One of my friends,
wedgekun, is struggling to keep afloat... He's already had to sell a few of his belongings to keep himself from the brink...
So I come to you guys, my watchers, please. Help him. Buy a commission from him. He's really talented, I really don't want to see him struggle this much. I've been where he is. This is the least I can do for him until I get a job myself. Please guys. Please, help him.

If this wasn't an incentive to buy this system, I don't know what is. Gotta start saving!!
They BETTER bring out Monster Hunter for the 3DS.
In Australia, the pirce is being lowered by $100 AUS.
In Europe, is is still unconfirmed.
But in Japan, It will drop from ¥25000, to ¥15000.
Not that you should buy outside your country for this game console device. But this is really interesting. However, according to another opinion, this does not bode well for Nintendo. I'm curious as to what's happening in the game industry since it seems everyone's failing left and right.

We're SCATTERED across the world. SO! I figured finally getting Xlink Kai to work would help a shitton than me going out to all the states and another continent to play with them would... Or getting them all to come to NY... SO

I'm play Parasite Eve on my PSP. Not 3rd Birthday, Parasite Eve. For the first time. I have to say, this game scares me a lot more than I thought. It may not be like Silent Hill 2 or 3, but it scared me, some of the visuals. And the hot Lesbian action that happens on a genetic level.
Should I buy Xenogears too?

Megaman Tribute entries
General | Posted 14 years agoOK, so today I actually got to see some of the entries that were going into the Megaman Tribute fanbook that's to be published by UDON Entertainment. Without a doubt, I do not think I would have made it in the line up at all. I haven't seen a more brilliant selection for fan art to be published in my life.
The quality of work that went into those fan art pieces were absolutely astounding and jaw dropping. And I'm sure there are many more pieces to be shown that are even more spectacular. I am quite happy that I had lost to these artists. They went all out and did their best to create works of art that would make Megaman fan proud. I'm just glad I didn't lose to a cake of poorly constructed marzipan. (Fuck you FFXI Fan Art Judges.)

General | Posted 14 years agoOK, for those that don't know, Final Fantasy X was one of my most beloved PS2 titles, and Squaresoft titles when I was growing up. It was beautifully written, certainly a change of pace, and it had one of the greatest lessons to offer after beating the game. Sure, the sequel didn't own up to it nearly as much, but FFX's charm was one of frail and rare beauty.
One scene in particular that I love because it's awkward, is Yuna and Tidus laughing. There are many fans of FFX that absolutely condemn this scene BECAUSE it's awkward, not considering the fact that right before, Tidus had heard some emotionally disturbing news, Auron appearing out of nowhere to tell him his father is actually Sin, and Yuna telling him that Summoners need to keep a smile even when everyone else is sad. Yuna ASKS Tidus to show her how he smiles, and he does this really awkward and forced laugh.

Now, considering how big Spira is, but how small most settlements are because of Sin; who comes at any given moment, causes things like what you saw in Kilika to happen, I think that the fact that Tidus and Yuna trying to smile, Yuna especially, while all this goes on, is a miracle. To show that hope still exists.

For the next two weeks I'm working weekdays from 9AM 'til 6.30PM. It's a paid internship, $7.25/hr. I'm interning this time at a commercial company.
The owner of this branch of the company said I'll be working freelance. I'm not entirely sure what this entails, but I can only imagine that I'll probably be working on my own. That being said. I hope I do well. Maybe in this, I'll get my inspiration back and start drawing more frequently again.
