Life is picking up a little more, I start work at Microsoft on Tuesday as a game tester >:3 I know I know, bottom rung stuff, but at least I've got my paw in the door!

Hard Times: I've fallen into some. But I won't bore you with the details.

But I'm actually writing to tell you that the EXTREMELY useful firefox add-on called Autopager (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fi.....fox/addon/4925) works here on FA without configuration. Making it EXTREMELY easy to view large amounts of submissions without having to go by chunks of 36 or whatever.

If you happen to be skiing up at Steven's Pass this winter, look for me in the rental department, I'll be a full time employee and living up there for the season.

I know at least some of you knew Pookeh. I didn't before the end of May. But I felt a need to help her out in some way, so I drove down and visited, took pictures and hung out for a few days. It wasn't until a few days ago that I found out that 5 days after I left, she took her own life.

What I am left with is a set of pictures that freeze frame her life immediately prior to her suicide. Don't hate me for sharing these.

Finally! I got some validation for my efforts at Cornish thus far. I submitted Work for a merit based scholarship and won a $1,000 scholarship! I also found some work study that I can do on campus today, I can even start before the end of the month. On top of these joyous occasions, I ran into an old friend from elementary school while walking today! Would you believe it? She was the first person I ever kissed >>. You never know when people might slip back into your life. I also made $10 selling a course reader I had gotten for a class I dropped by selling it to a classmate. On top of all these positive things, I stopped by a satanic book store I always walk by and found some of my favorite incense (Nag Champa) for just $2! The only thing keeping this day from being perfect is not having a special someone to come home to, but you can ask for everything. I readily look forward to casting off at least some of the burden of money.

..been feelin' down, oodles. School is beginning to take a very very unfortunate and not good backseat to finding a job and getting some money to help pay for my apartment. At this point, I can only live here for another month. Its truly difficult not having financial aid from my parents in this college turmoil. I've also been deficient of friends in Seattle. I don't seem to be able to connect with anyone in the design department save maybe one or two people.

How do I make money with my photography? I had this vision of selling some on the side to help me through school, but its completely not happening, how do I get my feet wet?

Why doesn't anyone want to hire me? I realize my resume is 7 months of IT and a year of janitorial work and I have long hair, but is everyone so blind to everything except the superficial that they can't see how badly I need work or how committed I would gladly be to making money for and with their business..?

Sorry guys, design is kicking my ass. Its right in between the emotional aspects art and the organizational importance of photography. But for some reason, I can't seem to master the subtlety it requires. I'm always either to focussed on one end of the spectrum or the other. But the real problem is that I just can't seem to focus on my class work recently. I love design, but its like as soon as its labeled as homework, someone has thrown a bucket of toxic, florescent paint of it and I don't want to go near it. Can't tell you how much I hoped that problem wouldn't follow from high school, but apparently it did.

Sorry for the rant, just low today.

Anything.. and anything eclectic. People with larger music collection still call me picky, but I know music pretty well and can't stand poor musicianship/ugly sounding singers.

I'd say smack down the middle, I like both and do both. Just depends on what it is. :3

Easily Sci-fi, erroring on the side of cynicism. DNA's HHGTTG ftw.

5.) If you could change one thing about society what would it be?
I'd try and help people see outside of their lenses and be less close minded. Or at least to something to help them see how many choices they make in a given lifetime.

6.) If you were an evil bastard, what would you be doing?
So many choices ^^; I'm caught between forcing university professors to teach Esperanto to kinder-gardeners and sawing off people's limbs with steak knives and no anesthetic.

Hahaha, I wasn't expecting such a vulgar question! Can't imagine I'd be able to spill the cereal too haphazardly while sitting down, I'd probably clean up the cereal first. Such a random question.

8.) What faith/religion do you subscribe to?
I really can't express how much I appreciate the open mindedness of the Unitarian Universalist methodology, but I just don't make room for religion in my life. It just seems like an excuse to gather like minded communities in my mind.

9.) What things annoy you the most right now?
People who are ignorant to the reactions the generate with the things they do. And just people who are ignorant in general.

10.) Where do you see yourself in 30 years?
I'll be doing something with the visual arts. Hopefully I'll be making enough money doing something I love to do whatever else I love in my free time without having to worry about it's cost. I'll probably be happier alone.

Well, hello FA!

I'm kinda new here, been over at DA for the longest time, but I miss the community that DA has gotten too large to support. And I'm a fur, so I thought this would be a place to atleast check out.

What I'd like to know from all of you is weather or not I should post my photography here. I can't really draw.. (yet) or make too much furry related art... But one of my friends here keeps pressuring me to submit anyway, what do you think?

Some of you know that I wear a tail on a daily basis, most probably do not. And neither do most of the people I meet in real life. They are usually too ignorant to notice, too shy to ask about it or just try and ignore it, I love it. Because I wear it on a daily basis, I get questions about it at least 2-3 times a week. Today, someone asked me about it and the following interaction occurred.

Fellow Student: Whats with the cat tail? --Got the species right!
Me: I'm a furry...? --I can't help myself from being a dick about it sometimes - .-'
Student: Like the ones on the internet?
Me: Not anymore >:3
