So im lying here unable to draw anything due to lack of ideas when I realised holy god there's over 150 of you following me? I'm really flattered~
So as a little practice and a thank you I'm going to draw a few characters by random. Want in? Rules are simple. Just comment below with a link to your character ref and a few notes on the characters personality (Playful, panicky aloof ect) and I will do a random number generator and sketch who comes out. I don't know how many I'll do so feel free to add even if I have done a sketch already~

Just over an hour ago Anne my 2 years 7 months old dumbo rat passed away after surgery. She had a very large growth on her body that had rendered her unable to use her front left paw and it had gotten to the point where she couldn't move independently on her own.

I should have gotten this operation long before it got to this point but at £150 it took me a while, but it really would have been cruel to her to keep her going like that so in the end this is still best. The vet was someone who has been taking care of her for a long time and he was lovely breaking the news to me and gave hugs when needed.

Her sister is fine if a bit serchy I think shes looking for anne, she'll settle soon and i'll try to introduce toffee and whiskey to her again now that she doesn't feel the need to protect anne from them.

Terms and Conditions

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, “you” will refer to the customer receiving and paying for the art work and anyone who views the artwork through social media, and “me” will refer to blackphantom1412, the artist.

Art Usage:
In creating art for you I retain the intellectual copy right to the artwork, but not the rights to the characters and the designs contained within the piece.

You are permitted to:
- Post the commissioned work to your accounts on FurAffinity, DeviantArt, Tumblr or any other social media website, giving credit to me, as the artist, wherever possible.
- Use the commissioned work as an avatar on social media websites, Instant Messenger services et cetera, giving credit to me, as the artist, wherever possible.
- Print the commissioned work for personal use.
You are NOT permitted to make money off of any art on my page, commission or otherwise, without direct permission. This includes using the art to create any other piece of this includes, but is not limited to; bookmarks, prints (for commercial use), mouse mats, and coasters.

Artwork drawn specifically for a commissioner will not be sold on without direct permission from said commissioner, unless payment is not received for an approved pose. In this case, I am entitled to offer the pose to a new commissioner without approval from the original commissioner.

Reference:
A clear and correct reference must be given. Please ensure all references are up to date.
If no reference images are available, please provide a clear and precise description (for example, if the commission is for a reference sheet).

Any communication between the artist and the commissioner must be written in easy to understand, clear English; poor quality references or miscommunication can lead to mistakes and, despite many attempts, I am not a mind reader, please proof read before sending messages.

Any custom clothing requested on the character must have a clear image as close to the desired design as possible. If no image of the design exists, a clear and detailed description must be provided at the beginning of the commission. If multiple edits are required, a small charge of £2+ may be added on to the cost of the commission, and the art will not be worked on until the charge is payed.

Payment:
Upon agreeing to a commission I will create a rough pose for you to approve. This will be made with bare basic shapes and no precise line work at this point. Once the pose is agreed on, full payment of both the standard fee and the shipping fee must be payed as applicable. There will also be a 50p charge as paypal takes 59p from the final amount. I will not begin work on the final product until all payment arrives, including the waiting time for eCheques to clear. Only payments made though PayPal will be accepted. Special exclusion may be given if you are able to pay me in person at the Liverpool “ScouseFurs” meets.

Refunds:
Within two (2) days of sending payment, and if the art has not yet been completed, you can be refunded for any and all artwork and payments.
After starting the artwork, or after the two days have passed, I withhold the right to refuse refunds to any commissioner and to fully refund and cancel for any reason.

Sketches/WIPs:
Sketches will be sent to the commissioner through notes on FurAffinity to be approved and WIP’s will also be sent this way through. The final image will be sent to the commissioner via e-mail.

Communication:
I am to be contacted via notes on FurAffinity and not by e-mail. This is to keep contact quick and regular as I do not check e-mails while I am out.

I will respond as soon as possible to all notes received. However, if you receive no reply please wait at least five days before messaging again, as I have a sick pet to care for and I am also on a university animation course that takes up much of my time. You may send me notes me on different topics, but multiple notes on the same subject will be regarded as harassment and/or hassling and may lead to the commission being dropped and payments being refunded.

I will then message you if I can accept the commission at that moment and at the soonest chance will make a rough posing design to be approved. Once I get approval for it I will need payment into my PayPal account (I will supply the address when I accept it) with a 50p PayPal charge. If the character has overly complex markings or detailed clothing I will be adding additional charges but I will inform you about them before I send the PayPal address.

Upon receiving payment I will work on the commission as soon as I can, please keep in mind I work for inconsistent shifts must most commonly Friday so don't be surprised if you do not get an instant reply. Also if after receiving a rough pose base if you either decided to back out or don't contact me over two weeks without previous warning I hold the right to advertise the pose drawn for you for another commissioner. If after agreeing on a pose you ask for a complete reposing I will incur a charge of £4.

Upon completion I will send you the large full-sized image and a smaller one for uploading to furaffinity. The badge file size will be large by default so you can print the badge as big or small as you want. If you have paid for printing and shipping I will ask for your address at this point and print out the design on HP premium choice paper and send on uk 1st class shipping (I will state if other was needed)

Just spreading the news here, in January there will be a furry convention in my hometown of liverpool. More info can be found in the above link and the con is in a perfect spot. The hotel is right across from the train station (you literally walk forwards out the station and your there) and its sat with the city center, so plenty of places to go to eat or buy little things you forgot (I know i did as cf)

Ok, I am about to go to a university that requires me to take two trains to get to each day and a big thing I was planning on to cut down time was going to be my bike. Now that I have looked the thing over, its a wreck and needs a few new parts and I'm honestly debating if getting a new bike would be cheaper. But I don't have the money and I wont for quite some time at this rate.

And now for a ramble. This is something that is probably nothing but I don't think people understand how much that words they use for something can effect someone. Yesterday I finished my course in Foundation art and I went home thinking it was all complete and handed in. Then I got a call from my tutor and he said 'You are missing work that is vital and without it you will fail'. This naturally sent me into an on mass panic and had me breaking down even after what he had told me I was missing. It turned out to be a tinny thing that I had done and send off to him in under half an hour but because he used the phrase 'Vital or you fail' instead of 'Missing a small section' it shoved me through an emotional mince grinder.
Sorry for the rant, I just think people need to think of their wording more especially if you have worked with the person for 3 years and know pressure sends them into a mini panic attack.

This is something I see too much in pet shops. A parent buys a pet which his kids think look 'cool' but they dont look at what they need to take care of them. If you can spare a little bit for them you will get rewards but come on, these are 8 month old animals that wont make it without help.
