General | Posted 17 years agoOk looks like I may be able to pull off a weekend run for FWA
I can snag a red eye Friday and get in 6am Sat morning then stay until Mon and split in the afternoon.
So besides Logan (as he's been waaaaaay wanted) what other should I bring. It's going to be just Logan and one other suit so make a suggestion :)

Next up for me Dragon Con and if you have never heard of it I shun you *ker shun!*
Kidding but seriously https://www.dragoncon.org look it up and if you've never gone two words
DO IT!!
It's sci-fi, fantasy, comics, gaming, celebrities and more. Been to a fur con and seen or been part of the parade? Dragon Con has one too but it takes place not in the hotel but out on the friken streets!! With people lining the streets cheering for you just because you are there. This con is all about the costuming. You name it its there from nameless Henchmen, Robocop, Pirates, Harry Potters, Star Wars, Battlestar, pick anything and you will probably see it.
When you have the celebrities wanting to take YOUR picture heck leaping tables to do so as well as almost take out the others at the table they were sitting at (Brent Spiner almost killing Johnathan Frakes last year and there are pictures to prove it!).
Expect a ton of pics after Labor Day when this takes place :D

Been offered a chance to do something that is not going to be happening anytime soon. You know I like Star Wars and suiting and have had the chance to do both at Celebration IV out here in Los Angeles http://pics.livejournal.com/blaez/gallery/0001ckhw . Well the next Star Wars Celebration event is going to be this July 19th -21st and...
It's in JAPAN!!!
So what does this mean you ask?
Well throwing RMFC totally in the trash for one and may have to pull out of AC but am not going to count that out 100% just yet. But if I do I am sure you can understand why I would. AC comes every year, this only once and I have always wanted to visit Japan and this is the perfect opportunity XD.
Going to be joining my friend Brian (a few of you met him at Dragon Con and the main reason we have so many pics from that) as he is involved with the fanclub and has been doing cons for Lucasfilm for some time now. Best part is Lucasfilm is going to be paying for the room, we just have to get a flight. Plan to go in on the 12th and do sightseeing and yes of course have to hit up Tokyo Disneyland. Bonus is Brian is japanese and can speak it so it should make things go fairly smooth.
So I hope you can live without the "professor" for one con if I have to drop AC in favor of this but Jedi Blaez in Japan will be huge.

General | Posted 18 years agoLost my little girl today. Sweetest little yorkie ever Cupcake lost her fight with her diabetes and a kidney infection. Going to be a bit absent for a bit as it hurts too much right now.
