Opening Commissions/Life issue update

The worrying news is that I'm having shit luck looking for jobs, and it's kinda stressing me out a bit. I'm trying to keep this house I just got, together with my boyfriend, and I really could use some form of income. Been looking everywhere. Still never even got a call back from McDonalds either. Yeah, I'm that desperate. xD
It doesn't help that I've never even had a job before, so my resume is pretty much empty. But I'm not stopping until I've found a job!
This is where it gets good for you guys: I'm opening up commissions. Last time I tried however, I didn't get much of a response. So I'm hoping that you guy's could probably support me a bit and help me out. So I'll start by listing what I can do.

General | Posted 15 years agoFor those of you who didn't know, Satoshi Kon, 47, has passed away.
Most of you probably don't recognize this name... And it's about damned time you all did. He was perhaps the greatest working mind in animation. His works always consisted of mind-shattering content, plot, and characters. Reaching into the very depths of one's self, and making one question their very existence, and reasoning within one's self.
He has made a few movies and one anime series. There's Paprika, an euphoric animated movie about dreams and a murder mystery, doing what Inception did, but better. Paranoia Agent, an anime concerning recent hit-and-runs and the events surrounding popular manga artist, Tsukiko Amagi. And more, Perfect Blue, Tokyo Godfathers, and Millennium Actress among all these. All of them, beautiful movies. Leaving you only wanting more. Somewhat unsatisfied, but intrigued.
Satoshi Kon's recent death was caused by cancer. Unfortunate that he suffered this and died during his last production, Dream Machine. This film would not be like Paprika, but would have drawn in the same people brought in by the allure of the mystical production.
It's a sad time right now, to have lost, who was perhaps the greatest influence and inspiration to my wanting to become an animation director... And... I'm honestly at a loss. I feel like crying. I wanted to meet this man, and now I won't be able to get the chance to...
No more new music in the animation by the ever great, Susumu Hirasawa, to the ever fitting themes that Satoshi Kon spews out like Heaven in distorted colors. No... No more.
He's gone, and that's that. Let us take a moment and mourn his death. For this is a very great loss in the animation of today.

General | Posted 15 years agoOK, so you guys know I've been out of inspiration for little more than a month, now. Sadly, it's still going on. I've got a lot to do, been stressing out about a lot of things lately and what not. volk18 and I have also applying for jobs in retail around my neighborhood.
But man, while I was out today, I happened across the manga I've been eyeing up for weeks now. It's called, "Bakuman."
Is becoming a successful manga artist an achievable dream or just one big gamble?
Average student Moritaka Mashiro enjoys drawing for fun. When his classmate and aspiring writer Akito Takagi discovers his talent, he begs Moritaka to team up with him as a manga-creating duo. But what exactly does it take to make it in the manga-publishing world?
Moritaka is hesitant to seriously consider Akito's proposal because he knows how difficult reaching the professional level can be. Still, encouragement from persistent Akito and motivation from his crush push Moritaka to test his limits!
That's the excerpt. Now for many of you who enjoy manga, I'm sure most of you enjoy Narutoenails, Shampoo, and One Piece (I actually respect this manga.), but this is different from the average Shounen Jump series you'll find lounging about in it. It's a manga about making manga. Many of you might not find that exciting, but for the aspiring comicker, this book speaks truth, and not only truth, but heavy and GREAT tips for becoming better at manga. We all want to be manga artists sometimes, but some of us want to be better than just artists drawing to be praised.
Not only does this manga talk about how to be a manga artist, it also deals with life situations as well for those who wanted to be good in Middle school. The main characters are 15, but its hard to believe these two characters are of such an intelligence caliber.
If it helps, this manga was also made by the people who made Death Note, Blue Dragon Ral Omega Grad, and Hikaru no Go. If you want to be a comicker, I seriously suggest you shell out the $10 to get this book. It's light-hearted, funny, and endearing. I hope it gets made into an anime.
While we're at it, I'll give you the 5 Qualifications to being a Manga Artist, by Ikki Kajiwara, the greatest Shounen Artist in Shounen History:
1. Never create a superficial piece of work, turn every drop of blood into ink!
2. Do not indulge yourself in the flowers of temporal popularity. Dig up the soil to spread your roots deep below.
3. Even if you attain some status, do not linger on it. If there is a choice to choose between peace and the storm, choose the storm.
4. Never cry after being defeated. Research your defeat and let it be the mother of your victory.
5. Even if you follow the qualifications, never think you are always correct, let everybody be your teacher.
This is the way to make manga. xD

In anycase, turns out I'm not doing so well in the health department. Not only am I lacking in the inspiration field, I've stressed myself out to the point of almost breaking myself in two... So again... I've gotta take a break. Boyfriend's orders... I'm actually in quite a lot of pain all over my body, so I guess I'll follow his advice. I wanna draw again though. I miss my hands touching paper, or my fingers tightly clasping the pen and drawing what I feel. Talking to nexson or volk18 as I draw. It's always so soothing, and I always felt happy. I'm gonna come back to it soon. I will...
I gotta get better and tougher.

General | Posted 15 years agoI've relocated from New York to Oregon about a week ago.
I moved out with
volk18 and we moved into a really cool apartment. Both our parents had helped us a GREAT deal, and I mean a GREAT deal. Without their help, we wouldn't have been able to live as nicely as we are now.
One bedroom, and one bathroom, we're in a secure neighborhood. The perks of this place? We live RIGHT next door to the gym, and pool. We have a large pond in the center with ducks swimming around, and we live only a couple minutes from the mall! .D
There's been a lot of shopping, and my wallet has taken some serious damage. =w =;;
Albeit, the things we bought were absolutely necessary. For a while, we didn't even have a bed! xD Only up until yesterday.
We're having a house warming party to celebrate our move out of our parents' houses and my move to Oregon.
I'll be putting up pictures soon, for now, we gotta go shopping for random shit.

I got a new laptop, and for some reason I can't even use the pan/scroll function that comes with the tablet on ANY of the drawing software I use. I'm using a Gateway NV53 laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium and an Intuous4 Tablet. And it's Bugging the hell out of me that I can't use this computer to draw on just yet. I'd planned on having something finished by the time FA came back up but it just wasn't happening. I need to get back to drawing, does any one have a solution to this problem? I'm so close to throwing a fit and saying, "FUCK THIS SHIT," and go on hiatus for another month. It's a minor inconvenience really, but it doesn't feel right when I draw. I'm feeling really uninspired since nothing is working...

OK, since I'm a Panda, and I'm not very Panda-y, I've decided to start working out, and losing this stupid thinness and try to get a little bit bigger. I know there have been people telling me that I look fine the way I am. Yeah... It's really nice knowing that there are people who appreciate my appearance as I am now, it really is. But it's a personal thing that I want to overcome. I don't like being so small, thin and frail. I wanna be big like all the bears that I admire. It's really hard to maintain my stance, and for me to even be brave if I'm not big enough to even take a hit. I'm strong, but I have no real endurance. So I want to BearUP and change myself, physically, and mentally. I'll be stronger.
My aim is 210 lbs. I'm 150 lbs right now.
Please, wish me luck.

UGH, I should've started packing yesterday...

Sorry I've not been arting lately, fellas. ^^;;
volk18 finally came over, and I've been really happy for the entire week. xD
I haven't disappeared. I've been sorting out different computer things and haven't even been able to get on MSN.
I actually just got a new laptop today, HOORAY!! It's been really awesome! Volk picked it out and my dad bought it. It's been going really well. I don't know what else to say. My friends, and family all like him, and it just makes me really happy. I don't need to distance myself at all, nor do I need to have to run away anymore.
I'm truly happy. The only thing to do now is face life's hardships, and get a PERSONA, HOSHIT. No srsly. It's been really good, and now we just have to face life together. No matter how hard it gets.

volk18 finally came over, and I've been really happy for the entire week. xDI haven't disappeared. I've been sorting out different computer things and haven't even been able to get on MSN.
I actually just got a new laptop today, HOORAY!! It's been really awesome! Volk picked it out and my dad bought it. It's been going really well. I don't know what else to say. My friends, and family all like him, and it just makes me really happy. I don't need to distance myself at all, nor do I need to have to run away anymore.

Thanks everyone. Thanks for wishing me a happy birthday, today (Born July 1st 1989). It's really sweet of you guys. I hope that with this new age, I'll be able to draw a little better. xD

In any case, not much is gonna happen today, it's my 21st, but the real party's gonna be on the 4th. xD I'm just gonna stay in today and draw. I'm waiting for my mate to come in on Saturday and spend my burfdeh with meh. ^^

The guy on my right was a flaming queer. xD The guy on the left wasn't too bad though. There were 2 other guys, I thought they were gonna hop on the bed with me as well. I would've lost it.
Anyway... Birthday's on Thursday... I'm almost 21, YAY!! And my wolf is coming to stay with me in NY for two weeks!! YAAAAAAAY!!
It's been a really long time since I've been so happy. My mom's finally come around and let me be who I please. Albeit. She still does tell me off for stupid and mundane things... But I'm just happy.
A meeting with my whole family, and it came out so much better than I'd originally thought. My mom accepts me... my boyfriend, allowing him to sleep here. I almost cried for joy. Things came out so great...
I want to thank all of you guys for watching me, and dealing with me while everything was going on, and supporting me as I drew. Thank you, everyone.

General | Posted 15 years agoWell, I just wanted everyone to know I'm not gonna be here for a while. I JUST graduated from University. GO ME!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY -Party hats-
And needless to say, my time in England has come to an end. So I'm packing all of my things and moving back home, and possibly to a new destination out to the west quite soon. (I'm so excited!) ^^
But yeah, there's a lot to do... It's Father's Day soon. So I'm gonna be spending it with my brother and my father in Yorkshire, hiking. xD I've never gone hiking before!! I finally get to use my hiking boots!
In anycase... I'm packing all my things away and moving back soon, so this might be the last day you guys get to see me for a while or so. Be well everyone, stay in high hopes. I'm gonna try to be. There's gonna be a lot of shit happening tomorrow and through the time I'm gone, but once its all gone, I'll be back and I'll be standing more proud than ever... Wish me luck.

From Armored Core Nexus Evolution. The music in this game was just so awesome. REALLY gets you going. A mix between rock and techno, almost, if not done perfectly well. Albeit it a few tracks that bothered me, but the tracks really get you charged up.
The tracks I recommend are:
