September Update

September has arrived, Fall season is coming in real quick and I've got a few updates for you. Let's have a look, shall we?
Scheduled YCH Art Ends October / Future Plans
I've quite enjoyed coming up with these YCH interactions the last several months for everyone to participate in, it's been a great excuse to draw more of my own characters and yours at the same time, and even write!
However, with the end of my busy work season coming in a couple months, I'll be reassessing my schedule and figuring out what I want to do for the Fall / Winter months. My cost of living is gonna go up quite a bit soon, so depending on how things shake out I may start offering commissions in the fall as a means to earn a little additional money, or look for some additional work. I just can't say right now, so there will be nothing planned monthly for a little while.
That said, I've made a couple big changes to the YCH schedule below, including revealing what October's YCH is, so make sure to read below!
Commission Splits / Art Trades Remain Open
As with previous months, I remain available for art trades and splitting commissions with folks. If you're interested in pairing up with one of my characters to get a commission or want to trade artwork, shoot me a message and we can chat about it!
Art trades take priority in my queue and will be completed at a much quicker pace than YCHs or other free stuff.
YCH Schedule
Prior months: May's YCH is done, just waiting final approval on the writing part! Looking forward to releasing it soon, keep an eye on your feed for some macro content from me. It (appropriately) features my biggest story yet. June's YCH is in the coloring and shading phase, and August is in the planning / sketching phase.
September's YCH is changing themes. I'm going to shelve the office theme with Atheress (for now, I'd like it to come back in the future) and go with a solo, Halloween themed YCH. I'll be able to knock that down a little quicker and get it to you in time for the big spooky day. It'll release much sooner as well since it's just a solo piece, so make note of the date and description below.
October's YCH is... a character sheet! That's it. That's the theme. I'll be looking for one lucky character that either needs their first character sheet, or wants an updated one, and working with you to get all the details just right. See below for the release date and more details.
September 15: NSFW, solo - Dark summoning spells gone wrong (or right, depending on what you're looking for)! You've screwed up a summoning spell from your book and a plethora of tentacles have burst forth from the pages, eager to explore every last bit of you. Dressed in your halloween - or other appropriately themed - outfit, will you embrace this wriggling twist of fate, or struggle for your freedom?
October 6: Character Sheet - Work with me to build a reference page for your character. Either SFW or NSFW. Will feature 3 flat color, fullbody drawings (front/back/clothed) + a few optional slots for up-close details on various aspects of your character (expressive headshot, piercings, markings, etc.). Page style, colors, etc. will all be customizable as well.

I'm starting to catch up my art queue a little bit, so to reward myself I've selected 4 iconic furry characters from popular media I've been meaning to do some NSFW fanart of; I want to hear your thoughts on which one I should draw first! I'm thinking it'll be a nude / undressing pinup with a couple of alternates. If you vote, there's even a chance to win some artwork from me as well!

August Update

Time for the August update, let's get into it.
Art Fight Defeated Me
Art Fight is finished, and I got absolutely bombarded with attacks. 12 in total, including revenge.
I was completely blown away by how many folks decided to draw my characters, and I'm super grateful. As I said prior to the start of the event, I will be getting revenge on any attacks I get, even after the event is over. Thus, I have plenty of sketches to get to, which isn't so great for my already busy schedule. I'll be changing / delaying the YCH schedule again, so read below for more info.

As with previous months, I remain available for art trades and splitting commissions with folks. If you're interested in pairing up with one of my characters to get a commission or want to trade artwork, shoot me a message and we can chat about it!

Prior months: April YCH is done and in my gallery, check it out! May is in the writing / coloring phase, June is in the sketching phase.
My thinking is that I can still get the next couple YCHs out in their designated months, but I'm going to push them towards the end of the month. We'll try for the last Friday of each month!
For October, I'm planning something special but it's far too early for details. It will be the last 'monthly' YCH before I reassess my schedule for the Fall / Winter.
August 25: NSFW Interaction - Bring your intersex (or accessorized female) characters along and have some rough fun with my marten, Aarvid, giving him an up-close-and-personal experience of your character's curves (and what kind of heat they're packing!)
September 29: NSFW Interaction - Return to the office and meet your new boss, Atheress! She's got a nice raise lined up for you... if you can make it through an after-hours meeting with her. Pass the oral exam and get a bonus for how in-depth your work is!
October: TBD. :)

July is here, and that means Art Fight is starting back up. I will be shifting my focus that way for a while and participating again this year, but the number of attacks I can make will be limited with how busy I am for the Summer.
That said, if you want to attack me with some artwork there, I'd love to see it! I guarantee that anyone who does will get something back in return. Even if I can't make the artfight deadline for your revenge art, it will be added into my regular artwork queue to be completed later.

Sorry for the delay in posting the results of the YCH, I basically never made it home yesterday until late, then was too tired to do anything but sleep.
SO, results time! Y'all made it difficult to choose again, some really good submissions for this one. I ended up torn between 2 of them and really struggled to decide, so a coin flip had to settle this one.

For the rest, thank you again so much for participating! I wish I had time for multiple slots on these to draw all the characters that deserve some more artwork.

Testing Out An Inkbunny Account

FA is still going to be my main hub for furry artwork, I've just been thinking of having a couple secondary places to upload it as well, especially the mature content and higher quality artwork.
So, I've started an Inkbunny account and will be testing the waters there with some select uploads. If I like how the site works and get some good results, I might upload all my stuff.

Spacing Things Out A Bit
I'm realizing the 'once a month' YCHs I'm trying to do are a bit too much to handle on top of the personal artwork I want to do and how busy my new job is keeping me. Motivation to work on bigger projects is tough to find lately.
I'm still going to release the June YCH as promised from the vote last month, but expect July not to have anything scheduled. I'll try and focus on completing owed projects rather than coming up with a new one that month. Then things can resume as normal for August.
Wanna Team Up For A Commission?
Now that I have a few completed characters, I'm certainly interested in pairing them up with others' characters and commissioning more artwork of them from other artists. If you're interested in splitting a commission with me or learning a bit more about one of my characters, send me a message and we can chat!

June 9: Grab your surfboard and strike a sexy pose in your best swimsuit, joining my bunny Malea for some ocean fun in the sun. Show off those muscles, curves, or maybe a little extra if you so desire.

June YCH Theme - Voting Results and Sketch Winner

The results are in for the theme of my June YCH! Let's have a look:
Winning with 7 votes, option B! (Swimsuit YCH at the ocean, featuring Malea).
With 4 votes, option A came in second (NSFW intersex/female-on-male YCH with my marten, Aarvid).
With 3 votes, option C came in third (NSFW office-themed YCH with my wolf, Atheress).

As an incentive / bonus, if you vote for an idea, you'll be entered for a black/white sketch of a single character of your choice! I'll pick a winner randomly from anyone who votes.

Some updates for this month below, have a look!
All The Juicy Details
One of my goals for this summer is to update and elaborate on my current completed characters. I definitely like having two versions for my latest character Aarvid, so I can send the appropriate version to artists depending on what I want.
This means I'll continue to slowly figure out some NSFW versions of everyone's character sheets, and updating the main ones with outfit changes or otherwise. So, yeah, new and improved character sheets incoming at some point when I can find time to do them.
Looking To Trade?
I may be busy and slowing down on art raffles and requests, but I still remain available for art trades. If you want to draw one of my characters and get art (of similar quality) of one of yours in return, I'm open to discussion.
I'll accept them one at a time, and art trades will jump the queue and be high priority to complete over the free stuff I owe (since I'm getting something back in return). Send me a note if interested!
YCH Schedule
I realized with the last YCH that releasing it on a holiday Sunday may not have been the best idea in terms of making it visible to everyone, so I'll change up the release days for YCHs to Friday going forward.
Also, to help pick a variety of winners, going forward, winners of the last TWO (2) YCH prior to the current month cannot enter. So, if you were selected in March or April, you can't enter this one, but the winner from March could then enter again in June, and April's winner could enter for July, and so on...
Here's the preview for the YCH for May and June:
Friday, May 5: Macro / growth themed YCH (NSFW optional), featuring Nimah! It seems you bought (and drank) a suspicious potion from a shifty serval merchant. The artwork portion will show your character one ridiculous growth spurt later, 20 stories tall and peering down on the mischievous serval on a nearby rooftop. The story portion will describe the transformation and what happens next. Will the potion keep making them bigger? Cause a transformation? Gain some new powers? Not even Nimah knows the answer...
Early June (date TBD): This YCH theme will be chosen by you, the watchers! I'll release some kind of poll or vote later in May with a few options and let you all pick the winner. For now, if you want to suggest a theme to be included in the poll, toss a comment down below with your ideas. If I like it, it could be included in the poll!

Gettin' Busy!
Work's starting to pick up some steam now, so my art queue is gonna slow down even more until the fall. Just a reminder that I'm hitting pause on raffles and requests until then. If you're waiting for artwork from me, you can always send a note asking for an update, and I promise I will get around to your artwork. It just might take a while for me to find enough time and energy to get it done.

Hope you're all doing well. Couple of general updates to announce, let's get into it below.
General Schedule / Activity
The amount of artwork I'll be able to draw in the coming months is going to be significantly reduced. I have a new career in the golf industry which is going to demand a ton of my time from April - October, so artwork will have to be pushed aside for most of that.
This isn't to say that I am going to stop drawing during those months, but I will need to restrict the amount of requests and raffles I do so that accepted artworks don't take months to deliver (and they already do sometimes even when I'm not as busy). I will be figuring out a season-dependent schedule, where I do more personal content and limited free artwork during golf season, and then open up for more requests and raffles during the winter. This journal will mark the start of that change, so new raffles and requests will be shut down until the fall.
Alongside some personal artwork, I'll be trying to run some limited YCH and art trades during my busy months, which you can read about a bit more in detail below.
Art Trades Now Available
Starting as of this journal, I will be opening up for art trades!
Each time I do so, I'll announce via journal that I'm open and update my main page accordingly. There will then be a certain amount of time (maybe a week or two, or until someone applies, whichever is longer) that interested parties can send me a note with the following:
* a character reference (or up to 3 different references, if you want to let me pick)
* the character of mine you want to draw
* your idea for the trade ( do you just want to trade sketches? swap single character artworks, or maybe have the chosen characters interact?)
* (optional) artwork samples, indicating the level of detail or quality you'd like to do for your part of the trade. If not provided, I'll check out your gallery.
I'll pick one to move forward with and close trades until it's complete, at which point I'll start the process over again.
Initially these will be one at a time, and you'll have to re-apply each time I open for an trade. Ideas and characters can be SFW (any character or species) or NSFW (adult, anthro only).
So, consider this journal the announcement that I'm available to trade!
I'll accept trade offers this time around until March 3, 2023 at 1600 MST (or remain open until someone applies). Send me a note if you're interested!

Commissions Update

I know I've had commissions listed as "Coming Soon" for a while now, and last I updated everyone on their status I mentioned around November would be the time I could start them. Things have changed substantially since then so I should let everyone know what's happening.
Basically, I have a major job / career change on the horizon that's going to drastically alter my schedule and the amount of time I have available to work on artwork. This is a very positive change for me that'll boost my income substantially and give me a great opportunity to advance in a field I'm passionate about, but I expect it'll also keep me much busier. Exactly how it'll work out remains to be seen, I can't say for sure until after I've settled into the new role.
SO, that said, the start of commissions will continue to remain on hold indefinitely until I'm sure I can handle dedicating time every week to paid artwork. I won't guess as to a time they'll be open as I just don't know yet. I don't want to have clients on hold for months at a time for artwork I can barely work on; it's not fair to you and right now, I don't need the money from artwork.
I'll continue to have free artwork events like raffles, art trades and requests. I still love drawing everyone's characters and I'll be further experimenting into the areas of animation, pixel artwork and some more NSFW artwork (as well as continuing to refine my standard style of artwork), and this stuff I can work on more casually without deadlines since no money is involved.
Thanks again for everyone's support and engagement with my artwork, and I hope to see you in the comments or at my next request / raffle.
