Got back last Monday from CanFurence, all in all had a great time with my friend :>

I had been working on a costume the past 3 weeks prior to it, all in all I'm really happy with what I managed to do with my "literally the first time doing any of this" skill level, it turned out half decent, and usable. Just the hot-glued claws almost gave out at the very end, but they survived the con at least :P

Friday was so busy with all the panels we wanted to see, we ate at odd hours. Ended up back at the hotel so late, the only things open were shawarmas and pizzas.. We went with shawarma through uber eats, they gave us extra ones for some reason.

Saturday was a lot less busy, I think we did 3 panels all in all, chilled in the gaming lounge and stuff like that.

Sunday we went to visit some museums instead, the museum of Canadian history and the war museum, was really cool. We got to the con just for the closing ceremony but the room was too full so no seatings lol. Hopefully next year they have an overflow room or something.. Or maybe they did and we never knew, oh well!

I definitely got pictures, though dunno about uploading them on FA, I'll share em with anyone interested on discord though, anyway that's all here~

Not long ago I took a 5~ hours train ride to a wedding in Toronto. We had a great time and got to visit the city a bit as well while staying at some Airbnb, even bought some fancy chiffon cakes and they were amazing!

I'm gonna be going to CanFURence this August, currently working on a costume I'll bring there, unfortunately not really a fursuit, though I'm hoping to make it really birded up.. Only time will tell what the end result will be though. Still got 2-3 weeks to figure what all I can do. Been struggling with sewing a lining due to the fabric being so thin but it's my second time using a sewing machine, I'm sure I'll figure it out~

I sometimes doodle, maybe next year I'll try to participate in artfight, but for now I'm just a spectator. Though no real art I want to post there, I could post in scraps if anyone really wants to see heh.

Anyway not much else going on, this is the most busy I've felt I've been in a while that's worth sharing to the interwebs, wishing you all a good day~

All my previous journals were about just my birthday, I have nothing to update people about lol.

AM now 33 years old wee, though I'm 2 days late to writing this.. Shows how little I pay attention to making journals at all. I honestly am not one to write about myself to the public anyway, I tend to just keep to private conversations and all that instead of social media.. Anyway onto yearly update I guess?

Still working at the same place, it has now been 7 years. Definitely can't complain but also I start to wish to retire already, just because I'd like to do more things while I'm young, but I am stuck within the city of Montreal since if I lose my job, I'd have to come crawling back here anyway to keep working..

With that dream of money, I started gambling a small sum into the stock market, I bought a few shares and I'm just watching how the money moves, not really doing any rash decisions but it's definitely a thing I regret not doing 5+ years ago haha.

I had a vacation in Costa Rica earlier this year, it was really fun save my father being drunk, and living a bit far from any of the touristy stuff meant we had to do an hour drive every day, but it's a beautiful country, and the parks and animal welfares we visited were very cool!

I have two cats now, forgot if I mentioned it last year, but both of them come from the shelter, and both of them only has 3 paws, but that doesn't stop them from being cats, I love em <3

I still draw, incredibly rarely. Nothing worth posting but I did make my october avatar so I'll be posting it right after this journal!

Anyway that's about it for me. You all have a great year, starting from now!

32 egg day burd now.. I now own 2 cats, and 6 paws between them. Each cat only has 3 paws.. One is missing their whole upper left arm due to amputation. But that doesn't stop them from being adorable, cuddly and playing with each other and all that. So all in all, fun time.
Used to be worried about leaving the home too long but I got me one of those wifi security cameras so I can check on them all the time, no more anxiety woo!

In other news, missed my chance for a promotion at work, trying for next year but if it doesn't come through I think I will start looking elsewhere, my sister started making less than me, but after switching 3 jobs over the course of me keeping the same employment she is now making like.. 1.5 times more than me. Totally happy for her, but I do the same kind of tech job so a bummer for me. Not that I feel like I need the extra money, I'm more into the good work from home conditions that I have, but still something I think about and figured I would share.

Whew, only posted 2 journals between birthdays. My life keeps being just boring and cruising with nothing special to tell the randos that watched me for the random porn commissions I got over time. Or my dear friends who watch me / I watch back <3

Now 31 years old, past boomer hour and approaching mid-life crisis stages where I'm debating getting the 4080 16GB model because what else to spend my money on? Once I do that though I may do a raffle for anyone interested in a 1080TI, I hate selling stuff on local marketplaces and would rather give them to less fortunate friends that could use a upgrade and such. But no real plans for that yet.

Anyway that's the story for now, make your bets on how many more journals until the next birthday!

Sup boys, I'm heading for a week trip in the Dominican Republic. I haven't seen a beach in like 5 years so I'm pretty darn excited to just go and relax for a while at a resort. I'll try to remember to take pictures! I should be back on the 21st this month.

Also the plane we'll be boarding is a Boeing 737 MAX 8, so it was nice knowing you all. :P

Congrats me, I've become a home owner (Well Condo owner) - I now own a semi-basement unit which I am moving into tomorrow. It's been a lot of work the past weeks to prepare for the move, and today was spent cleaning 3 different places and packing the final boxes, all that's left is my computer sitting on this desk and the router, nerd 4 life.

Honestly not looking forward to it though, because once the move is complete, I will be living completely alone. Before I was with my sister in a apartment we rented together, but she wanted us to split to our own places so this is it happening. That means there'll be no one to just talk to about the day, help with cooking and cleaning, and help with any challenge that might come my way. It'll just be myself, and I don't trust myself to keep my place clean or feed myself properly now that all the tasks will require more effort than previously.. Good thing I bought a robot vacuum and mop I guess.

I should write more journals, but my life tends to be tame and boring so I never know what to say anyway.

I forgot how to post journals for a while.

But my life is pretty much just the same with nothing of interest to even post journals about, so you're all spared.

I guess, for the past 2 years I've been working as a game developer for a 120~ ish employees company. It's pretty nice and relaxed and I really enjoy it!
My grandmother's dementia and Alzheimer's is getting pretty bad and it really sucks :/ but such is life.

Anyway, thank you all for coming to my ted talk. Hope you're all doing well! c: And watch me not post anything for another 2 years.

I've finally finished my studies and have received my bachelors in Software Engineering!
It's been a long and arduous 4 years with many projects and exams and all the jazz. But now it is finally over, and it also marks the end of my studies and the beginning of my career!

So anyways I put pretty much all of my previous stuff into scraps where they belong because I find my own stuff cringeworthy anyway.

I think this one was one of the worse semesters in terms of courses pertaining to the field I'm going in. They were both baaaad, while the classes that are usually bad were the best ones :v Oh well, this semester is behind me now!

2 Final exams left to do, one tomorrow and another Monday. Then I get 6 days off and my next semester starts again! Woo university, also I'm poor now! 8D
