I arrived at my job today as usual and waited for someone inside to open the door...only problem is that the person who was supposed to do that was sick and though another employee was supposed to unlock the door due to him thinking she was moved back to Mondays...but she was not. So some of my other coworkers and myself had to wait 25 minutes until someone came and opened the door. And it all happened on a Monday

For those who don't know, I work at a library as a Page (a person who re-shelves books) and it's a pretty good gig...until today that is


This day in particular had 4 punks on my side of the library being rowdy and rude (one of them even pulled another patron's hair) and being disrespectful to me. I told them to be quiet several times but they continuously ignored the order. I then told my co-workers about this and they told them to leave...which they did but they moved to the lobby. And when I was getting ready to head home, one of the punks (The leader probably) circled my dad's car and gave me the finger & taunted us. My dad gave them a warning but they were rude to him so he went inside to report them and the leader continued to pester me...In which I shouted to him "GO TO HELL"...something tells me They'll be back tomorrow...but I'm gonna be prepared

UPDATE: They never returned, But what i heard form a co-worker, One of the Punks got punished and spanked by his mother for disrespecting her and having his music on too loud

I rarely talk about my family life on Social Media, But i think i should let you all know about something that most of us have been though at some point in our timelines. In June of 2017, during a routine check-up, doctors have discovered that my mother had cancer. Luckily they caught it at the early stages so they managed to remove it during the fall months and she has been doing great in recovery since then. Now it is December and she will be now going into chemo to remove the trace amounts (and with that, losing hair) and thus wont be able to go to work for a while so I got a job with help from the JVS (Jewish Vocational Services) of Chicago so i'm gonna be busy for a while. For those who may have gone through this...what was it like?
