R.I.P Blindrabbit 01-04-1972 07-19-2014
Posted 11 years agoIt is very hard to give notice that after fighting and giving all he had, Rabbit passed away very peacefully in his sleep on July 19th 2014 at 4am.
All my love and family awaiting by his side.
He did open his eyes and shed a tear as he faded away..
I wish to thank so many here on FA for giving Rabbit so much support and friendship for the little window he gave all of you.
There is too many to name.
Funeral services will be private and his remains will be scattered in select places as he wished for,
At my husbands request either me or his brother (Jason aka jasar) will randomly keep Rabbits page alive for memories and a keep sake for me.
Please if there is a long pause of inactivity do not be concerned as there is a lot of personal things and the second chapter of my life, and my kids life to prepare for.
**hugs**

Rabbit is Dying..
Posted 11 years agoAfter hours of test, and even a small feeding tube.. There is nothing more to do for my husband,. No magic in a bottle, no presto wand, no free rides..
So we wait,, Seeing him in a bed, looking like a sheet of bones and skin, it's all I can do to think that he was such a joy a few weeks ago..
Doctors said that the cancer has spread so deep in his organs that they are shutting down from chemo and residuals plus all the medications, there is quite some damage. His lungs are only half functional, blood pressure is slowing down.
It's only a matter of time.
Kids are saying their I love you's and hugs and kisses. I cry in the room next door because I try to keep strong.
I don't want to let go.!!
I love him so much..
Damn it why is it the ones you love are the ones that leave this world!?..

Rabbit is not doing well since his last DR visit.. :( He's noticing his strength is starting to fade more now... Sleeping in the daytime more.. I am scared but praying that day will be nearing us faster than we planned for.
We discussed final plans and even hospice care, but he want's to be at home.. With me and the kids around him.
ATM he is resting... But I know it won't be long now...
He is eating less now too..
I asked him what does he want to do now. All he said was "Feel free again."
I love him...
Tiger.

Life
Posted 11 years agoWhat is life?
Oh, I have been asked this question many times before with no answer, that's correct anyway. (smiles)
What is life? I ponder it as I look up onto the sunrise marking another day anew warming my soul.
What is life? Seeing others for what they are and where we stand.. Even if it's halfway in the middle of the road..
What is life? Seeing the ones you love be hurt, knowing that they will go against what you try to tell them between right and wrong..
What is life? Saying goodbye to those you know and love... For what ever reason.
What is life? The warm feeling knowing you are going to be a mom or dad.. Or in love..
What is life? Being there for someone when they need it...;)
What is life? A book that has no pages written from others, only you..
What is life to you?

Funny but true humor...
Posted 11 years agoI have a friend who told me this...
What do you get when a row or rabbits retreat from a hole in the ground?
A receding hare line... ;)
I had an eight year old sit at a table at a local diner with what I would assume was his mother... The waitress asked the eight year old, "What would like to eat today?" The eight year old replied with a strait face, "I would like a plate of unborn chickens.!" The waitress looked stunned and noted a "Huh?" face.. Looking at the waiter the kids mom says.,"Eggs, he wants some scrambled eggs!"
I once hear of stretching a dollar, It makes sense.. There was a guy that lived not too far from he who was so uptight as not to spend any money he would go to extremes to save money.. He was arrested for stealing the following items from local businesses.. Tooth Pics, Napkins, Toilet Paper, Phone Books, Trash Bags, Light Bulbs, (I assume they worked).. Gasoline from parked cars, And to top it off of all things,(the one that got him caught,) Cheating rolls of change, (with coins from other countries and metal slugs) to the local bank.!!
Lastingly a funny but true event.. A local homeowner whose house he occasionally rents out that' is ocean front property had a lash of things that were seemingly out of place.. He would go by to check on the house and find that the shower that was outside would seem to have a leaking faucet valve because water would be found on the ground... The shower witch was outside was approximately 12 by 8 with walls 7 feet tall.. Inside was a bench, a clothing shelf and a place to place your toiletries. Being concerned, Naturally concerned would he called a plumber to come check out the shower. To his surprise, NOTHING was wrong with the shower... No leaks nothing!
In odds as to what was going on He, with my advice, decided to go and buy cameras. We went to set set up several cameras to see if it was a fluke event or a little more.. (this is a $616k house) A few days go by and nothing... Then at 8:30 in the evening I get a call from my friend, telling me to check out the cameras online, (The cameras have an internet viewing feature witch was cool).. Sure enough, Activity.. So we went over to the beach house.. A simple 8 minute drive...
I tell you what, What we found was absolutely stunning!! In the shower, helping themselves to the water, soap, and all the other staples were 12 people in the shower! 5 females seven males!! YUP you did not misread that! all at once they were drinking and showering in someone else"s outdoor shower!! They were seen walking off the beach front and helping themselves to the shower,.!!
Well they were caught, charged with trespassing, damage to property, theft of utility service, public consumption of alcohol, in public.!!
Moral of the story,,, Don;t get sand in your private parts and you wont get to go to jail using other peoples showers...

Posted 11 years agoThe Economy has gotten so bad that funeral homes are now offering economy burials for those strapped for cash..
They can bury you in paper or plastic.!
The sharpest knife in the drawer is the one that cuts the last useful things you need to have cut. (brick dust, floor tile carpet steel pipes)
A spare tire is only as good as the preventative maintenance you perform on the rest of the car/truck.
To save a few dollars on a purchase, a man will drive across town to buy a $6.99 rake, but spends $25 in gas driving across town to get it.
There is no penguin living in the freezer to turn off the light when the door is closed.
Cheap labor is not good. Good labor is not cheap.
If driving defensively was a 24 hour job on Americas highways, Why is insurance rates rising?
Drying a brassier on the clothes line is no more embarrassing than drying underwear on the dash board of a car.
Safe sex is like buying paint for a house, choose the wrong kind and everyone knows where ya live.
And lastingly...
Never date a person who can scare a blind mans dog into crying!
