I've been so fucking busy since student teaching started, but I'm enjoying every moment of it, in spite of health problems....

ANYWAY, on October 2nd, I am volunteering at a Light the Night event in Scranton PA. I will be painting faces. I joined my roommate's team in memory of a 15 year old boy who passed away in 2006 to Leukemia.

I am in every position right now to beg for donations for myself, but as down as I feel about my life sometimes, I know there are people out there who deserve more than I could ever ask for. So if you can find it in your heart to even just spare a dollar, please donate on my page! I have set a goal for $300. It's a little steep, but it never hurts to reach high!

If you haven't noticed, I have not mailed out commissions yet. My boyfriend has officially moved out of his home which means I had to as well. I spent the past two weeks working at both jobs, getting everything together at home, and moving it all here. I was also commissioned by my second job to redesign their menus and what not, so that sort of had a deadline. I am going to be running to the post office with all completed commissions today. Thanks for your patience guys! <3

So my computer is riddled with viruses and I cannot figure out how to get my laptop to recognize my scanner even after downloading everything. I've never just mailed out commissions without scanning them first so this is hard for me to do but - I will be mailing all finished commissions either tomorrow morning on on Monday morning. I am so very sorry for disappointing you all with the unnecessary wait. I have no excuses other than my own selfishness. PLEASE note me addresses if you have commissioned me. I just successfully installed the necessary software for my scanner. After work today I will scan what is completed. I apologize for the delay on commissions, I started a second job last week and have been working every single day. I am exhausted needless to say... Also, my car repairs have sky rocketed with everything the mechanic is finding wrong... I am feeling awfully hopeless at the moment but I am busting my ass at my jobs to make good tips to cover my bills and everything else... Keep your eyes posted of the course of the next few days for your commission to pop up under your daily submissions! I love all of you for your understanding and patience!!!

So today my car broke down. I need a new catalytic converter, and these repairs aren't the cheapest. I only have $100 in my savings left over from paying last month's rent and bills. I never beg anyone for money, only commissions, but right now I am in desperate need of money. My hours were cut dramatically at work because they hired(for no good reason) 6 new servers, and I have only been working 3-4 days a week, and the other days, I've been searching for a second job. I finally found one, but now I don't have a reliable source of transportation to get there. To make matters worse, I am currently at home with my boyfriend. But because he's so great, he's going to lend me his bike and drive me back to Kutztown tomorrow when he gets off work. I want to get my car fixed as soon as possible, because I can't risk not keeping this second job. I feel like I'm drowning in all of this financial bullshit. I am either always breaking even or coming out the other end with less money than I had. I can only afford cheap cars right now and I guess this is part of that sacrifice. I just want to be able to breathe.

I went to scan pictures two days ago to find that my software for my printer has gone missing. I believe I had my laptop reformatted towards the end of the school year. I did attempt to download it from the internet and ended up with a stupid virus. If you are desperately curious to see your commission, send me a private message with your email address so that I can email you a phone-picture of it. If not, I should be able to get things scanned within the next week if not sooner. I really apppreciate everyone's patience with this matter <3

Just wanted to inform my commissioners that I just took my Praxis 2 exam today to be certified for teaching. I spend the majority of this past week studying, so not much progress has been made in the way of commissions. I am moving (officially) back to Kutztown tomorrow evening... And from there I will be able to scan what I have completed.

I'm going to miss home... :(

So I contacted my employer, and they will not be needing me until June 14th. So that is two more long weeks without making money. I've got just about all of my commissions done at this point (I will scan them as soon as I can get my paws on a scanner), and so I am opening for more! Same deal as before... $15 for a single character, full body commission done in ink.

All money is going toward my medical bills, gas to drive between my hometown and Kutztown, food, and car insurance. I appreciate your help guys!!! <3

So I'm not entirely sure where to begin... I'll preface this journal by saying that I am in desperate need of financial assistance right now. There's been quite a few changes in my life and I need money to help things continue to move smoothly. This is not a cry for donations, but a request for commissioners...

I had a surgery performed back in February, a diagnostic laparoscopy for endometriosis, and upon this diagnostic procedure, endometriosis was found and removed. This surgery was extremely expensive and while I received a considerable amount of assistance from my twin sister and her artist companions online, I am still in the hole so to speak. I paid half of the medical bills thus far, but there are many more bills piling up...

I have car insurance due in June, I am moving into an apartment next week, and I have to start repaying one of my student loans in the next week or two. My decision to move out of Chris's house is to practice independence and to be closer to my job at school where I make a decent living. But I am very concerned with how things are going to work out. I have about $200 to my name right now, and these bills looming ahead in the near future are really making me scared. Not to mention, my financial aid is going to be effected differently this school year because I am a fifth year student and I'll be graduating in December as opposed to May.

On top of busting my ass at work back in Kutztown, I've reconsidered my absence from the furry-fandom. I haven't had time for artwork in awhile, but since it's summer, I can re-evaluate my priorities and once again do artwork for money. I am also working on some crafts that I hope to be able to sell on furbid/buy or on livejournal.

I'd like to open for some commission slots. While going through my art folders, I found some commissions I never mailed out. I will do my best to contact these commissioners, but if you are reading this journal now and know that I have something of yours, please contact me asap via email: killedthespy@gmail.com with your current mailing information so that I can get your art out to you!!!

I am going to do my best to complete all of my standing commissions(and scan them) before I depart for Christmas break here on Friday. And after that, I am going to take a break from the fandom. In all honesty, I have been too busy for art outside of class. I haven't drawn anything for myself in quite a long time, and the fandom, while still entertaining and I love the artwork, is not hitting the mark for me anymore, at least not in a way that inspires me to draw. So I'm not sure how long this art break will last, but do not expect anymore uploads from me, at least not until 2010. Between work and starting to student teach, time is very limited. I thank everyone for their loyalty and for always having kind things to say to me. I will be around, commenting on artwork, but I shall be nothing more than a lurker until further notice...

Hey everyone.. I know I've been asking so much of everyone lately regarding Sammy in the contest. It feels as if, as soon as there's some sense of relief that the contest is coming to an end, something else happens. The Oprah Winfrey show has been canceled; I'm not going into why, but now everyone in the competition is back at square one. This is where I'm asking for all of your help for one last time.. (hopefully). I wanted to know if several people could post on the blog here: http://cutestdogcompetition.com/blo.....r-favorite-do/ about why Sammy should win. Most of you know why I've entered my dog, and why I need the money(she needs the money to move into a bigger apartment that allows pets, and to fly her dog from Ohio to Pennsylvania where she lives now). However, I'm not sure how much of my story the judges know, and they're the people that my story needs to have an impact on, since Sammy has fallen way behind and is now in last place in regards to the voting.

Please don't post anything about the other contestants or dogs, just something short and sweet about why I should be in the top 4.
