It is with great sadness, for me to announce my son lost his battle with HLHS. He fought hard and long his whole life and just couldn’t do it anymore. It happened so fast, but he went so peaceful and painless. My son has been battling a nasty complication from his last heart surgery he had in November. Called protein loosing enteropathy. (PLE) it’s where the proteins from your blood leak out of your gut and into your belly/stool. He was on the severe end of it. We were discharged from hospital on Thursday, today he was supposed to get a PICC line (a special iv that goes near the heart that blood can be taken from and meds administered) and he was supposed to get iron and albumen (blood proteins) transfusions tomorrow. Ever since we got home from hospital he slept on the couch, vomiting every day multiple times a day, only words I’ve heard come out of his mouth was “water” and “up” yesterday morning I knew something was off but he was still there he was able to sit up, puke, tell you what he needed. Later that day I sat down to check his blood oxygen levels, I couldn’t get a reading at all, his temp wouldn’t read on the machine it would just say “low” and he was starting to work hard at breathing, we rushed him to hospital. He was coherent when we put him in his seat, took us 2 minutes to get there, his eyes rolled back as soon as we started taking him out of his car seat, he died in my arms as I rushed him in. They tried cpr for 50 minutes. I watched how fast 50 people ran into his room instantly, drilling into his legs, chest compression, defibrillation. They moved me to a quiet room, we had some hope a couple times. But he couldn’t fight anymore. He didn’t complain, did say ow, didn’t say he was scared. He was at peace. Gone so fucking soon. April 12, 2017 - August 7, 2022.

now that life has settled down and hasnt been so hectic, ive finally been able to kinda re-enter the fandom. been watching alot of videos, checking out different websites, man has the fandom changed in a way. kindof like the traditional way things used to be for myself. i mean i took a strong like 5 year break from the fandom, been looking back on everything, the feels man.. the feels, so many people i dont hear from anymore.

Its super crazy to see the fandom thriving as much as it is these days, watching con videos, seeing furry youtubers and everything is just so pleasing to see, i am not huge into tiktok but i tried checking out the furry scene on there and its so cool to see all the diversity of furs. puts a smile on my face! i really hope i can finally make it to my first con. its always been a dream for me since i was like..... 13-15 ish to go to anthrocon or any con in general and just experience it first hand instead of word of mouth or now more recently video. since back in the day i never really tried to youtube anything everything was told or shown to me in photos through people ive met on here or on secondlife.

secondlife is still a thing for me, ive been trying to go on more and more since i finally moved into the new house and have a somewhat upgraded computer so i can finally do that kinda stuff. i mean ive always had a potato computer but now that i can actually visit places and meet people its way better lol!

i am not too sure if people every wondered what happened to me. well life happened, i know i probably made a journal or two on what ive been doing and where i have been, but i was never able to actually come back to the fandom because of life. and still kinda busy but its at a good pace now! been going super hard on rl, got lots of stuff going on family and car related. (car stuff plug cant help it) been working on alot of my project cars. i am lacking super hard on making any content for youtube because i am super bad at doing that, i have some content i need to edit which i should be doing right now anyway hahah! i think i only have one car now without an engine in it, and its really close to going in. my most recent project is actually a 1993 pontiac firefly with a 1989 suzuki swift gti swap to make a replica. i just put the engine in last week. i just got some stuff together to try and start it maybe tonight. maybe i should charge the go pro lol! i just blew up my transfer case on my truck on the weekend so i am in the middle of dealing with that. i actually pulled the t-case today and is waiting for the new-used one to get here from south sask.

enough about cars, more real life stuff will be happening here shortly in the upcoming parts of the year. my son's bi-annual appointment finally came up and we have a rough estimate for surgeries and stuff. they are saying august we will be going for his heart cath (basically a pre operation checkup on heart and lungs by monitoring arteries and viens from inside) and we will then after get a date for surgery for his third and hopefully final for the 3 step process of having HLHS. they are estimating surgery will be happening around sept-oct. we hope all goes well when it happens. when surgery comes we will be living in edmonton alberta. i am from saskatoon sk. little bit of a distance for surgery haha. that will be out battle coming soon.

hoping to be attending some events as covid restrictions in saskatchewan are lifted. i will be getting more into the racing scene once my "race car" is finished. but i am wanting to attend drag racing events this year and hopefully get some videos of cars and people and post it to my youtube. aswell as car shows like our big one here in saskatoon (cruise weekend show and shine) i attend every year with my car audio club. speaking of car audio i have my audio car working and hoping to attend some audio comps aswell. huge plans for the summer hoping to get it all done.

well, ive taken a huge break from the internet. my life has changed hugely in the past 4 years i have been gone. ive gotten married, i had a child (with a heart defect) and that itself has been super crazy, and ive been working hard.

ive gotten married to the love of my life, we met on xbox on call of duty black ops 2! to this day we will game together, never let the spirit die out!

ive had a kid, probably the best thing that couldve happened to me. he was born april 12th 2017. his name is gavin, he was born with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) and has to go through at minimum 3 open heart surgeries. his first surgery was at 7 days old, little baby guy got his chest cracked open and had the septum of his heart removed and a shunt from the heart to the pulminary put in. second surgery was about 4 months old and that attached the big neck vein to his pulminary next is his last surgery which is from 3 to 5 years old, so far he is like any other kid he loves to play and is growing everyday!

The other day I lost an old friend of mine, Operaptor (I forgot how to add link names been too long) it came at a shock as it was a facebook post made by a relative. You just posted on my wall and wanted to catch up but we never got to finish our conversation, I wish I could've received your message back saying how you were. The saskatchewan wildfires are estimated to burn until snowfall... Even if contained and controlled apparently they will continue to burn as they are too big and whatnot. Not 100% sure all and all they won't go out for a while :(

Today my city is still filled with smoke from the fires and the smell of burning forest is starting to get annoying when you can smell it again... I think I heard there is still about 213 fires burning. The wind bringing more smoke in isnt helping at all. Everyday and night the moon and sun are Orange like a sunset. You are able to look directly at the sun because it's no brighter than the moon on a lightly cloudy night. Things are going good so far on my end we will see how things end up..

these poast few days many wildfires across saskatchewan and alberta have broken out and my whole provinces air is polluted with smoke from the fires, the health index across my province is 10+ which is verry unhealthy. i am not in any danger of a fire reaching me as i am further south than the fires, but the smoke has my city looking like a foggy ghost town. hoping the skies clear up as the sun and moon look like a sepia tint. i pray for everyone in saskatchewan and alberta to get through this natural disaster safely.

going to edmonton for the weekend for some DB Drags (car audio bass competition) for two days and two different events, gunna be fun ear bleeding weekend haha. will be with the 306BassHeads from saskatoon ;)

another thing to mention, my close friend is heading back to toronto and is going to bring me down alot, one way ticket there going to live with the other part of his family.

i am doing a car audio build in my geo metro, 4 10w3v3 subs in a custom box, 1800.1 soundmagus amp and 2 extra rear car batteries running 2/0 guage wire and 6.5 alpine type s speakers un amped so far.

i bought a 1989 suzuki swift a while back in winter and was going to rebuild it but the frame is too rusted and stuff so i bought myself a rust free rolling chassis 1991 firefly i will be shoving the gti motor into, 1.3L DOHC fuel injected 5 spd standard. going to try and make the firefly a swift clone.

well thats pretty much my life at this point, thought i might aswell update because i am never really active on fa other than to look at art lol, anyway have a good one everyone!

got rear ended while at work today. hurray! my plans for the car are ruined! anyway i am doing ok from it, shoulder is starting to hurt, everyone is okay including her babies that were in her truck.

today i will be going to the doctor (again) to see why my lower back and leg is still hurting, i am believeing its sciatica. but we will see with a proper diagnostic. if you are wondering what happened. i work a go cart track, and a go cart flung me about 10 feet, maybe more. and i landed pretty harshly. Ever since that incident ive been having leg pain. i had about 6 x-rays on my leg, and an ultrasound on my leg muscles. everything came up ok. so next on my check list is my lower back, and see if thats the issue.. anywho i just wanted to put out another little update, thanks for reading! ^-^
