Best news is my mom is out of the hospital after knee replacement surgery and now resting at home ahead of schedule ^_^
While visiting her earlier her surgeon came in (found out he's in the top 10 listing for this surgery) and asked "You want to go home today?"
Us: O.O
Mom: "YES!"

So that is done and now just the recovery and therapy sessions to go now and if she keeps up the fast improvements should be done with that and moving about better than ever soon :)

DerpyDooReviews is the person in question claiming to not know who she was (hmm where did you get a reference from then) and that her own character is not her own property and so on.

So if I semi vanish in the near future it is only as a bunch of things have come up that may need dealing with in one for or another.

My mom has been having problems with her leg and right now the doctors are debating on knee replacement for her soon. My uncle (her youngest brother) has just started going into chemo for liver cancer and has already had a couple scares but seems better now.

Now to today, just get told that her other brother has just been diagnosed with kidney, bladder and prostate cancer and will probably end up having all those removed and more than likely have to go through chemo as well. Right now it is just a waiting period until everything is decided and started upon so sit and wait time.

Needless to say if I vanish for a bit it is just dealing with family things and just hoping for the best outcomes.

Way back in the early days I had a gig as the Winged Tiger a graphic novel character and got the chance to mascot around the globe a bit as him. From there decided to have my own guy and came up with go figure a tiger named Sallah (yes from Indy :-P ) he kinda faded out as moved to Blaez and then many others.

Well looks like I'mma be a tiger again :)

So Boulder Basin is right out due to the Silver fire that messed up the road heading up.

Joshua Tree it is and of course summer decides to actually get here. Oh well temps are no death bad and should be pretty empty with schools starting and the fact its gonna be hot this weekend. One way or another it is nature time and camping out under the stars. Persieds may have peaked but there should still be some activity as the shower is not officially over yet.

So camping trip is already up in the air as there is now a huge fire starting at the base of the mountain where the campground is. Road is closed heading up and who wants to be at the top of something that is burning 7,000 ft below anyway.

5,000 acres so far and that was doubled from the 2,500 in just less than a hour. *Begin frantic panic mode* Everything else is either booked, closed or on fire. Looking at doing Joshua Tree as it is do-able.

So much is going to be going on starting this weekend with D23, then camping trip up on Black Mountain near Idyllwild then off to Dragon Con once more and then Rainfurrest not to long after that. Fingers crossed that planned costuming gets done for everything as I have three things in various stages of being done ,one I need to figure out exactly how I want it to be costumed before I start cutting into a existing outfit for it.

Need to plot out what to bring to Dragon Con beyond the OMG LET IT BE DONE IN TIME outfit *hint AC and its not the con* and whether or not to bring my Mando armor again as it needs a bit of repair. Rainfurrest has a secret planned along with something Tally and me kinda have set for it because of the theme name ^_^

Now to get that Tardis working so I have time to finish everything...

Off to San Diego for Comic Con!
Will be there from preview night until they toss us out on Sunday. Going to have a couple of friends down that have never been to it before so looking forward to seeing them both again and blowing their minds with this con.

I never thought I would find anything worse than Passkey for booking hotel rooms until today.

New system that FC is using/being forced to use has now surpassed Passkey in fail. After a hour was finally able to get in to make one room reservation. Bonus is it turns out this is supposed to be a better?? part of Passkey >_<

Now to see if I can find good roomies to fill the room with as my regulars are not going this time. If I can't fill it after dealing with the hour long mess may end up having to just cancel the room after all that.

Heading out tomorrow morning to visit  talutie and do crazy random things in ye olde state of Arizona. She won't let me go to the Grand Canyon as I want to see if I can fill it in like Bugs Bunny XD but have other crazy things to do.

Dang last time I was out there was for Boo at the Zoo at least 4 years ago or so.

New car unlocked!
Shiny new Edge now lives at my house. Feels so weird having a new one after being in the same old car for 23 years.

So my car has decided to screw me over once more and this time I can't fix it.

Worst timing as I am not in a good place to get a replacement but I must and the only way I can think of to recoup certain losses from this year is selling off one of my suits. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5187235/ is going to be going up soon on ebay and hopefully will be able to pull in enough to cover what I am going to have to outlay this weekend.

Certain things were already committed to which puts me in a bind unless I get a good deal off it. Also will be putting up a unused Bear in the Big Blue House costume from the Disney Store and a couple of Realms of Enchantment suits up (fox and tiger) both unused from a project that didn't occur. I need to get pictures of those as they have been in storage since they were acquired by me (were for a Animal Kingdom event that panned out and I ended up with them from the park). Both are basic mascot type but fairly nice (the tiger is really pretty and kinda hate to let him go) from the now lost Realms of Enchantment makers also known as Darkstone

So managed to break my finger and smash up the joint on another. Stupid accident pushing stalled car off road, managed to slip and fall going up into a driveway and had the rear wheel go over my hand. So two fingers in splints, scrapes and bruises on my shoulder and general just hurting. Right now so want to bend those two fingers as its driving me nuts. On a plus note the dictation function under Mountain Lion makes it so much easier to post things without having to type.
