I'd like to make a feature for my dearest furry friend who I love with all my heart. We met years ago on dA when I discovered his anthro comic and was amazed with his dedication, creative mind and love for details, both artistic and substantial. As I got to know later on, it was only one of his many talents. I'd like to welcome on stage  danogambler ;D

I'm being very slow lately, sorry for that. I'm working on it. I have some bigger exams in school and some troublesome things to do before june. Best thing is I might have exams during Cesfur.... oh my Gods, I'm terribly sorry, they were supposed to tell us the date in january, but they didn't. All the way till now, Then I planned other things for end of june. Anyway, I will have plenty of time studying for the next date, in next year perhaps xP.

My cat has to go to the vet lately veeery often. Not the same health as 5 or 10 years ago. Attempting to make a cat eat medicine is difficult, attempting to give one a drip is just extreme. And she doesn't become easier with time, quite the opposite. She has kidney problems, and now also with her teeth. She will have a surgery tomorrow to remove most of the remaining ones. The only weak point here is the aneasthesia, she just might not wake up.

About Cesfur, with DanoGambler we are having some sweet things in store ;> I hope we will make it in time. Well, collabs are a must! Finally some big collabs with mah Foxie ;D

I'm preparing for another big illustration, this time A3(haven't tried to tackle A3 since 2004 x3). It gives me nice opportunity to write this journal.
How do you look up photo references for images? In other words, do you know good websites with photos of nature, different environment, folklore, history, just anything. Perfectly - with reliable descriptions.
With animals it's easy - dA. Infinite source of good quality photos. Sometimes also for architecture and clothing. Thanks to people doing countless pictures while going to museums and such.
It's more difficult when you want to find less known animal species of certain regions or countries.
My biggest nightmares are plants. Finding plants of certain regions is to me almost impossible, only those very well known.
So I generaly still rely on Wikipedia and Google images. Tumblr has some nice blogs and YouTube is a huge treasure chest. But I'm aiming mostly for sites with lots of knowledge, specifying in one topic.

(if I had money I would buy myself whole library with such stuff ;_;)

I had birthday yesterday, woohoo, I'm officialy 23 now, don't feel like it at all. Had a great day with parents and double chocolate cake and playing games with my sister and her fince c: Very casual evening. Every year I'm afraid of 19th march that I will relapse again because people care about me blablablah but it seems lately I'm getting normal in this case.

Moneys for Cesfur are taken care of, just need to finnish my slots. And be sure about my roommate x3, right,  Heyriel? But already, browsing my wardrobe, I began putting together my pirate outfit 83 *kitty likes dressing up* That is a very important thing.

Now, about EF Artshow. Just to make sure, Artshow pieces don't have to be related to theme of the con, right? I would like to try and contribute something only that I would need an agent. So if you would like to be my agent or you know somebody who could be, and is trustworthy x3 then gimme a note, please. I think it's worth showing off at least even if I can't attend. We can come up with some evntual cut for you or a drawing or anything you would like.

For my birthday I'd like to announce that I'm planning to do a free art raffle =3. But that when Cesfur and my school will be payed.

Hello Dearies.

A month ago I bought myself a thick, beautiful calendar to not miss anything this year and start doing things on time. This mostly applies to conventions, for half of 2013 I was living only for them 83. Trying to still be a realist, though looking at my financial state it's easy only to be a pessimist.
It's time to improve my marketing abilities *dies* ehh, I can't even imagine. I was thinking about doing some auctions and stuff but the thing keeping me not doing them is that I'm afraid that nobody will be interested - so entirely senseless reason, I know! But I wanna go to cons so I have toooo.

So, to be more specific, we are seeing eachother on  gdakon in february c:, Cesfur is far future but I'll go or die trying, escape from home, and if I get a fulltime job till then, I'll quit it only to go(not smart, yep).
I'm not sure about Eurofurence though. It seems so big and scarry to go there by my own (although close to my hometown). If somebody could point me a person who could just take me by the paw, I would be less doubtful X3, it would be perfect. Especially that I'm not overly open with strangers. There's some time left so we'll see.
And of course costs a hell load of money - I'm not sure if I can save that much, even through half of a year. Maybe some bronze artist challenge, bronze is first, right? X3 But do you know somebody little known who was successful with that?

Overal, 2014 seems packed with all kinds of trips so if only I manage to save money and plan
everything correctly, I wont nag over being bored ^^

Sorry for not wishing everybody happy holidays. I thought that it wouldn't make sense if I don't feel it's mood. Why... actually... I dunno... nevermind really. I just got the melancholy lately... Yea, I think that's the right notion. But I don't feel particulary bad about it so it's not any rant journal ^^

I got few friends over. That's Beer, Music and Pencil. I hope Pencil wont be moody today, as he used to be often. I hope he wont be moody this year.

I stopped making any resolutions for new year a long time ago, because they never work. If you want to do something you have to start at the moment, not even the next day. And I have many things to start and many to finnish. But let them just be hidden in my diaries for now. And hopefully you all can see them when finnished.
Let's just hope Depression wont come to the party. She's mean.

For 2014 I wish to you waking up rested well and enjoying your morning coffee, spending the day working on or doing what you like and love and in the night laying down to sleep not forgetting about your dreams and what is beautiful(and/or simple) in life c:

It hasn't been even two weeks yet and I'm already sick and tired of my awesome alsmost-job. I'm starting to realise that I am not that good friends with computers as I thought. Lol, already x3. I hate those God damned machines. And sitting 8 hours straight at the desk. I felt pain in every part of my body already, I can't sit still, I'm developing freakin' ADHD when I can't move for so long. I mean we have breaks but it's still too little.
Luckly I walk there everyday 30 minutes and back the same.
And on weekends there's school. But learning I like.
Wish I could live in the country and have some job there.

I dunno how much art I can manage to do until the end of this little nightmare. Ahh yes, sorry guys x3 I post mostly on Tumblr and dA lately since I can't produce any decent illustrations lately.

But I'm not whinning X3 I'm happier than ever before.
Only my eye is not happy today.

Finally, haha x3, you might say. And yes, indeed. I started improving my attitude for everything from life to art around a month ago and it gives good effects so far. Who knows, maybe this what have been hapenning for last week is also a good effect of this improvement. They say everything we do and how we live goes back to us.
I signed for a month-long practice at a company, the next day a nice lady called me for an interview(and it went great comparing to my previous experiences X3) and after the weekend she called me again to inform me that I got in ^_____^. Today was the first day and it also went good. People are great, very laid-back, well, average age is 25, environment is good, transportation is....faaairly good(I can have a long walk everyday), the company is growing. I wont get any money for this month but they say that probably I will be employed afterwards, and I find them quite trustworthy.
The company is doing search engine optimization(SEO).... creepy, XXI-century marketing black magic but can I really escape it nowadays. Not now at least, it's still better than working as a cashier, doesn't it.
I will have much less free time now but it might be worth it, we'll see in a month c:.

About improving attitude in art. There's still lots of work to do but according to anatomy being a muffin (see this ^^ http://lilaira.deviantart.com/art/w.....tomy-401891387 true story), I'm learning to have fun of creating again, no matter the outcome. To stop feeling any stress of quickly improving skills. You know, it works like that, months are passing and suddenly you realise how great your latest drawings became.

And finally I think I finally realised that moody people keep away other people from themselves, even potential friends. So I'm trying to be nicer, at least a little bit x3.

I feel sick, wonder why, have to lay down for a while... well, last 6 chapters of Game of Thrones wont read themselves x3

First of all, I am so endlesly thankful for all the new watches, faves, kind words and everything :'3 You guys are best, best in the whole wide world.

So it's about my fursona. I've been a wolf from the beginning, for 9 years(whoa, time flies x3). And it happened quite automaticaly. Although people close to me used to say I am pretty wolfish, I don't feel that's it. My personality is much more feline. I have my cat for 13 years and when I was a kid I loved playing as I was a cat, and I drew them all the time and kitties, kitties, only kitties. Lately I lived 8 months with two dogs and... :| talking about everyday life, they became annoying to me, I can't hide. While all the cats there could almost eat from my plate, I wouldn't mind much.

On the other hand, it's difficult to change entirely the view of your fursona, this "evolution" started a long before this journal.

I'm trying to figure out what should be my, you know, true soul animal.

I think it's a mix. I like to involve a bit of everything, including one's origin.
