General | Posted 4 months agoSo I didn't get around to a Macro March discount or a KaiJune discount due working on personal works during both those months, so to make up for it, here's a KaiJuly discount! For those know don't know, that means I'm taking macro commissions with a $10 discount!

General | Posted 6 months agoSo obviously I've been drawing bbws for years now (and that will not be changing so don't be alarmed!), but recently due to certain influences, I've begun to consider trying muscular gals in addition to fat gals (and also begun to recognize how good they look when macro). I haven't been asked to draw muscle gals much, and now I'm curious about giving these a try, NOT as a replacement for fat gals, but as another type of big gal.
So curiously then. How many of you like muscle gals? Would you guys like to see me try these too some of the time? (I'd probably try it regardless of the answer, but I'm just curious)

General | Posted 6 months agoSo now that FA is up and running again, everyone has settled back in, and I'm (hopefully) done being indecisive about my OCS (for the moment anyway), let's finally do some commissions!
By the way, I've decided to remove the "comic/soft" option since, honestly, no one was really going for it. If anyone wants to try it out of curiously, I'm still willing. It'll be the same price as comic/cel style.

General | Posted 7 months agoAnd so concludes another TFF. So how did it go? Well...
Day 1: A New Badge and Phone Charge Woes - I got there really early to beat the registration line... in fact, I got there a bit too early, as there were only about seven people in line including myself, but for once, I was at the front of the line, so even though I technically had to wait roughly an hour and half, it was still worth it. My phone got used up while waiting though because I was playing Among Us and lacked a way to charge it (I had a USB cable present, but nothing to plug it into). As I waited for my circle, I encountered
, who was in a hurry to get in on the raffle for a table in the artist alley (don't worry, he got it!). A little later, I finally met up with 
(Pin), 
(Loggy/Lu), and 
(Kuro), all of whom I hadn't seen in two years. We hung together for a bit, with Loggy lending me a portable phone charger (thank goodness) while waiting for 
(Kaze) and 
(Necrolli) as well as the latter's sister, who showed up a little later. Due to complications, Kaze's game Crushing Force had to be set up in a somewhat impractical way involving a PC Necrolli grabbed for $10... It ran about as well as you would expect a machine at that price to run. There really weren't any panels we specifically wanted to attend on the first day, so we kind of just browsed, ate, and gamed for most of the day. Speaking of browsing, I came across a dual book series about anthro dinosaurs. What a find. I can't wait to read it. I think I'm forgetting something... oh yeah, I got sandwiched twice by large or fairly large suiters, so yay~
Day 2: Bimbo Sammiches and Bad Anime - We went out for breakfast, where I got my taste of a sweet mango smoothie by Pin's suggestion, as well as an omelet (which was delicious, but frankly too small... what? I'm a dinosaur!). We hurried back afterwards, because the talk of the town on that day was the Bimbo Meet, and uh... the line for that panel was frankly horrendous, in that we couldn't really tell where the line actually was. Fortunately we at least were able to get in there. This panel was relevant because, unfortunately, there was no actual fat fur meet this time (the one who usually organizes it got sick). The Bimbo was, though, a satisfying fill in, courtesy of host
. We got to see some bbws bounce, and I got not one, not two, but three sandwiches, with Fiona herself assisting in the third one. Awww yeeeeah~ Erm, anyway, after that, I got some cute Pokemon charms (a Lugia, Salazzle, and Goodra in you were wondering. Sadly the seller didn't have Dragonite). While Loggy and Pin stayed behind, Kaze, Necrolli, Kuro, and I went out for some thai for dinner. I had spicy rice and a tall glass of wine. After leaving, I found myself confiding with Kuro about some... personal issues I was having at home. Kuro's such a deer friend (I'm not sorry). When we got back though, the effects of the wine were still there, so I had to wait a while before leaving. I passed the time by joining Kuro at a panel discussing bad animes (subjectively bad anyway. Everyone has differing opinions). Afterwards, he and I found Loggy at a sketchbook swap and I hung there for a little longer until I was well enough to leave for the night.
Day 3: Biggie Meet and Pink Chicken - The day started with me getting queasy from donuts and the parking garage I usually park in being closed off for some unexplained reason, but onto more important things. The macro/micro meet was, for some reason, on the last day. I'm not sure why, but of course, I when there. Now, usually not much happens for me here since there's not a lot of macro/micro furs in my friend circle. This time though, I was met with an unexpected surprise. I encountered
, 
, and 
, three of the first few macro/micro furs I ever came across on FA when I joined all those years ago. That threw me for a loop, but that was some of the most exhilaration I ever felt at one of these macro meets. After that, I regrouped with the others and we struggled to decide on what to eat for lunch. We settled on Popeyes, which... well... are chicken strips supposed to have pink meat? Serious question... Anyway, after that, Necrolli Kaze and I would've gone to the closing ceremony but... there was another messed up long line, so we just opted out of that and went back to the room Pin, Loggy, and Lu were staying in. Kaze headed home a short while later, but I stayed longer to game a bit with Pin, Loggy, and Kuro until I was ready to get going.
I'd put that TFF at a seven on a scale of one to ten due to the lack of a fat fur meet (even though I understand the reason why), but still, this was really what I needed, because I'll be honest... I've been a bit emotionally exhausted lately. I won't say why here, but some know why. All I'm going to say is, it's nice to feel like an individual, like myself, for a few days.
Anyhoo, that'll do it for another TFF, and now I have an important story to write for one of my characters. Stay tuned~

Explanation for Deleted Submission
General | Posted 8 months agoSo uh, some of you might've noticed that there was something I submitted back on Friday that I quickly (or relatively quickly) deleted the same night. I have an explanation for that.
So... the original plan with my little Macro March series of pics was to put up a "montage" of sorts with four pics in one and have that be the grand finale of the sequence. The thing is... it didn't translate well into writing a multi-segmented story in the description, and it resulted in a stretched "story" made of five rushed segments, and... it just didn't feel good enough. Plus I had been debating with myself over whether or not to separate the segments into their own submissions and... well, I went with the original plan, but then instantly regretted it, and I deleted the submission after an OCD moment.
But maybe it's for the better, because this gives me the opportunity to not only make some small edits to the pic segments themselves, but also take more time to write better stories for them instead of rushed small ones and squeezing them all into one. It looks better to me and it just makes more sense.
So, over the course of this week I'll be uploading each individual part with it's own story, and then I'll put up the collection pic afterwards.
So for anyone who faved the initial upload, you'll get another chance, and for anyone who hadn't seen it yet, stay tuned~!

So About Bluesky... Redux
General | Posted a year agoSo uh... I've noticed that a lot of people have vacated Twitter for Bluesky. Here's the reason why I've been slow to follow suit...
When it comes to website switching, I'm not the type of person who will do so almost instantly. I need a bit more time to consider what I'll do before I make a potentially permanent decision. Now, I'm not faulting or blaming anyone for moving to Bluesky as fast as they did, given the situation. I'm just explaining how my own brain works.
So am I leaving Twitter? Well... no. My account will remain where it is. However... due to the present circumstances regarding the site and decisions that have been made by its owner... I have decided to refrain from directly posting art on Twitter until further notice. I may still simply post Tweets with links leading directly to FA uploads, but I won't be directly uploading art there for right now, not only because of their policy additions, but also because simply posting links there means I don't have to keep OCD-stressing over errors that I can't correct, and I refuse to pay money for an edit button.
Oh, but Bluesky doesn't have an edit button either, you might say. True... but at the moment, it's also not being run by the wrong people.
So, for anyone who now resides at Bluesky and has parted ways with Twitter, I want to remind you all that I do have a Bluesky myself, which I made just in case Twitter imploded (which it's trying). I've had it for a while but haven't posted much just yet simply because I don't know where to start, as I have so many things I could upload. But, my Bluesky is there and exists, so feel free to follow me there as well if you'd like!

General | Posted a year agoWell, long story short, after the last commission batch, I wanted to do either some personal works or maybe even another YCH, only... I had a bad case of artist's block. On top of that, other dumb things happened, so I just decided to take a break from art during July to avoid burnout.
The thing is, it's important to give yourself a rest once in a while, lest you become tired of drawing, and, well, I don't want to become tired of drawing for you all as well as for myself.
There's a lot of personal art I want done. Maybe eventually I should ask what I should start with.
But in any case, I'm opening commissions later today at long last, so if you're interested, look out for that later!

General | Posted a year agoWelp, another TFF has come and gone. So how did things go? Well...
Day 1: C-C-C-Cold - I woke up really early and arrived early to get registration out of the way, but not early enough to find parking in the closest garage. Instead, I had to park in another garage one block away... the one with the giant baby face ad that everyone was joking about (really, Apple?). I was to meet up with, 
, and (as well as the latter's sister, attending her first furry con). However, as they woke up late, I had to wait a while for them. In the meantime, I attended the opening ceremony, but there was one issue: the ballroom was freezing. Yeah, I know they have to keep the room cool for the sake of the fursuiters, but even then, it felt like a bit much compared to previous years. Anyway, after that, I went to the dealers den and bought a pair of dinosaur charms (a Brachiosaurus and an Archaeopteryx) while I waited for my buddies. Eventually Necrolli and Toby showed up, and as happy as I was to see them, I was left dumbfounded by the creative, but unusual costume Toby was wearing. We then headed to the game room, and I played some Smash Bros while waiting for Kaze to arrive and, as per tradition, set up his game Crushing Force for others to play. It's honestly so cool that TFF allows him to set it up every year. Interestingly, this time he met yet another furry fighting-game developer who had set up their own game as well. Though, the room in which the game was set up was also really cold, which was baffling because the adjacent room was nice and warm. In any case, we went out for lunch (where I showed off my ability to down an entire large pizza once again) before heading back. Since most of the stuff we wanted to go to was on the second day, we mostly hung in the game room, at least until going to a sketch panel. While we waited for that, Kaze allowed me a try at drawing on his tablet. Fun fact: I don't actually use a tablet for my art. I sketch on paper, scan, and then the rest is digital. Drawing on a tablet felt strange, but Kaze thinks I did a good job at least, so that's encouraging.
Day 2: The Good Stuff - So for the second day, the fat-fur meet 'n greet and the macro/micro meet 'n greet were scheduled. At said fat fur meet, we saw some familiar faces as well as some new suiters we hadn't seen before. Also, as per tradition, I got sandwiched between two big-belled suiters. Aw yeah~ Afterwards, we went out for some spicy rice, and I proceeded to light my mouth on fire with spiciness to the highest degree the joint offered. Heading back, the others went to the game room while I got ready for the macro meet. While I waited, I decided to check out the artist's den, and I found a pleasant surprise:, with his own table! He had been passing out business scan codes last year, and now he's got a table. It's cool seeing him soar like this, so I'm happy for him. I even got a commission from him while I was at it. As for the macro/micro meet, while no one familiar to me showed up, I did get a couple of compliments on my badge, so that's something! Anyway, since the day was packed, this time I opted to spent of the night with the others to avoid parking issues.
Day 3: More Sandwiches - Ah yes, the last day of a con is always the most somber, but boy was this a helluva third day, for me anyway. The only thing we really planned to attend this day was the closing ceremony, but there was plenty of time before that. After Necrolli's sister had to leave, we ate out at Golden Corral (which was a weird experience because it was crowded, there were so many tables that hadn't been cleared, and at one point, two ladies took our seats. Ugh, well at least the food was good). Anyway, after heading back to the con center, we packed up Crushing Force, then headed down to relax a bit. While in the main room though, we came across a several more bbw suiters, and I just had to get sandwiched by them. We also met up with
(whom I was meeting IRL for the first time) and 
, and we chilled and sketched things while we talked. After a while, it was time for closing ceremonies, and once again, the room was cold, but what are you gonna do, eh? After the ceremony was over, I realized my phone was low charge, and I needed my GPS to get out of the city, so I decided to stick around longer. Then, we came across someone who we oddly hadn't encountered for the entire con until that point: 
, in-suit too. Since we were long overdue, I asked if she was all right with a squash, but since there were no soft seats, we improvised... by using the wall instead (don't worry, no bones were broken!). Kaze of course got in his hugs as well. Anyway, we then headed out of the con building to Toby's friend Cedras's hotel room, where we watched Commando while my phone charged. Oddly, I had never seen that movie all the way through until now. The only thing I had seen of that movie before that was "LET OFF SOME STEAM, BENNETT!!" Anyway, once that was done and my phone was decently charged, the guys walked me back to my car (which was still parked in the baby-face garage) because walking through the city at night by oneself is not a good idea.
Another great TFF, but my goodness, the elevators. THE ELEVATORS...
Anyway, that was fun, but now, back to work, both job-wise and commissions-wise.
Day 1: C-C-C-Cold - I woke up really early and arrived early to get registration out of the way, but not early enough to find parking in the closest garage. Instead, I had to park in another garage one block away... the one with the giant baby face ad that everyone was joking about (really, Apple?). I was to meet up with
, 
, and (as well as the latter's sister, attending her first furry con). However, as they woke up late, I had to wait a while for them. In the meantime, I attended the opening ceremony, but there was one issue: the ballroom was freezing. Yeah, I know they have to keep the room cool for the sake of the fursuiters, but even then, it felt like a bit much compared to previous years. Anyway, after that, I went to the dealers den and bought a pair of dinosaur charms (a Brachiosaurus and an Archaeopteryx) while I waited for my buddies. Eventually Necrolli and Toby showed up, and as happy as I was to see them, I was left dumbfounded by the creative, but unusual costume Toby was wearing. We then headed to the game room, and I played some Smash Bros while waiting for Kaze to arrive and, as per tradition, set up his game Crushing Force for others to play. It's honestly so cool that TFF allows him to set it up every year. Interestingly, this time he met yet another furry fighting-game developer who had set up their own game as well. Though, the room in which the game was set up was also really cold, which was baffling because the adjacent room was nice and warm. In any case, we went out for lunch (where I showed off my ability to down an entire large pizza once again) before heading back. Since most of the stuff we wanted to go to was on the second day, we mostly hung in the game room, at least until going to a sketch panel. While we waited for that, Kaze allowed me a try at drawing on his tablet. Fun fact: I don't actually use a tablet for my art. I sketch on paper, scan, and then the rest is digital. Note though, my production speed may be slower than usual, because, long story short, I'm currently in the process of starting a new job. I don't know how it'll affect my art speed just yet, but we'll see how it plays out. Just bare with me here.
In any case, same rules apply. Refer to my commissions info for prices and terms, and if you want a commission (or two), either comment, or send me a note if you already have an idea in mind!
Other than the "comic/soft" option now being a permanent addition to my commissions formats, nothing else to add really.
