So I'm sitting here and I decide to load up Pokémon Go before I have to sleep for the evening, just to see if anything is nearby. Then...Heart attack happens.

THIS shows up and I BOLT out the door in my pajamas! I'm running all over the place trying to find it, and eventually it starts getting closer...and then it appears! I am the ONLY person there! Well 30 ultra balls later...

And success! Heart was racing and I was begging this thing not to run away but I did it! Also out of breath now. I can't believe it...the luck of that happening nearby my own house? Yeah, I'll never complain about my crappy egg hatches again lol

For eggs, it is GOD AWFUL. I have probably gone through about 24 5km, and not gotten much at all worth while. So many Paras and Oddish and Nidorans and other worthless things I can catch on any given day and I have no need to evolve them either.

HOWEVER...my wild pokemon luck? THAT seems to be amazing! I've had a slew of nice wild pokemon ranging from Magnemites and Koffings and Horseas and other randomly harder to find ones. And then recently, it's been amazing.

Two days ago on a walk I actually stumbled right into a freaking VENUSAUR just out of no where...used a ton of balls...actually managed to catch it. Heart was pumping from that (darn this game lol)

Then today on the way home from work...a Ninetails appeared on my radar. No idea where or how far, because the radar has been messed up from their last update. So I'm blindly walking around in the hot sun for about 20 minutes going from closer to further and wandering around until finally it appeared. Used up all of my 17 Ultra Balls, about 35 great balls, and probably 50 Razzberries...but I caught it. Wanted a Ninetails out of ANY current Pokemon. I never thought this game would be so addicting XD

Also good for keeping you in shape! So much walking! Also....go team Mystic! Mwahah >:3

So after having a FLIP phone for nearly 7 years, this has been my incentive to finally upgrade to a smart phone (that, and the fact that old phone was starting to fall apart)

So yeah, right now my free time is being taken over by the urge to train, catch, evolve, hatch, and take over gyms. Have to say it's pretty neat walking with random strangers in the pursuit of Pokemon lol

It was an AMAZING year! While I couldn't do anthrocon more than a week, I could never get tired of seeing all my best friends. The hardest part of every year is having to say "See ya later" to everyone. It so damn hard to do that, but the memories are always forever!

Bought a nice little collection of awesome things, got to hang out with the most awesome people in the world while watching some hilarious hentai, and got to run around the convention as Link! We even managed to hit every night of the rave, which was both awesome, and exhausting XD

It was a great year, and I hope everyone had a fantastic time! Also remember...LET'S BOARD ELEVATOR E!!! *Plays Let's Do The Time Warp* :D

Yeah, I'll be there! Had to shift work around quite a bit because of the darn holiday, but I'll still be able to make it!

There will be so much frustration and excitement...hitting your head against a wall until the wall finally breaks (in a game!) is just so amazing! Plus, the mention that Dark Souls 3 will be closer to Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne is awesome news. Dark Souls 2 was good, but it felt a bit too...guided.

Either way, this will be something that takes up my time come the 12th. I am so ready to praise some more sun XD

Once again I am sucked into the new viral thing of fun XD

When life organizes itself, and things fall into place...but everything still feels so messy and complex! Mainly in that I've been getting so much done as of late between writing, art and organizing plans, but at the same time, it feels like I've not accomplished much at all! Just so....strange!

On a side note, I randomly feel like I've just been a rather lame friend too. By that I mean I always feel as if I'm lazy when it comes to friends. I wish I could draw for them more. I always have ideas I'd LOVE to do for my awesome little posse, but I just...never get around to it. Perhaps it also ties into this time of year. I ADORE Autumn, but there always seems to be this lingering, annoying atmosphere that heads the shifting front :c

Not gonna bother with a meme, since it's usually the same stuff, and the people I'm hanging out with obviously know who they are! If they didn't know who they are, then I'm possibly confused, which is actually normal, so all is good!

Either way, I'll be attending once again this year! I actually think this is year 8 for my group and I. Obviously if you're looking for me, my badges will give it again, or look for the slightly nerdy looking guy with the grey tail, or Pickles tail (green and white!) I'll pretty much be all over, hanging with friends, exploring the city, and just in general having a fun time! No Art stuff though, as I'm there to do things I CAN'T do from home XD

Finished with week three of my new job, and the anxiety is starting to lay off again (like I knew it would, but it's amazing how your brain never believes you on that)

All in all, the new job is great. The work is much less stressful, the pay is better, the people I work with are amazing, and there are really no negatives. Only thing I need to settle is getting my owed vacation hours from my previous place of employment. Summary being the new manager I left there is being a bitch, and dragging her feet on the issue, which is why I made a call to the Union today to have them handle it. Oh the joy of making that phone-call loop over and over!

I've been getting back into art a little more here and there, but I've mostly been putting focus on my writings again. I've actually gotten in touch with a local artist and publisher recently, and he has been helping me revamp some of my older stuff. Also been making some alterations to the main story side of Echo Knolls.

With my mind getting settled into things again, I'd like to leave another thank you to every one, especially all my awesome friends! Everyone grab a slice of your favorite pie and dig in! Why? Because pie is amazing C=

So time for another update.

Week before my new job, I was feeling rather good. As most of you saw I got some art done. Well, then Tuesday came, and I had my first day. My anxiety all started to come back. Mind has been racing, stomach has been in knots, and I've been tired from all the overthinking. The new job is actually very nice. Less demand, more help, and all the people are really nice, yet I'm still managing to make myself sick over it.

I know I've mentioned it before, but I've always fought with anxiety, since about age 5. So while I know starting a new job is stressful and takes time to adjust to, the anxiety does make it worse for me. I have been to the doctors, psychiatrist and therapist, so I have the medication to help and the encouragement, plus the support of friends and family. GAD (General Anxiety Disorder) is really a crap thing to have to fight with when it flares up. I know I'll eventually settle into this new place and be fine, but in the mean time....oye.

Mostly just venting this out, if you read and have feedback, awesome. If not, thanks for sticking around regardless!

Just an update.

I might be very scarce on here for a little while. A lot of things are going on in my life right now, or so my mind seems to think. My anxiety has truly been wrecking hell on me, to the point I'm in the process of taking a medical leave from work. Bottom line being is that things are happening, and until they get sorted out I will more than likely not be posting art for a bit.

I'm hoping I can get this all in check, but...no idea how long that will be.

Okay, first let me start off by saying MY FRIENDS ARE THE MOST AWESOME PEOPLE IN THIS ENTIRE WORLD!!! I LOVE YOU ALL TO DEATH FOR EVERY LAST BIT OF SUPPORT YOU HAVE GIVEN TO ME THESE PAST FEW WEEKS!!!! ;-;

Secondly, I haven't been on FA or much of anything outside of Skype the past week or so. Along with everything else that had been happening between work and my father, last Weds my laptop finally decided it had had enough and died. My uncle came over, found out it was the display/screen, and it wouldn't be worth fixing. So thanks to some help by someone awesome, and the last of my savings that I had to withdraw, I was able to order a new one...which just arrived today! Finishing setting things up, and it's running beautifully! Though I still have a few things to setup.

My dad is also doing okay, although he's insanely nervous now about driving to work after the seizure and what had happened. Also already dealing with bill collectors calling and other things happening, especially tension in the house. I'm also trying to do my best to keep my anxiety under control, but it's not something that will go away anytime soon I'm afraid. Yay for unwanted panic attacks!

But yeah, I'm back into being online again after nearly a week without it. Hopefully soon things can start to become a bit more positive again. That was just too much happening at once and my anxiety hasn't been calm since D:

First off, thank you every one for the well wishes. I read each of them and it means a lot to see friends and watchers checking in. I figured instead of just replying to each, I'd put up a journal.

Firstly, job situation isn't improving...seems to be getting worse in fact.

More importantly though, dad is back home, though things are in just...bad positions. He's okay, or it seems, but he spent three days in the hospital for them to do NOTHING. They had planned to do MRI scan for his brain to check and see if they could find anything, but they never got to it. Kept insisting he fell even though he didn't because my mom and sister were there when it happened, and decided his MRI could wait until FEBRUARY!!! Told him not to drive for 6 months (which he can't afford to do) and keep insisting he had a stroke, when he didn't. They also labeled my sister as a smoker for some reason when she isn't. Top it all off with the fact there will be no way we will be able to afford all the bills (already exceeded $15,000 + the bills we had prior) so more than likely some form of bankruptcy is in our near future. Family is doing nothing but arguing with one another as well because of it now.

Apparently while I was at work my dad started babbling and not making sense, and soon after he fell into another seizure. He's at the hospital now, and is stable, but apparently he can't talk very well at the moment.

Wonderful news to come home to after hearing my awesome manager of 7 years is being transferred, and our hours are being cut...wonderful days.

I truly find some comments people leave about someone and their drawings amusing. I think most of them fail to remember that the art isn't done specifically for them. I don't draw with the mentality of pleasing others, unless that picture is actually FOR someone. I think they also fail to realize that I actually get a nice smile and laugh when I see comments like that, and it pretty much just spurs me to draw more of what they don't like XD

As for updates, nothing big to mention! Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix came out, and I am all sorts of giddy inside being able to play all that previously Japan only content!

I haven't messed around with a new journal lately, and honestly don't have much interest in ever updating my own personal life that often! Moooostly because unless it's something bad, there's not much to report, and I'm not keen on spewing "Woe is me" events to the open air XD

Life after this past anthrocon has reverted back to normal, andI've able to pump out quite a bit of art lately, which I've been happy with!

And after a long break period from Echo Knolls, I've finally started back up again. I am hoping to have it close to finished, if not ENTIRELY done by the end of the year, which will then let me move on to detailing and cleaning it up for publication after. That being said, the next two or so chapters will be the last I post up for public viewing, for reasons to be spoken upon their posting, both of which are kinda obvious. So if you've been reading it, you have my most sincere thanks! Many more thanks to any of you who have commented thus far! The feedback I get is truly important in helping to make Echo Knolls the best it can be!

Have to say, this was a really good year!

Oddly enough, while I didn't really do much suiting, I got to do so much stuff! Got home this afternoon, unpacked, and then just sort of flopped down to pass out for a bit from being so tired! Went to the Science Center, went to the Zoo, ate all sorts of awesome stuff, and most importantly got to hang out with the most awesome friends in the whole world! Seriously, I love you guys! Saw a few AC shows, got to browse the art, and of course buy sweet stuff!

Also got to meet some really nice people! I also want to thank those who randomly stopped me to say how much you enjoy my artwork! Really, that is like the most amazing thing I can hear while I'm there, even if I'm embarrassed as hell when I hear that. So uh, if I seemed a bit off after being told that, I'm just shy about it, and I'm probably in shock hearing that, even if I'm super happy to hear the art I post is enjoyed! XD

Overall, it was a super awesome year! <3
