Posted 10 years agoUsed to be unsure after about 10 hours of playing, but I think I've eased into the game. Lovin' the better combat already, though I gotta keep reminding myself to pick up weapons to gain ammo, durn it.

Posted 13 years agoWilling to make pixel art/sprites, thinking maybe.. 1-2€ (euros) for a set of, say, 3 sprites (up to 5?). This is probably for simple, kinda tiny-ish sprites though. I suppose larger, much more detailed sprites would cost more. Anyone have any ideas for possible commissions they would want out of me, what it'd be, and how much they'd be willing to pay?

As of late I've contemplated doing some pixel art for around 1 € per piece. What kind of quality do you all expect from such a price (be it expensive or cheap, who knows?) offered? You all can see my pixel art as is in the gallery, would you honestly believe any of that crap would be worth even a measly euro? Or, hey, less than a mere euro?
Please leave some comments. I definitely want to know.

[OLD] Raven Dragonuv
Posted 16 years agoWhile nothing particularly noteworthy to put into a journal (just like 94% of the internet), I am however continually working on the Raven Dragonuv WIP pixel art that I posted before. It will be quite a big 'un. Granted, problems here and there most likely, since I prefer studying anatomy alone (I seem to have more success self studying.), but I am quite proud of this one. Hope you guys will all like it when this gets out.

Posted 16 years agoThere is one thing that keeps nagging me all the while here. I keep noting that someone I'm watching keeps deleting their journals thus making an annoying mess of things that I have to nuke now and then. I mean.. Who and why?
It's not like it's the end of the world for me, just really dang annoying that I can't remember who posted several journals long enough to realize who's the one deleting them.
Also, there are some old pics that suffered the same thing. Again, don't know who keeps doing that.. If only FA would let you know who the user is. ¬.¬;
Though there may also be the thing, where said person who does keep doing is not watching me so.. Yeah, this journal might be ignored. o.o;

I used to draw with my mom (She was a great artist too, though I don't remember it much now.) when I was but a wee little lad. I specifically remember doing my first significant pixel art at around the age of nine.

Right.
Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Both aren't easy to draw - however, females tend to be particularily easier than males due to lack of any additional, concrete musculature. Unless she's a body builder, then it can be just as bad. x.o
Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Short hair - I never seem to get long hair to suit my tastes..
Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
I suck at heads (shush. >>; ), period. If any when I improve, I would definitely say that having the head face the VIEWER is easier than sideways..
Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front view.
What do you have problems in drawing?
My complete ineptitude at anatomy, specifically, musculature and any appendages of any species whatsoever - arms, hands, the body, overall just.. Problems since I always make them look so bloody wonky, I never just seem to get them right.
What do you like to draw?
Any of my characters, but I despise drawing Ryan the most - he's about the closest thing to being, well, me as a fursona,. Which is why it's the most difficult too - I want to see the character look as good as possible.. Which is funny, when other characters end up looking tons better than he'd ever be..
Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I fancy (term used loosely) both, but I excel in the digital form, mostly.
Where do you start drawing from?
The head.
What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
Every furry I have so far seems to have a look reminiscent of Hege's or Arroyo's (Hege is on FA, though I am not sure on Arroyo - they both appear on the Middle Ground message board.) artwork.. Cute in a way.
Also, I tend to keep drawing things diagonally - you can imagine how frickin' high one eye is (usually the character's left) compared to the other. UGH.
Any tips for coloring/shading?
Stick with the light source, be careful on how you make the shadows, ALWAYS vary the hue depending on how light or how dark particular areas are (and for which material!), how the material reflects and looks under any circumstance..
How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Some pixel art projects usually take a few minutes, if not an hour or so. The Levi Dragonuv and Ryan x Meret pic took a few hours. Some pixel art projects (like the Romoroth not displayed yet) can take far beyond mere weeks.
What music do you listen to while you draw?
Usually it's from other games, but I might pop on some pop, techno, rock, rap, something like that..
Your favorite drawing utensils?
As far as traditional art goes, I tend to go with the pencil.. Digital? MOUSE.
Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
I never considered this one, uhm.. You could say yellow and blue are used a lot.
Your favorite style(s)?
I love how Meesh, Miu, Straydog, Gami Cross tend to draw their characters. However, I would never match up to them if I tried - I lack the will power.

Posted 16 years agoFurAffinity is a cute little site, I admit - the people (Vast majority? Dunno.) are a tad more open about things than you would find others being about, but that's fine with me, I'm used to them being somewhat creepy at times, heh.
I'm not sure how much of my pixel art I can actually upload on here - the second I upload a work, it's quite quickly bogged down by other artists. Ah well, can't blame them from wanting to show off their own works too, now can I? ^_^;
