sheets and whatnot. It's Spring, it's about time that I get stuff sorted out and start fresh. Hah.

What's been up.
Posted 14 years agoErrr, looks like it's been awhile since I've updated this thing. Probably best to at least post something here so that everyone knows what's up rather than those who follow me on twitter or LJ.
First off I want to say I'm not looking for any sympathy, pity or what have you. I'm just tellin' it how it is, this is how my life simply is.
Well I'll tell ya, I've had a great time at FC. During the middle of FC I started to feel sick and thus my time having fun was cut short for the last two days. Basically, my lower back hurted so much I had a really hard time walking around. At first I thought maybe I strained a muscle for sleeping in an odd position or something. But nooo, turns out I had some kind of kidney problems. :|
When your kidneys hurt, it really fucking hurts. No joke. My whole back was hurting. So managed to get back, and I was getting really sick. I slept the entire day hoping it'd go away. It got so bad I was gonna go to the hospital but instead I managed and just waited until I saw a doctor at a clinic. Took some meds and felt better.
Just when I started to feel better, college starts. As it starts, I'm moving to a new home along with my family. During this time our family got robbed. Trashed our home and stuff... Then my mother got sick, went to the hospital and basically I had to take care of her. It was painful when I found out we couldn't afford her medication. She got her essentials but it wasn't enough. So she went to the hospital again. Then I got sick with whatever the fuck she got. I got it pretty bad to then the pains in my back came back. So I'm getting pain and being sick all while handling college, moving and this stupid robbery. D:
So you could onlyyy imagine how much of a wreck I was and thus was really out of it on some days.
I don't have a desktop computer anymore for other reasons. So I only have a netbook which is useless when it comes to gaming so... I've been focusing with college stuff in the mean time.
And now, I'm still sick. Not that bad anymore but still.. having breathing problems. All part of that outbreak going on in SoCal. :P Or all the pollution, whatever. But despite all that, I'm hanging in there. I'm doing okay for now. I'm still kind of hiding. Not intentional but when I got to solve real life problems, I've been neglecting all the online stuffs.
So I apologize if I haven't been active or if you think I'm ignoring you or anything. Life has just been hectics is all and I'm still trying to catch up.

'Course this means that I'll be there attending with the home boys. If you want to meet up, play a game or two, let me know. I'll probably be a bit busy or something which is why I'm posting this in the first place.

I'll admit it and say it now, at first I can be awkward in meeting new or old friends.
If you see me be sure to say hi, I have a habit of waiting for someone to give me their full attention before I greet them otherwise I consider it rude to interrupt. *shrugs*
I'm alright with hugs, but I'm gonna assume a simple cali-hand shake will do as a greet. Bare with me. I don't normally hug people as a greeting, I do the whole nod and handshake thing. Although there are some people that comes natural, and some that don't. :]

Been through a lot of drama in life in the past two months.
I've also had the time of my life in the past two months.
But that's the thing, it's all in the past. No point in going back to explain each thing. Instead, it's time to look to the future.

I got an old vintage typewriter, I may type up some stories. Who knows.
I think I draw a bit better, so I may do that more. Keep in mind, I have no scanner which is why I haven't been updating much and I really dislike drawing from a tablet. I much prefer to draw on pencil first and then ink it but yeah.

Been busy with eating pizza and what not. ;]
Done all sorts of things that I wouldn't even know where to start! So, I'll just go ahead and say October was an awesome month.
Traveled to North Cali, went to Six flag's FRIGHTFEST not to be confused with Furfright like I kept getting confused with. lol
Spent time with Chubs, Ryken, Stray, Kobalt, Koge, aaaannd Wolfy while up there. Wish I could spend more time but that's life for ya! Gotta make the most of it with little time ya have. :3
Afterwards, just been getting back into the work groove. Apparently, I'm sooooo needed because I actually do my job. :T
Then, Halloween weekend came by and surprisingly had Halloween off. Course I made the plans to doooo stuff! Went to a concert, went to Hollywood with the local furs and simply had a great time.
And that's the thing I want to mention to y'all who bothers to read this journal. :T Make the time to have fun, fun isn't gonna find you, you gotta find it!

I'm 23 and now means I can.. buy drinks! :O ... Oh wait I can do that already. xD

Well well, as you can see, I'm still alive.
Lots happened.
It seems like my job affects the way I do things today. I thought that now I don't have to juggling college and work I'd have more free time. Turns out I don't. ;o
Only cause I've been working more and more, which to me is a good thing all cause as we're heading to the most wonderful time of the year. ;P
These wacky shifts of closing to graveyard shifts are killin' me. Blah! Not sure how long I can last before I'm burnt out. Plus, in theory, because I can handle just about all aspects of the store they have me do everything. :B

Been takin' more sewing classes. I think I've mastered the basics. I can read patterns. I even made my own pair of pants. Mah very own PJs. Black with red pimpin' thread. Bwaha! Should be done making the shirt too.
Made a cloak, although it's somewhat incomplete. I need to add the final touches but been tired (see above).
Same with the Plushie. Nearly done but just been either lazy or tired to finish up. :P

Times 'a harddd

Well, I thought I should mention that there are still lots of thing going on with life. A lot of rough moments that have me facing a lot of uncertainty. I think it's only fair that I tell everyone rather than selected people. I don't want anyone getting the wrong impression that I'm ignoring you/them or giving off a bad vibe or whatever. This is more like explaining my behavior as of late I guess.
So here's what's been happening:
I'm currently losing a home to foreclosure (well the land lord is). And noooo, I'm not gonna be homeless or anything. Just means we gotta you know... GTFO.
I've dropped out of college because of my parent's negligence. .... Yeah. It seems like it's asking a lot to their tax documents for financial aid. Whatever. This means more time to work at my job at save up money to move on outta here. Yaaay.
I lost a job because I'm not enrolled in college (see above). Before I worked two jobs and was a full-time student, now I'm just working at one job so it's not the end of the world. Yet.
Plus, because I have a mind that thinks, apparently I'm the cause of a lot of drama between family lately. zOMGGGG :I
I'm basically stressin' out a lot. Living day to day which leaves me feeling like my heart is about to rip in half. So often time you'll see me being stupid. Really, it's me acting stupid, because my life is too serious yo. Apparently there are no stupid zones. :B Hurrr.
So I often have to take naps or something to calm the fuck down. To much bullshit that goes on but whatever you know? Those are some of the major events going on. Shit I can cry about when I'm old or dead even, for now I'm just a foolish dreamer. :D Yaaaay!
I'm sure it will all pass eventually.
I'll be fine. All I ask that from you guys, if it isn't too much trouble, for a prayer, positive vibes, thoughts, feelings or whatever you can do to tell a higher being/beings or who ever you may believe in, for a blessing of some kind. That's all. I don't want anything else, I don't deserve anything and I am humbly grateful to know all you beautiful people for even giving a shit to even see this post.

I've done a lot of things to keep me busy and help my mind with things.
Playing TF2, and perhaps FFXIV should I have the opportunity to play it is one. The other is sewing. I've made a vest which I'm wearing now. :x Nearly done with my plushie project. And currently in the middle of making a cloak (nearly done) for Halloween. Soon I have cargo shorts, and perhaps more costume stuffs for shits n giggles. I've learned a lot, who knows, maybe I'll be making my own clothes? Ehhh? EHHHH???! 8D
Anyhow yeah, sucks that I'm not around as much as I want to but it is what it is. And I know it's like that for all of us one way or another. Proof = Plato. He onced said, "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
Booya.
That being said, I hope everyone is doing well. Hang in there, you're not the only one. We're all hurt in these times, we all need something from one another. Do your best with a smile and over time you may realize, you gotta live right now otherwise it'll be too late.
We all have to come together, help each other and.. HAVE ORGIES!!! OMGGG D:!!!

Plushie News
Posted 15 years agoI don't think many people were aware that I was intending to make a plushie. This goes waaaay back, in late July. I took a class and now I just want to get a feel for sewing, perhaps some day I'll be able to make costumes or tails or something. I dunno. Really, I intended to learn so I can fix up my clothes. :I Zippers and buttons are not friendly to me. But anyway, the whole point is this.
I've made the tail some time ago, but I couldn't figure out how I could make the body. Oddly enough, one night I was in the bathroom washing my hands when it came to me. I looked at the sink and it was a rectangular-oval like shape. Kind of like PENS! :P
Anyway, I made the neck too. Don't think it was that hard really. I mean, NOW is the hard part that I gotta figure out. The legs and especially the head. All the other details can always be worked out... but yeah. Pics ahead!

I don't have anything to make curves so I used my tailor chalk to make a curve. I placed the chalk in the corner and then I would mark it an X on the corner facing the fabric and basically used stuff I did in math to make a curve. :T

And yeah, I know there are those special occasions for big things like graduation / birthdays / etc .
Why can't we all just gather around and enjoy being around family and friends?
Celebrate the little things in life.
Recognizing each other for simply getting through the week or perhaps to remind ourselves how lucky we are to be friends with so and so and even with family should we remember why one is together.
I guess now that I think about it now, churches kind of fit that description. Except what I see many people do is simply attend because they have to since as kids they were forced to go. Or people go because one is believed it's the social norm. And hey, there's nothing wrong with that I suppose, I'm not going to criticize it but to be fair there are those who are really dedicated and are friends with everybody and it's those that I respect the most. You know, they spread the word of God. I occasionally go to some bible studies and I'll listen and even partake on the conversations you know?
My thing is that, it doesn't have to be religion related, should just be a simple gathering at a park or at a beach. A weekly festival of music, games, and food. Turn it to a bonfire and you got yourself a grand slamming day.
Anyway, something I had in mind that I wanted to get out.

Posted 15 years agoI learned that a good local friend of mine passed away. She suffered from cancer or something I'm not quite sure... I guess they found out a little too late before they could do something about it I'm not sure.
At first I was in disbelieve that she is actually gone but man... she was a young woman, maybe older than me by a decade. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have opened up to meeting new people you know? I told her first about my sexuality and everything.
She may have been different, she always talked about the people in NYC and how it is or how she hosts a fashion show among our college campus and held a film club.
She always said I was charming, my smile would warm the hearts around me. And the last thing we did was take photos together and said we would see each other next semester.
Her funeral is tomorrow. I'm gonna be there. It'll be my first time ever going to a funeral and I have no proper attire such as a tux and all that. I'll try but I hope what I have is suitable. Aside from that, I've just been bummed.
I mean, it's just.. so sudden. I would have never thought that she would go out like this. And then it raising the question about life and how are you living it.
I like to think I'm okay, I believe I am but I dunno, I have such bad timing when it comes to anything.
I know I strive to live life to the fullest and sometimes I don't do enough but at least I'm trying. I make mistakes but I believe that love, honesty and truth will make up for it. So the real question is, what are you doing with your life?
