Hi old friends and fans-

I'm resurrecting this journal just for the day to share with you a project I'm very proud of. I was called in by Comedy Central to assist in the production of this furry-related video. I partially wrote, acted in and cast this short. I tried really hard to incorporate parts of the furry fandom that a non-furry wouldn't know about when writing about the community. After how ever many months, all my old commissions have been refunded! That means this account will no longer be active. Thank you all so much for a great few years. I'd be seriously lying if I said I didn't have some great experiences due to this site. But I'm currently no longer in the position to be as active as I was on the internet anymore. Ultra busy with school still, and I'm so happy about it :D Been pounding out comic related art for a few weeks now ~<3 However, I WILL NOT BE ATTENDING FURFRIGHT. Other things are happening that weekend closer to NYC and i don't want to risk not getting my homework done. I will try my hardest to attend the Deadmau5/Die Antwoord/Afrojack//& more concert on the 29th here in NYC. But if i can't, i will DEFINITELY be attending the Stewart/Colbert rally in DC :D

Hello! In reference to my last journal, I went to Electric Zoo by myself and still had an amazing time, because dancing with 1000s of other people is amazing. I saw Sander van Doorn, Boys Noize, Fedde Le Grand, Wolfgang Gartner, and then, last but not least, I stayed for all of Steve Aoki's set and he totally killed it. Seriously. When I think about it, I almost want to cry it was so good.

But also! I'm all moved into my new dorm, and almost done with my first week of school. It's amazing. All I'm doing is studying comix 24/7. I live in my favorite area of NYC with easy walking access to other sweet places, and I'm with all my friends who I missed so dearly over summer. So, my online presence will probably go down a bunch. My apologies! But, seriously, if you have my cell number and want to tell me anything GO FOR IT. DON'T BE SHY.

In terms of commissions, I have a couple more headshots to finish and then I'll probably slowly be refunding anyone else I owe anything to.

I won't be attending Rainfurrest this year, but I'm 80% sure on Furfright.

It is very early/late in the day. I should be sleeping. So, before I do, I have a question! Pardon me for stupid writing, I'm vvvvvvvvv tired.

It's not atypical for someone in the furry fandom to fall off the grid. No matter how much attention his or her art rakes in or how talkative and active he or she is in the fandom, real life can often come first. So this hypothetical person stops being active for other things in his or her life. Okay, whatev, nbd.

HOWEVER, if two people meet, fall in love, and ultimately get married through SOMETHING furry, be it an RP, art site, or convention, do they ever fall off the grid? This fandom brought them together, and chances are they've spent a good deal of time talking about it (i'm not necessarily talkin 'bout gossip. just talkin about shit in general like art and con parties). So, has it ever happened? Do you have any comments? AND YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO SAY "FURRY RELATIONSHIPS ARE STUPID WHY WOULD THEY GET TOGETHER IN THE FIRST PLACE? AND GOD FORBID THEY CONCEIVE" or some bs like that. I've seen enough working relationships that that's just an easy cop-out. This hypothetical couple has a healthy relationship. They trade laundry days, pay bills on time, and go to the movies every week. Thursday is board game night.

This can actually apply to any sort of nerd romance. TREKKIES IN LOVE. I'm mostly asking this because I've never seen a furry couple go off the grid. I'm a curious cat. See I made an animal joke. I said cat.

I don't know what to say that you haven't already read, but this man's work was astounding. I don't think I've been as impressed with animation or film in general as I have been when watching his work. If you've never watched any of his movies (Perfect Blue, Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers, etc.) I highly recommend watching one. I watched Perfect Blue recently (it's one of his older films), and I was still mind-blown by it. The man was an innovator, a true artist.
