General | Posted a month agoI can't begin on how fucking fun this game is, only been playing it for 4 years but I have an entire group I play with, really good people.
From Canada, Ireland and even the UK, we're a vast social community on DayZ called Calm Oasis and everyone has a special place in my heart. I'm one of the admins and head of security and I'm happy to be part of something that's changed me over the past few months.
Even got my partner to get DayZ and I finally get to show him how everything works AND I'M SO EXCITED!

Who 𝘐𝘚 Carmina Cinder?
General | Posted 2 months agoCarmina was born in south Georgia, near thr Flordia-Georgia line. She dreamed of growing her own fruits and vegetables as a child. When she was 10, she discovered a large cluster of hen of the woods mushrooms and became obsessed with foraging. As she got older, she became very well known with the locals for her charismatic charm and knowledge of foraging. She opened her local farmers market, letting others join and sell their homemade goods and homegrown produce. Her favorites were local honey comb and beautiful array of flowers from exploring nearby woods, as well as the many types of fungi and fauna. She always remembers the words of her favorite content creator, BlackForager, "Happy snacking! Don't die!" and continues to help and teach those the safety of foraging and the calm soothing effects that being in nature can have.
Many flock to see what she and new found friends have for sale every morning, everyone settling into joyous chatter and hearty laughs alongside coffee and pastries made for those just browsing and the all around ambience.
Carmina has found there's also comfort in a good book, herbal tea and sometimes an occasional joint. She invites those to her small booknook cabin and hosts barbecues, book clubs and her most favorite, scary movie nights during the -ber months. During December, she has hot chocolate and peppermint spoons with arts and crafts when it gets really cold.
When she's not being a social sparrow, she resides in sleeping a lot as well as enjoying her own spa days. She keeps her beak clean and sharp. Her days aren't always met with warmth and kindness, though, as she's dealt with a few quacks, snapping at her for ruining the peace and quiet or causing disarray during busy times of the season. The farmers market can become very crowded and overwhelming but Carmina does not let anyone step on her toes and harass her friends. She's quick witted and cunning, getting back at those who dare disrupt the peace.
Carmina loves video games and anime, many give her strange looks when she finds a Funko pop of her favorite characters and squeals with glee in a store. With how she dresses and carries herself many are stunned to find she's a huge nerd under the surface. Her biggest obsessions are survival games with open world maps and something crazy and unexpecting around every corner. DayZ is one of these games and zombies are her favorite. Anime is her second favorite brainrot, she grew up watching Dragon Ball and a few other anime.
Carmina is a reflection of myself, I love mushrooms. Cottagecore, flowers, plants, nature itself make me happy and have a nostalgic vibe to them. I love the idea of a nice cozy coffee shop or having a room with a big bookshelf, comfy couch and plants all around me. Carmina loves collecting crystals and jewelry like I do as well as self care days, doing our hair, dying it, things that would give you serotonin. She's a busty, goth gal who loves to be flirty and help others, just like me. 🤘😎
