Hey guys! As some of you might know I'm super into Watcher Participation, and seeing which characters you like and why. I also really am just a people pleaser. ;P BUT ANYWAY!

I was thinking about doing a monthly pin up sort of deal for my characters. Maybe every-other-month, depending on how busy Dayjob and Life is. The plan is for the pin-up to be completed before the end of this month, and while you guys can pick the subject, I'll be coming up with what's going on in the actual picture.

Life has settled into a tenuous rhythm, and for that I'm grateful. There's only a few more weeks of summer, and it seems like my Dayjob is already starting to slow down, much to my relief! The art drive is DEFINITELY back, so I'm having a lot of fun just throwing myself into creating again. <3

Commissions will hopefully be opened soon! As some of you may have noticed, I was unable to take any new orders for the majority of June. My plan was to finish my current que before July, but life does what it does best and became hectic at the worst time.

Summer is an incredibly busy time for my dayjob and often leaves me exhausted when I get home. Rather than make any commitments to new clients, I've chosen to finish the work I owe first. :) Thankfully, I suspect I will be done very soon barring anymore dayjob explosions or social obligations.

I also haven't forgotten about May's Raffle Winner, and intend to finish the colored piece ASAP.

Hey all. So we made it. Let's hope that 2018 treats us a bit kinder.

For a moment of reflection-- I'm really proud of myself for more than tripling my artistic output between 2016 and 2017. I learned so much, and my art really seemed to grow in the past year. I'll be doing one of those Year of Art things once HusBeast fixes my goddamn Mac. Which he broke. ...movin' on!

I'll be looking into Ko-Fi sometime this year for those who wanna throw a little extra dosh my way. I'm thinking about having a monthly raffle exclusively for those who have contributed each month. It'd be like a Mini-Patreon, but without all the kerfuffle.

Commission prices might change, or I might add more options. It's something I'll be reevaluating soon.

Speaking of commissions-- for those of you who have recently sent in an order, your stuff is being worked on. Unfortunately my Dayjob decided to implode last and this week, so I'll be working until Saturday. Onto the reason for this journal! I love to ink. Like, a stupid lot. It's about my favorite part of the art process, save for that sketchy zen you get when your lines are all messy and good. <3 Anyway! I was wondering if it was okay to possibly practice inking or coloring on any of my friends/watchers black and white images? Feel free to leave a comment saying it's a-okay and that way if the mood strikes me I know I won't be stepping on anyone's artistic toes.
