In truth, I had this account made a long time ago, but mulled over how I wanted to use it. I try to avoid making too many social media accounts, but I also wanted to keep in touch with people who preferred to stick to that site.

Drawing and shading each individual chain on a length of shackles can be soooooo time consuming.

But it really do be like that sometimes.

I don't write journals as much as I used to. Hard to tell if it's because there's not much to talk about, don't feel like spending time on it, or I no longer find satisfaction in it. I guess this can be considered a roll call.

I still draw and expand on character backgrounds. Some sketches here and there, finished linearts that I decided to not post at the last second. I made a Twitter account few months ago where I wanted to post sketch works and stay in touch, but so far it remains empty. I'll post the account if it ever becomes useful, but I'd rather focus the account activity here... if I can put something up eventually.

Most of my time is taken up by work and other hobbies. Things are decently productive, but days often go by before I even realize it. Hopefully I can move on and commit more time to my crew's misadventures. Maybe do some character asks? I'll have to expand character refs before getting there.

It's still 25th in my time zone, anyway.

I've been mostly occupied with non-sinful-related things with the impending release of Ace Combat 7, but I have been filling in on my old sketchbook with some new (But planned for quite some time) characters that may or may not show up around here.

I also got a Surface Pro to draw on the go in the future, although it's hard to beat the textured feel of pencil scratches on a physical sheet of paper. As much as I appreciate its massive portability compared to my last full-sized laptop, it still feels a bit on the heavy side when I carry it around in my hand.

Well, until next year.

Currently stuck in Las Vegas, enjoying stupidly expensive but appropriately very delicious desserts. I'm hoping to run into a Time Crisis machine but the search so far has been fruitless.

Shame that I never got to see Inktober through to the end but I really enjoyed my time working on them, despite the annoying faults my generic BiC pens had. I'd also like to give my thanks to everyone for providing encouraging feedback, even if it was something as simple as a fave.

I'll keep expanding on the setting once I get back from the trip before the start of coming weekend.

More slow progress, huh? I wonder if I'll ever manage to put an end to that...

At least updates haven't been absolutely nothing. Been at least keeping myself somewhat occupied with making fresh memes and quality shitposts elsewhere.

I've also been worldbuilding Adele's setting in the meanwhile. It's far from finished, but it's shaping up to be a much worse world than the already crapsack one Mahin lives in.

At least his world has a stable planetary surface.

I'm sure most of you have noticed my yet another lack of activity, and I just wanted to let you know this might last several months.

No, there hasn't been a life-changing event or any need of panic. My workload just got an unexpected increase for the semester, and it's kind of in my best interest to finish it- as bloody unenjoyable as they are.

I'll keep sticking around to keep up on activity, but don't expect much from myself until this blows over.

That's pretty neat-o, I suppose.

Posting this to get the last journal out of the way, but while I'm at it, here's a short digest of my recent opinions.

The new Peanuts movie was pretty comfy. Makes me want to play Snoopy vs the Red Baron again.

My family wants to go see the new Star Wars movie, yet they have no idea who Han Solo is.

Been busy uploading videos (Boring game stuff unless you like planes and pew pews).

I got some new characters I want to draw but can't decide on who should have which hairstyles.

Quest progress based entirely on randomly generated number is outrageously stupid and should have been outlawed 6 billion years ago.

F2P is suffering.

Some of these may not be opinions.

...makes it rather difficult for me to continue the genocide run.

But man, I don't care if this game is practically oversaturating social media right now. I bought it for the soundtrack, but the characters also turned out to be absolutely fun to interact with.

But you know what people always say...

I fall straight back into Skyrim.

I do like the new character I made a lot. Maybe I'll draw some sketches of her sometime, but I can't really do much in terms of her story since I never paid attention to the lore. Call me crazy, but I think the game has something to do with dragons.

I'm finally done with all the final assignments, but I haven't gotten past the art block yet. I've also been busy messing around with gameplay videos I took in the past few weeks, trying to finish up my to-do list videos before I return the capture card by the end of this week.

But yeah, I would like to get some art done now that summer's around the corner.

I got hooked so bad to Initial D music again. I really miss the feel and style those old shows had.

Also got back into drawing mood. Time to continue working on that big image.

Aaaagh, I'm stuck on the coloring on that latest picture. I didn't like Lazra's colors and have been trying to change it for a while, but I might have to redo her entire bodysuit if I don't figure it out soon. I've been working on its story in the meanwhile, and drafted some ideas on how the story would span out if I were to continue.

Which I er, am hesitant to keep thinking about. Let's just leave it at that for now.

But naturally the opposite happened and I didn't do a damn thing for the past three weeks. Good news is that I'm back on track with things now that Spring semester's picked up and hopefully I'll get this place running again. Briefly. Maybe.

Free-to-play RNG has been rather kind to me, and blessed me with two limited time, very rare drops in Ace Combat Infinity that each contained in-game currency worth 24 hours of non-stop grinding. Needless to say, that made me very happy, among other things. Like dadjoking my sister.

But that aside, working on a picture involving Lazra and Mahin in a very bad situation. Say tuned!

Something happened to the spindle while I was carrying it around and the drive is no longer able to spin. Before I go on any further, virtually nothing of value has been lost and I have no interest in troubleshooting.

No artwork has been lost. I did routinely back them up in there but I always kept everything in computers. Feel free to stop reading at this point.

There were some good bit of data in there, but most of them were downloaded content that I can recover sometime in the future. Plus, many of them were many years old and essentially obsolete.

I did lose all of my previous school stuff, but I already recovered all of the important portfolio from student account archive (One thing this thing's actually good for). The rest can rot for all I care.

A good bit of porn were also lost, but almost all of them were shit anyway. I don't miss them the slightest.

I might try getting it fixed, but it's not a priority. I got other things to worry about.

...and I had to update virtually every single mod in the game.

And I did so without bothering to test if each update broke the game.

And now I have no idea which of the 50 mods is/are crashing the game on startup.

The outcome is not at all surprising, and I blame no one but myself. I was amazed the game even functioned at all prior to this point.

RIP Sayanzi the Punchcat. Maybe next time. /shrug
