Uploaded my son's few pics...
General | Posted 2 years agoAgain, deepest apologies for dumping a dozen eggs into your coffee, and tail smacking you in the face, gravity is not my best friend....
I mean, for uploading low-res pictures, but my kid is still learning how to create digital artworks (he's 17yrs old, self taught).
I for one CANNOT talk, because my first attempts at digital drawing were rough.
I'll probably upload as he progresses over time, as he ha already came a LONG way.
What am I doing, aside from breathing fire into your dinner while you soak in a tub of butter, you may have NOT asked?
Yes, I am still writing. Two flavors for those who are interested.
Yes, I am working on a graphic novel to post online.
Free. Though the graphic novel is planned to be an omnibus in the end (OMG my hands- but I want to leave SOMETHING before I dip off world).
Book: Its a complete rewrite, descriptive, some illustrations.
Graphic novel: All fun, fun to look at, read, to the point.
Rating? Bad. All bad. Adult language/situations. But tame compared to what's out there.
No poopers into your washing machine here-
Just zombie drug head lemurs, pretty boy fox/jackal prince still up to his shtick, an energy draining lady and her cockroach drag queen hero.
Completion time? Hopefully before summer/fall of 2024.
Um... You read this far? THANKS!
Reward????? Um... Cookies? Can never go wrong with cookies.
Unless they were baked by coked up hamsters wearing blindfold while dancing in a pot of cooking oil.

I STILL exist....
General | Posted 2 years agoBlah blah blah, insert words of heroism and junk, bouncy fat rat balls and curly whiskers.
Weird irony though, my baby boy (now 17yrs old, jeez time flew) became a budding furry artist.
I'll probably post his art here or over at Deviantart, since its tame.
He draws mostly feral cat characters (think Warriors, but with magical powers and swords).
Weirder is his style is almost like my own, but the eyes are drawn differently.

What a time for a dinosaur lover to be alive!
General | Posted 6 years agoOn one side you have Beasts of the Mesozoic's Kickstarter going featuring the most neglected dinosaurs to ever grace toy isles, the Ceratopsians. I mean yeah, they've been made before... But are usually built with five points of articulation, colored like elephants/rhinos/melted crayons. Thank you BOTM for creating these!
Next up? The Tyrannosaurs!!! Link to Kickstarter below:
https://www.kickstarter.com/project.....?ref=user_menu
And of course Mattel's "Amber Collection". I'm not caring about the human figures (no offense ol' Jeff Goldblum!), give me more poseable dinosaurs!!! First up is the classic Velociraptor. Gamestop has them for sale on their website for sale, and in-store (good luck with that!). So far this thing screams for customization for many a scaley raptor! Try to ignore the amber stand looking like a puddle of piss >.> Link below:
https://www.gamestop.com/toys-colle...../11051846.html
On another side of the dark moon of emptiness, my super old Lenovo X200 Tablet that's responsible for every piece of digital art shown here since 2010'ish, finally starting to show its age. Not sure how much longer it'll hang since drawing images with more than 20 layers choke it to near death, with fans screaming for dear life, whose backside becomes hotter than the devil's a$$. Rambling... I'm holding out for a newer machine this coming November. *cross fingers*

Netflix ‘Mowgli’ movie (Jungle Book)
General | Posted 7 years agoMovie trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVBjPpUlQrE
Off the bat- I LOVED IT.
Do NOT listen to online reviews, yes yes YES I know the animals look rough but dang- they are to represent WILD animals that live in the WILD- not healthy zoo-kept plushies from the Disney version. The jungle is hot and full of bugs- and lots of scenes had animals surrounded by flies.... because well it IS the jungle after all.
Also the CGI wasn’t that damn bad.
VERY MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD:
If one can ignore/handle the obvious human eyes/facial expressions on the animal characters.. Funny I should mention this considering where I’m posting this journal, but some reviews online complained about the anthro-faces of the characters (rolls eyes).
This is the FIRST representation of Shere Khan that I felt actual fear and tension (the scene when he laps water turning it red from the blood covering his mouth). No sassy talking proud talking kitty here- this tiger has ISSUES. He hates man... We all know this. But what he’s doing is creating chaos and imbalance within the jungle (hunting man’s cattle and man himself is a big no-no) basically stressing everyone.
Also he has a sniveling aardwolf side kick :-D
Baloo isn’t a shuffling singing happy go lucky bear- he’s OLD and been through some ghastly battles. Bagheera was far more fleshed out in this version than the Disney version. In fact I’d go along and say this movie is like the classic “Chuck Jones” version of Jungle Book. I hadn’t read the books, so there’s that.
Kaa.... Omg Kaa. The python is a female and that sweet face of hers- its anthropomorphic and just adorable. And though she’s a snake, who seem to AWAYS have a bad rap in ANYTHING, is portrayed as a anthro-snake character would behave (imao). She’s not evil. She like everyone in the jungle wants peace. But Shere Khan created chaos causing everything to go awry, no thanks to his selfish sick tiger indulgences (no offense to the civilized tigers reading this).
The wolves. These are Indian wolves, with short fur coats. I swear the momma wolf reminds me of my dog’s sister. Sweet innocent expression that makes you want to bop her nose and give cuddles. And POOR ol’ Boot!!! I think that was his name, he was very dog-like (note the curled tail).
Mowgli. He was what a human raised in the jungle would look like- if one was to survive. Rough, dirty and brutally scarred. There’s more to his character, lots more, but that ending was awesome.
INSUMMATION: Watch it for yourself. Its NOT nearly as bad as people make it out to be, since everyone is still reflecting on Disney’s live action version. Fun fact, this version was to be released into theaters, but Disney gotten theirs out first because they got the $$$$$$ to push it out sooner, thus the Netflix release and select theaters. My question is how they gonna do a live action “Lady and the Tramp” (yes, that’s gonna be a thing). Last live action Disney doggy movie was 101 Dalmatians, and they were regular dogs O.o;

Predators 2018 movie review
General | Posted 7 years ago(MINUTE SPOILERS AHEAD)
It was one of those movies you just watch with your brain switched off. Just, don't think too hard while watching it. Your head might ooze with Predator green goo in the process. That, or magically become a tame beast making adorable puppy noises (THAT HAPPENED, in the movie, not with me silly LOL).
It wasn't the WORSE movie in existence like most online reviews made it out to be. It's just that, a "popcorn-kill-time-ooooo-death" type of a movie. Yes, it had some...um...LOTS of WTF, not funny, and WHY moments. For one, the Predators aren't who we thought they previously were (ie hunters, not exactly at least). They are doing the whole 'we want Earth for ourselves' cliche thing. Because... WTF... What?
There's more, but whatever.
So, was there anything good imao?
Aside from the new Rottweiler'ish Predator dog (was two, but one got turned into a big monster puppy after being SHOT in the head, yes THAT actually did happen)- Is the big dark digitigrade legged Predator. The legs, I liked his legs and his dark coloration with those light gold eyes. I HOPE they turn him and the dogs into action figures because I am SO buying them!!!!

PS
"Ass-burger"
A term that is forever UNWANTINGLY etched into my memory >.<

Redbubble shenanigans (who does cloth posters??????)
General | Posted 7 years agoAs stated in a few recent uploads, I'm decorating my designated 'computer/chill' room and used Redbubble to help me out on this. Nothing overtly fresh or new was drawn here that hasn't been already seen; I figured I'd share the link here in case anyone else is interested. If none sell, I wouldn't care, I'm decorating the home =^.^=
https://www.redbubble.com/people/Whandirlust?asc=u
Also does anyone know who makes life-size character cutouts? Or a life-size cloth poster that doesn't cost the same as a down payment for a house? I drawn a life-size Keith poster many moons ago, like way back in 1994; but its long gone. I plan to do images of each of Rasheeda's...ahem....*bedfellows* ASAP. Because I need my own 'Gage' bed sheet like LAST DECADE <3
There was one particular website that made cloth posters I found online (mostly anime style characters were shown); unfortunately I have lost its address

Dragonheart 4: Battle for Heartfire
General | Posted 8 years agohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYq-jkFiXqA
It wasn't THAT bad of a movie...
But I will say this, as I've said since the first Dragonheart movie (and those background dragon portraits didn't help lol- watch the movie and look in the background for said portraits in Dragonheart 4, they had different kinds that didn't look like Draco) is, can SOMEONE please make a movie about the world where these dragons inhabited in BEFORE mankind came along???? I mean, have it take place right before they made (or was cursed?) to share their hearts with us problematic a$$ humans. What were they doing before they made this pact? They can't go to their 'dragon heaven' unless they help one of us? Better yet, punch the wisest of the dragons for even coming up with this idea. Call this movie "Dragonheart 5: before we shared our hearts with those damn dirty apes" or something.
Also, its funny how the sequels seem to have scripts written to keep the dragon's appearances down to a minimum (ghost dragon spell whatever in Dragonheart 3). This time we have constant background noise of [now Drago], breathing. I would imagine a dragon's breathing would be pretty loud considering their size in this movie... Or do you dragons have asthma? Poor fellows... *runs to pet a dragon*.

Kubo and the two strings (AWESOME MOVIE!!!!)
General | Posted 9 years agoOmg this one hit home for me REALLY F*CKING HARD.
I am literally recovering from the BREAK DOWN I had about the ending. Emotions aside (my parents are deceased, explaining why I am drying up my tears as I type), this was something fresh. Not a sequel, not a updated old formula, beautifully animated, OMFG why didn't get more recognition?!!! I LOVE this movie!!! I like movies that I can't predict the next scene, this one I couldn't, at ALL. And how they treated the proverbial 'bad guy' was (about F*CKING TIME) something better.
Otherwise, awesome movie. I highly recommend this one.

"Storks" movie (flashes of parents, one is a gay couple)
General | Posted 9 years agoActually pretty enjoyable for me, I loved it.
I won't go too deep into details, but OMG the ending made me emotional. There's a brief moment when they showed different couples receiving babies all over the world, and when they showed the gay and lesbian couples receiving babies- I GOT TEARY EYED!!!!
Like OMG ABOUT F*CKING TIME!!!!! Bravo! Bravo!!! Get with the times cartoons, we need MORE of this!
And those wolves... I LOVE those wolves!!!!

Graphic food orgy lol (Sausage party)
General | Posted 9 years agoNeed I say more? Anthro-food f*ck fest. Hetero, gay, lesbian, it had it all lol!! Even had graphic murder scenes of humans- now THAT surprised me more so than the graphic, and I mean graphic, orgy scene.
Good overall message though, if you can look over the word F*CK uttered a gazillion times.
Otherwise, it was a fun movie. Something a bit different for a change in the sea of remakes.
-BT
PS
Speaking of remakes, Disney is making a live-action movie of "Beauty and the Beast" for 2017.
And I am SURE they still won't make a worthy Beast action figure. But golly gee whiz got a crap ton of Belle dolls!!!! ARGH!!!!

Disney's Pete's Dragon toys!!!
General | Posted 9 years agoThis is 2016. WHY IN THE HELL ARE THEY STILL MAKING TOYS LIKE THIS?!!!
If someone out there works for Disney, there is no excuse for this. You got the funds, be the FIRST to give us a proper dragon figure! I don't care if he's a big green fuzzy Winnie the Pooh Tiger looking thing, still, we need a proper dragon figure. I am still deeply hurt by that abomination Smaug action figure released years back, which could have been the KING of all dragon toys in history. But alas, we get junk
Everyone and every-dragon, bow your heads and prepare to see, our first offering of Elliot, of Pete's dragon, action figure. Behold, the green cat vomit horror awaits thee...
http://www.toysrus.com/product/inde.....:86564396:TRUS
Yea I know its just a toy. But it could have been a better toy. Is it some sort of a conspiracy to make a super articulated dragon??? I mean, DRAGON?!!! I'm hoping there is more being released to this franchise. Come on Disney, you GOT the $$$ to make better action figure toys. Those Jungle Book toys? We shall not bring up those atrocities. No wait, see for yourself:
http://www.toysrus.com/graphics/pro.....5989enh-z6.jpg
In other news, "Beasts of the Mesozoic" was WAY over funded and a big "HEY WE WANT BETTER" non-anthro TOYS DAMMIT. The interest (and $$$) is out there.
Here's to hoping for other toy companies to follow. The next set of dinosaurs will be the Ceratosians (triceratops). To those who missed out on the Kickstarter, the creature of the raptor figures will sell them on his website. ALSO to those who want figures of their own raptor fursona, said creator is offering a 'build-a-raptor' sets, where you can paint and assemble the raptor to your liking.

Not going anywhere, but damn...
General | Posted 9 years agoAfter going through gallery after gallery after gallery of (insert furry website) coming and going, this changed, ToS changed, that changed... I'll just continue to linger and update whenever I have the time as usual here on FA.
About to re-upload the few pics I had up since those were removed when the FA went down.
And like others I dabbled in the new 'Furry Network' website (link below, but I doubt I'll update it much).
FYI I update this and my Devianart gallery (same name as here) usually at the same time. But the most feedback/comments I receive are from here (thanks by the way, it really helps in encouraging me to draw new stuff, seriously, otherwise I just doodle unfinished junk at home).
Here's to hoping FA can hopefully ONE day make their website more...modern? Updated UI? Updated anything?
Funny whenever FA crashes a flashy new Furry art gallery hosting website sprouts out of no where... Coincidence?
Last but not least the "Furry Network" link to my page- it has nothing yet- I hate reuploading over and over. One day I'll update it with all what's been done recently. Otherwise you can follow if if you like; if not, thats okay too.

Calling all raptor furries- BEST VELOCIRAPTOR TOY EVER >.>
General | Posted 9 years agohttps://www.kickstarter.com/project.....re/description
Stumbled across it online and was amazed.
I see I am not alone- dinosaur action figures suffered greatly over the years. Outdated. Stiff as a board. Boring- but colorful at times. But bottom line OUTDATED and STIFF. Did I mention outdated and STIFF? Here's looking at you JP4- those figures were just bleh!!!! I wished Neca would had picked up that license... Or SH Monsterarts...
There is so much lost opportunity when it comes to action figure dinosaurs.
I long for a large scale 30+ points of articulation theropod (t-Rex) dinosaur; or even any of the sauropods (diplodocus) or the always neglected ceratopsians (triceratops). These raptors will do nicely for now. They are gorgeous!
Pass the word out to others who love dinosaurs. More of this NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!!!

RIP Prince (my character Gage's inspiration)
General | Posted 9 years agoYes I cried when I found out. And YES I am still crying. I am crying as I type this.
To those who followed me over the years know, that my character "Gage" was based upon and literally INSPIRED by listening to Prince on the radio one summer day in 1994. And the fact I had the hots for Prince, I listened to his music throughout my life and to this DAY.
I picked a lemur because *at the time* there wasn't no "Madagascar King Julien", much less ANY lemur cartoon character out there to be seen anywhere (this was pre-internet days btw). And Prince was always jumping around on stage in those high heels, appearing as if being agile. So I figured a lemur fits him imao lol.
I wanted a short stature character, soft spoken yet with a deep booming voice. Capable of being funny well as serious. Smirks, NEVER smiles. Tight faced. Threatening if pushed to his boiling point. Smart, clever and sexy. Agile. Old, refined yet composed. A leader. Enters Gage.
Creepy thing I dreamt about Gage not even two days ago - (who OFTEN appears as Prince circa his "Batman Soundtrack long-black-hair days" for which his design in particular is based upon) - made me sign a 'contract', smirks, and disappears like a ghost. Which was WEIRD and not something Gage would or could do. Then this happens =O.o=
Simply wow. Life is precious. First David Bowie and now this. Damn 2016.
Live each day like its your last, because you just never know...
RIP Prince

ZOOTOPIA (kinda vague spoilers)
General | Posted 9 years agoFirst off I am NOT trying to be 'that guy' or be 'hip' to go against what everyone else's opinion. Hardly the case. I was entertained by the movie. I liked it. My son kinda liked it, but he's still locked in a "Star Wars" mode right now.
Zootopia was cute. Love it? No. Liked it, YES. But Disney can make a tv movie about talking shaggy dogs unlocking doors to different dimensions and people will like it (Fluppy Dogs). That's the Disney magic
Lion King, heaven knows, I've seen HUNDREDS of times and never get tired of it. Even with part 2. I can easily recall /all/ the character names from just the first viewing... But not with Zootopia. Granted there's A LOT more faces in this movie than LK.
I didn't shed a tear in any of the touchy scenes in Zootopia. I was like "Oh that's f*cked up" and that's it.
SPOILERS AHEAD MATEY
Overall its a good story for what it is.
PLOT:
Wet behind the ears cop wants to make a difference. meets up with slick dude, who while coming off as a pseudo bad guy, really is a good guy at heart. They start to work on a case involving animals reverting to their predatorial ways. The two main characters have a little break up/argument after a misunderstood revelation. They make up with an "AWWWWWW" scene, and continue to solve the case. They solved it. And from this he too becomes a cop. Everybody's dream come true except the villain, obviously lol. End movie with Gazelle's concert you see in the trailers :3
END PLOT AND MORE SPOILERS AHEAD
One scene sorta reminded me of when Alex of Madagascar went feral and turned on Marty (which in this case between Judy and Nick, was a set up to record the confession from the true villain). Could have made said scene down right ominous had they animated Nick's eyes to become slits like a real fox. But nope. He had his forever dilated big puppy eyes.
Speaking of aforementioned villain, its the "super cutesy overlooked character is really the bad guy" cliche a-la "Hoodwinked" in this movie as well.
The predator/prey thing didn't bother me at all. Heck, I would expect some sort of strife considering all the species around...Um... *Mammal* species. Go see "Sing" it you want a movie with ALL sorts of anthro species including scalies. I would expect a world of different SPECIES would have conflict no matter how evolved they claim to be. Look at us humans, what we do to each other let alone to other species :-P
There was a scene where the leopard cop complimented Judy by telling her she was cute-
She corrected him by saying, "Only guy bunnies should say such things to female funnies; when a predator says it, its creepy." So no inter-species love to be found here in this universe guys lol.
The wolves came off as well... less than spectacular imao. Much like the Madagascar dimwitted Fossas, just not as stupid. The wolves designs were darn cuddly cute though. What was a proud specie trait (ie howling) was reduced to a catchy thing they do if one of them howl. If one howl they all stop what they're doing to howl, uncontrollably. It made the wolves come off as big, yet cuddly, jokes.
Funny how SOME of the goats/rams/sheep have TRUE to life horizontal pupil eyes, while the other animals didn't have their true eye types (ie Nick has forever dilated eyes, not cat eyes) or even Gazelle? I mean you can get away with cat eyes in a good guy character... Look at Thundercats! Or even Draco from Dragonheart. Again with foxes with non-fox eyes
Oh and there was a mention of "Its not all singing and dancing" and to "LET IT GO"; I guess Disney poking fun at itself yet again. Yet AGAIN with that phrase "Let it go". Dammit Disney, YOU let it go with the let it go lol.
Was it me or did the weasel's cgi model looked like it was a rehashed Nick model? That nose...
And no love for any good guy weasels out there, again weasels are portrayed as sneaky/bad critters.
The otters were perfect however. I SO wanted to hug miss Otterton, poor little lady.
I did like a lot of scenes, aside from the obvious sloth ran DMV; which by now is stale given how many times the trailer featuring it brought it to an early death. The natural history background scenes had mammoths as cavemen... Even had a little skeleton of a cave bunny with saber tooth cat teeth lol. Lots of little background animal jokes (weasel selling bootlegged movies, look at the movie titles) among other little Easter eggs. It was cute. Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie. I didn't love it. Just... Liked it.
END SPOILER WARNING
Given the $$$$money$$$$ it made, here's to hoping to see an INFLUX OF MORE ANTHRO ANIMAL MOVIES FOR YEARS TO COME!!!! If not a sequel, I HOPE there's a series being spawned from Zootopia. It sets a premise for LOTS of stories to come. Dammit Disney, do it.
Otherwise, I recommend it to any who likes these types of movies.
However I wished I'd waited for it on dvd or something.

WOLF/DOG ACTION FIGURE (super poseable) Metal Gear Solid
General | Posted 10 years agoI've been out the video game loop for YEARS now.
But I know what Metal Gear Solid is... Annnnnd I remember playing the very first game eons ago. Anyhoo-
Searching online at work on break, I came across this fella from aforementioned video game.
Metal Gear Solid V, "The Phantom Pain" to be exact. D-Dog. Diamond Dog. Review here >
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmskCKFwEUA
Yea yea the doggy has a suit, but hey, its the most poseable mass produced animal figure I've seen as of late (aside from the one listed below this).
Let's hope they make a non-suit version... Or just more non-human super articulated figures period.
I have the Play Arts Kai "Red XIII" Final Fantasy VIII Advent Children figure; a gift from my fiance.
I HIGHLY recommend this figure. This f*cker has a re-position-able EYEBALL and can bare his fangs.
Review of that bad boy here >

****envisions super jointed dinosaur and/or dragon made in the near future****

"SING" (another furry movie- BUT WITH SCALIES)
General | Posted 10 years agoUnlike Zootopia who snuffed all things Scalie, Avian and others, "Sing" has them all.
And I mean all if not most creatures; even a snail. Sure it's clearly poking fun at "American Idol", though I'm glad they included ALL forms of anthropomorphic creatures- and not JUST mammals.
Enjoy! Take a look for yourself:

I is still around >.> And GODZILLA 2016 PICTURES *rawr*
General | Posted 10 years agoWork, life, eat, love, sleep, rinse repeat the next day.
Is it me or I'm like the only artist who feels encouraged to post more depending on their picture faves? Few likes = discouraged, lots of likes = encouraged. Sure I could post what gain the most views, but why draw what I really *don't* like? That alone is discouraging lol. Its just a big ball of moldy spaghetti topped with cat snot. Meh, enough of my gibberish. Anyways *sneeze*-
Here are some leaked pics of the upcoming Godzilla movie 2016 (link below).
First up, I am glad to see more Godzilla /anything/, meaning more Godzilla toys to grace my bedroom shelves (fyi I ADORE Godzilla). *SPOILER* This new rendition of big G has an "Attack on Titan" (Colossal Titan to be exact) vibe to me... Maybe that's just me...
Check for yourself--->
http://www.scified.com/godzillamovi.....n-leaks-online
But from what I understand this isn't his 'final form'. But that human EYEBALL THO =O.O=
I am hoping for a more t-rex stance Gojira as a possible final form but... who knows... *dreams*

PS
Ultraman trailer---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucHJKcH--aY

To new watchers- a heads up (and The Good Dinosaur)
General | Posted 10 years agoThough I GREATLY appreciate the new watchers, PLEASE don't watch if you are expecting lots of yiff, much less lots of new pics on a daily/weekly basis. You're lucky to see anything from a few days to a few YEARS. I scribble things here and there, perhaps something done in my free time, for friends, for kicks, or an idea itching to break out.
In summary, PLEASE DO NOT WATCH ME IF YOU EXPECT LOTS OF YIFF/ADULT ART.
UN-WATCH ME IF YOU DO.
Took my kid to see Pixar's The Good Dinosaur (WARNING MINOR SPOILERS).
The good: GOOD GUY T. REXES OMG I WAS OVERJOYED... Great scenery... And that's about it honestly.
The bad: The entire movie *felt* too short and *too* familiar. It reminds me of the first Ice Age movie, but with two characters instead of four; and with a little Lion King elements (the raptor scene was similar to LK's hyena scene even down to the line, "Do you know what we do to trespassers who come out here?" Minor complaints, but passable.
Summary? Its a good movie- not Pixar's greatest, but okay to pass along time.
BUT it has GOOD GUY T-REXES!!!!! They don't die, weren't mean at all and unfortunately didn't have much screen time. Maybe its just me, but they should've made the movie about THOSE guys instead and leave out the overused good-guy Apatosaurus/grass eater theme out.

So that infamous T-rex and Spinosaurus fight in Jurassic Park 3 was incorrect(DUH!)?!! Spinosaurus was short but very long dino. So in reality it would have been like a eagle or vulture versus a big emperor penguin?!! BEWARE THE ANGRY PENGUIN!!! Its deadlier because it is BIGGER argument is flawed lol. Thanks JP3 >.<
