I been thinkin' of releasing my substar exclusive stuff publicly 1 month after their private release. It's probably not the best idea to keep this behind a paywall.

At the same time I want to do what i can to bring income to help my situation, but I also enjoy sharing my art especially my nsfw stuff xp

Status Update: Hey every one, just posting an update on how I've been.

Lately my back has gotten worse, likely from sitting for so long all the time. Because of this I've been struggling to work on my stuff for more then 45 minutes now. I used to be able to do for like an hour and 30, but now i've had to take more breaks. I'm hoping some heat, and maybe hot baths might help me. But due to my overall condition it's difficult to do those things sadly... uu
Also just been dealing with alot of stress and anxiety from life stuff recently. And trying to keep up with everything i'm doing on top of it, has worn me out so much. Sadly medical treatment hasn't work for anything including all the pain. x.x

I'll be honest, my minds been out of whack and I haven't been able to focus on things enough to get much done. It's hard to keep goin' when you feel like you're mostly helpless and can't do much. Which as you'd guess also stresses me even more x3

Haven't been able to make very much income, and worry that I don't be able to support myself... and it gets to me sometimes...
As my condition worsens, I have to take things slower and slower, and it pains me to say that, cuz i have so much that I want to do, so much to show y'all.

So it pains me to even ask if anyone would be interested in helping support my works. It's okay if you can't, but if ya' do i'd very much appreciate any donation ^^
I planned on opening a Ko-fi, but Ko-fi's been acting stupid for no reason, i'm hoping i can get that working for me soon, but for now I DO have a patreon.

Hey everyone, Thought i'd give ya'll a small update on the game so far. I came up with the idea of making template sprites so the sprite creation process would be simplified for me. This way I might be able to make overworld sprites much faster!
Doin' this kinda' saves me the math work of animating, and I can just follow my guidelines! I think I'll just keep a idle and walking animations which will double as the sprinting animation, to save time so I can get that alpha demo release out asap!

Today imma' go over some details about Chymixea: Wonder Quest, The Story progress, combat mechanics, and other parts of it!


First the Story and Sprite work, I'm going to focus on plot-important characters' and recruit able teammates' face sprites!

DNA Splicing!
It was quite a fun challenge to plan and program this mechanic to spice up combat. I wanted to give it an RNG aspect where after slaying one enemy they would drop their DNA, and then a teammate could use SPLICE to absorb the DNA for their benefits. But there are 4 different types of DNA to absorb: Blue(which restores you glow power), Orange(which boosts you stats for the rest for the fight), Green(which restores your HP), and Violet(which fills your fusion gauge!). These benefits would change the dynamic of battle, sometimes the player will encounter "Alpha enemies", which are stronger versions of normal enemies and taking advantage of the splice mechanic would add a layer of strategy and tension to each battle!

Treacherous Dungeons!
I gave the dungeons an overhaul! They are much longer, and formidable this time around! Each dungeon would be broken down into corridors where the player can explore and collect treasure while fighting through hostile chymixea, trail chambers, and boss layers! Trial Chambers would serve as the main challenge in a dungeon, where the play must complete a certain task or series of tasks to proceed to the next room! like navigating mazes, fighting a number of foes, or solving a puzzle, each with an added element of RNG to keep them fresh to the player! I will also be working on more elaborate and beautiful tile sets and layouts for each dungeon!

And now the Bonding System!
In this game I wanted to emphasize the importance of interacting with chymixea and it's world such as: taking on side quests, building closer bonds with villages- which may unlock better services and new quests, and most importantly bonding with your teammates! With the "chit chat" option in the menu, the player can talk to or play with their teammates, sometimes they would comment on the current area you're in, or you could converse and learn about your partners! And by completing quests and clearing dungeons and other activities, one can build a stronger bond with their teammates. As you grow closer to each other they gain the ability to fuse together, your partners may learn new abilities, and they would open up to you more. I should also mention that after a certain bonding threshold is met something called a "Favor quest" would become available for the player to accept from a teammate. Completing these favor quests would advance you and your teammates' bond! Treat them well and they'll treat you back! ;3
