I'm kind of bored attempting to draw things in a more realistic style. I've always been completely in love with cartoons and toony stylings, so I think I'm going to switch to that. You guys are my watchers, so your thoughts?

I got a tablet for Christmas, and Photoshop elements 6. I was wondering what brush to use for lines? Should I make a brush? Any advice? Thanks!

A couple of months ago, I was driving to school, and I almost got side swiped by a van who was breaking traffic laws. My mother yelled at me, and I realized, I didn't care if there was an accident or not. I didn't care if I lived or died.

This was unnerving to me, because I've always forced myself to do well in things, such as school. Basically my life at the moment is controlled by, "It'll help for college". I've always thought I need to succeed, but to what end? To make my time here on earth, living, happy? Then I pondered, if I'm going to die at some point anyway, what's the point in trying? What's the point in going through all of this, to reach death?

I don't really believe in hell, though I do believe in God and Heaven. I believe if you're a dick or an awful person in real life, you'll just kinda disappear. This is just kinda extra.

So in my pondering, I've thought, ok, If i won't kill myself, then why not have fun and destroy everything I've ever stood for? Why not go out and sex it up and drugs and alcohol and be a general delinquint? Might as well have a bit of fun, right? But, I'm a coward, and could never do that. Plus, is it really fear, or just a non interest in doing it? Would it just be rebellion against life? I've realized a fear of utter failure, I don't want to live in a ditch or anything, but at the same time I'm gripped by the utter futileness in life.

So, what's left? I can either decide, I'm gonna die anyway, lets just kinda let it go. Then I realized, ya know, I want to be a vet. That's the career I'm going for. There has to be something else in it then money, and it's the fact that I'm helping something that can't really help itself, and deserves the help. I feel an animal deserves more help than a homeless human being who more or less put themselves in that position. So, I want to be productive and help.

1) What if I don't get there? and 2) What do I do till then?

Laugh, live, and enjoy. Enjoy what you really enjoy. If that is sitting down and watching cartoons to rid yourself of these thoughts, than thats it. If it's helping animals, that's it. If it's playing music, that's it. Just be happy with what you have. Life if that wonderful puzzle you get when you're born. If you solve it, you get to die and go to your afterlife, whatever that may be. To me, that's Heaven and God. To you, it may be whatever. If you don't believe in an afterlife, you no longer have to deal with the people around you. You don't have to solve any more problems. To those that believe in an afterlife, you get to hang out in paradise, where you control everything. You can throw in an obstacle if you get bored. And that's what you get when you beat a puzzle. You can change it, cause you beat it.

Laugh at life, bevause eventually, you beat it.

That's my deepness for now.

So, I went to the North Carolina State Fair yesterday. I had read that the Triangle Area Furries Meetup group was going to be there, but I already had plans with my other friends, so I thought I could wear my tail so in case they saw me they could say hi.

I never ended up seeing them, but an adorable little girl found me instead. I was waiting in line for something when she came up and poked my tail. I turned around and looked at her, and she looked at me, and I smiled and waggled it a little. She smiled back, and it was adorable.

I love making small children happy.

So I went to see the Lady Gaga concert in Raleigh on sunday.

Other than being totally awesome and amazing and sweet and crazy, I really liked the fact that she 1) Talked to us and 2) Everyone seemed to get along for the most part

Lady Gaga seems to be one of those rare pop idol's who readily embrace religion, and get what it's really about, at least to Christians. She kept mentioning how it didn't matter what sexuality you are, how much money you have, what you wear, etc., but that Jesus loves you any way. And quite honestly, I agree. She's such a huge supporter of Gay Rights, and she she's right through the fanatic Christians who bash them and say, "Hey. He who speaks loudest does not necessarily speak for the majority". One would think, "She would have to be the most anti- religion person out there! Look at her, she's nuts, she loves gays, she loves expression", but come on. Be realistic, like she is. I don't care how fucked up you say she is or her show is, she can see through what the general public seems to accept. This is true in a multitude of situations, Not all liberals are tree hugging hippies, not all conservatives are only concerned with profit and conformity, not all religions are only concerned with converting you or starting wars, not all athesits are concerned with disproving God. People form conceptions about people based on the most extreme or out spoken examples. Then, the opposite side of the spectrum forms just as extreme views to combat these other views. It's a waste of time, and it detracts from the basic human task of social togetherness.

I felt like I was friends with every single person there, no matter who they were, what their thoughts were, how they dressed, who they fucked, anything. Besides the music, Lady Gaga really is a cultural icon.

So I used to be in a girl scout troop. Very recently. Then I left the troop because of issues with the leader. So now, I'm a girl scout with out a troop. That is called, a "Juliette"

Like in "Romeo and Juliette"

So basically, our name symbolizes killing oneself over a guy. Not very empowering to girls.

An observation I made earlier.

Also, I feel its very dangerous to dance AND sing in the shower. But I do it anyway.

I'm actually posting what I consider to be high quality art, compared to my other pieces. I have found a better way of coloring and have mastered my heavy hand so colored pencils work.
