Time for a Change
Posted a year agoI had to refer a friend to my furaffinity the other day, and was absolutely humiliated by the name I had to give you. Whatever I intended when I was freaking 16 when I made this account, the name has not aged well. So, it's time to pack it up.
I'll be moving to my other account,
empyreal to get a fresh start. Will be slowly moving all my art over there as I can. When I've finally purged this account, it's time to delete it and let it go. I'll try and follow everyone there that I do here, but I'm done. Fresh start time. Heavens know that FA is never going to let us change our usernames which I held out hope for (for forever).
So yeah. Follow me if you want. Or not. I'll purge this slowly though, so no point in sticking around.

Posted 8 years agoIt's been a tumultuous few years. I got married. I got divorced. Had the biggest depressive slump of my life (so far), managed to struggle out and went back to school. Started dating again - made it to two years and realized I wasn't happy.
Have a new relationship with a fabulous guy who lights up my life. He got me a tablet - just because, really. To replace my broken old one. Ever since I've been drawing more and more. It's like I finally have a little spark back. Not committing to anything here but if it keeps going and growing, I'm hoping to make a full comeback. Finished art pieces and really posting regularly again.
I have a first date with another new guy tomorrow. I'm nervous and excited. Poly is challenging but rewarding. It's brought me some wonderful new people in my life; a great boyfriend, a gorgeous and lovable metamour, a fun and joyful play partner.
Now if we can just avoid nuclear war from our idiocracy government and Cheetoh in Chief.

I want you to be nice people, and I'm going to ask you to do me a big favor! One of my friends at school bastianwolf is doing a project for his printmaking class, that's on youtube. It's a REALLY COOL stop motion animation that he did. Everyone in the class did an animation, and they put them up on YouTube. They'll leave them up all semester, and at the end the person with the most views gets bonus points! (or something really awesome like that.)

I will never be able to watch another movie in theaters without complaining about how flat they are. My god the details were incredible!
Is it totally lame that I cried at the end of the movie? I went to see it with my mother, a big softie (who is totally Grace, btw; she's a biologist, and when the "I've got to take a sample!" line went by she giggled uncontrollably), cried too. We got out and I asked her why she cried. She said it was just so romantic.
I cried because I want it to be real.
Wish I had enough money to pay someone to design me my own Avatar. Ffff.
Oh, and does anyone else think the Na'vi looks sorta like
freakzter's Yez species? :P
