So I'm 40 now lol
Posted 12 years agoBeen a while. Life tends to drag me away from here now and then but I always come back. Turned 40 last March too, woohoo! I made it! Kinda like winning one of those Ironman races. You've fought hard to get there and you feel every mile.

Posted 14 years agoSorry to have dropped off the site for a while, been way busy. Started a new job, moved into a new house in a new state, things have been hectic as hell. Have missed several of you, mostly probably the ones who will actually read this ^ ^
Paypal *ragequit*
Posted 14 years agoApparently in their vast universal wisdom, Paypal decided it would be in my best interests to sign my account up for their credit card service without my approval. Any transaction my account makes must go through said Paypal credit card service -even when- I opt out of using it as my primary (this was proven, not an opinion, and confirmed by a Paypal consultant over the telephone). Needless-to-say, I cancelled the credit card and will not be using Paypal again. I'm not so financially secure as to ignore this sort of behavior on their part.
Oh, it cost me $30 to pay off the balance Paypal had placed on the Paypal card without my consent along with a fee for my cancellation processing. Nice scam you got going on over there Paypal ><

Good grief people
Posted 14 years ago..Honestly, I really get tired of the adoptable bashing. What does every artist on here wish to receive from a commissioner? A reference. There's a TON of people with ideas and creativity who cant draw to save their lives. We're here on FA because we love art (the mature members of our community anyways, I won't speak for the fappers). If you are without a reference and you really wish you could buy commissions, an adoptable is a ready made way to have a ref on hand to get that pic from your favorite artist who've you have always wanted to hire but lacked a ref to do so.
Plus it does take a great deal of thought to come up with creative designs to create adoptables, even if a generic template is used. Artists have a lot of ideas and adoptables are a great means of experimentation in the exercise of color design and patterns. I've seen more adoptables with fantastic patterns than I have ever seen on most plain-Jane OC's.
