I got an e-mail form my brother, syaing that he is settled down, and he wants me to move in wiht him in Las Vegas.

He's giving me the chance to get on my paws.. I'm just not sure if I should take it.. my family and I never really got along, my brother and I have had many a rocky time, we've made up a bit, and this time he's really wishing to help me.

However...

I've got friends here, old and new now with this job, not to mention I'm not sure how i'd get there, seeing as my car went boom, and I've got my roommate and my puppy dog.. which I ho0nestly can't give up, not only due to her needs, but a really important promise i made.

Still...

If i works out... then there will be no more worrying!

First, the good news!

I am of the wokring class now! Yep, I work in a warehouse that ships magazines, mail, postcards, ect. I'm a binder, meaning I take a pallet, and bind it up with nylon binding, run it thorugh a wrapping machine, and send it on it's merry way! It's a job.. heheh.

Now, the tidbits o' the bad!

Firstly, my car is now none existant. I tell you all, keep track of your oil, and if notice any leaks that are suspicious, get them fixed. I didn't, and ran out of oil, and let me tell you, when a car catches fire, that is no fun :D

And two, some idiot at work damn near killed me by not watching where he was going and running into the hand cart I was working with. ((note: for some gowaweful reaosn, there handcarts have a big dforwards button mounted rihgt on the friggen end near the handle....)) at the time I was manually adjusting a pallet to get a proper weight, (( Which, in all reality is suggested by the company for accuracy, since the handcarts are hard to use, and no one is supposed to come that close to the specific area, anyway. )) when suddenly everyhitng moved forwrards and, by natural reaction, and for the very love of my toes, I caught 800 pounds from slipping off the weight machine, and onto my paws. Meaning, of course, all the force was transfered to my back. Two pulled muscles and what I'm sure due to the feeling is several bruised and cracked ribs, later, I'm back at work, refusing to give up like the stubborn badger I am. I hate the pain, but I tell you... seeing someone reamed like that is something I won't forget. XD

All in all however, this gives me a good feeling, I've got a job.. If I can work things out even futher.. I'll be set! :D

Mercy's Story.

A poor dog, beaten, stabbed and set on fire... she died, unfortuantly from her wounds.

How can some people be so cold and cruel in this world? What was the point of doing this to a gentle soul?

I post this becuae of my own dog, Willow, who herself was abused, neglected, and beaten be a former owner, I'm taking care of her now, and in the end, I'll never give her up.

I post this in hope that you all will see this story, and maybe someone on FA can help, knows soemthing, anyhting, to bring these horrible bastards to justice.

I post this, as a reminder of those who can't fight for themselves.

If anyone might know something, let these peopel know, and don't do it for the rewards, do it for Mercy, so she my finally have true peace.

Okay! Well here's some news.

Turns out I'm still being Evicted tommorrow, that's bad, o'course. however, we've got some dirt on the landlady here.. about how shes running the place..

y'see, last ngith my roomie, Diago, and I we're sitting at the computer when we heard some noise outside.. looked otu the widnwo to find someone slashing the tires on the car outside, spooked him off and went to our neighbors to call the cops. Apperenlty there was a burgulary no far down the road that may be related to this event.

However, the action that guy took allowed us to talk wiht the other tenants.. turns out it's illiegal to enter soemone apartment here without 24 hours written notice, and her and her lackey Maintenence peopel do it whenever they please. Also, in reguard to my pets not being cared for and my apartment posing a health risk to the building, all the other tenants say that's basically bullshit.

So, yes, we've got dirt.. and now we're aiming to use it. We're not staying here, no, but this way, we'll have more time to find a place..

You know, time like this, I wish I would listen to those who care about me and love me enough to offer support and their knowledge that things will be okay.

A minor update, mostly older stuff, working on newer stuff now, but..

I figure I'd come out and say this.

My landlady has given an eviction notice for the Tenth, and currenlty, I am without a place to go, no friends, no family can help, basically I'm on my own in this, save my pets and my roommate.

So, as of Monday, I will no longer be online until I find a new place to live somehow.. and to make matters worse, my phjone has been cut off due to SBC being total pricks, had a lovely little conversation wiht them today, which resulted in my roomamte and I being laughed at, basically. so, I've got no contact wiht the one lead, save for driving the 50 miles into the city to talk with them.

I'll try and be back ASAP, and I will be fine, I'm not one to give in so easily..

Well.. this sucks a ltitle more now.

My landlady basically said I have until the tenth to get a new place, or I'll be, I asusme by the tone of the letter, forced out. Also, I am to rid this abode of my pets, today actually..

I basically said fuck that. My pets are my family, my children. I love them and care ofr them, the only way I would be rid of them is if I knew they would be cared for, and there's no one I trust that much, save for a few whom couldn't help due to location...

However, there is some good news..

Got a lead on a place, $495 a month, good location (near an airport, though) and the don't care about pets.. so wish me luck everyone. the location is such that, there's plenty of opportunity for work, espically as Security, given the airports and several Storage facilities nearby. So, we'll jsut have to see...

Hey, if I gun and warrant to use it.. I'll invite some of my fmaily around to see the new place ... *evil grin*

Anyway! More as this information develops. ^/_^

You see, we need a certain monthly income to qualify for a rental agreement. Or a Co-singer in case we can't pay, netiher of which we have ... and it's like that for most plaes around here that will accept our conditions, as I've got three pets.

I love getting kicked just when you've got that little bit of hope in your life... like smacked right in the nuts. It's very very irritating... *growls*

And the only thign I have to be thankful for is my mate. Even if I only saw her for a moment tonight, she said hello, and snugged me, and didn't ignore me like most have today.

Life sucks. I don't know what to do.

I won't give up, though. Fuck that.

Moving time once more.. bleh, stupid landlady, I can only hope I can find some place in two days. >.<

Have an apartment lined up, gonna check it out in a bit, hopefully it'll go over well. ^/_^ If not.. I'll be bak, just don't really know when-abouts.

Good news, though. My car is fixed, thanks to Kolmeck, diago and myself realizing a key note... -ALWAYS- put the belts in right side up .. >.< In our defense, the first itme we did it, we had a small Maglight flashlight to go by... but still.. Rawr. At least it's running now, though.

Ahhh.. these past couple of week have been just.. frustrating. The whole one step forwards, two steps back routine really get old after a time.. hehe. Losing friends, losing new jobs, ect, all get irritating. Espically when a few others seem to try and convince you that you're taking some thigns far too personally...

As far as that goes, I care about my friends, I'm outspoken wiht how they're treated, and I am fiercely protective of certain people in this world, one of whom I would kill for. (you know who you are, luv.) So, reguardless of what people think of me, or what they tell me, I won't really change my attiude, becuase that is basically what I am, protective. sorry if I make me jump to conclusions sometimes, but I am not the only one responsible for doing those things, mind you..

One of my best friendships has been ruined to the point where I don't even care about it anymore by that, by the who idea that I was after someones mate. Sure, there was talk about it, but you know, I respected the sanctity of their relasionship, and still caught all sorts of hell for it. So let it be a lesson to all of you out there,

Don't jump to conclusions about thigns, I know from personal experience how much it affects things.

And a final apology to all those who were invovled in the first place, but simply because I'm apologizing dosen't mean I'm hoisting the burden upon myself totally, but I am also forgiving the past transgressions, and am hoping those who were involved, even I'm not their friends any longer, will be able to do the same out of decency and the want to make life better.
