Grab them while you can -- if I don't have anything to work on soon I'm gonna go on a hiatus and sleep for two weeks straight.
Can work on and finish any comm taken asap since no queue.
I'm stressed and panicking because I'm 100% absolutely useless and not putting any money forth currently in our household and it's eating me. Pandemic has literally killed 99% of my sales and it *sucks*.

Update.
Posted 4 years agowell, that lasted almost exactly a month! oh boy! i had to quit due to mental abuse, various ways of them exploiting me for more work/time and being threatened to be killed by another coworker! woo!
i am back to art for the time being, doing whatever I can. Planning to clear out my queue this week hopefully, and will be 100% open for commissions again. I am open for inquiries but will be waiting on taking payment until my queue is fully clear again (only 3 items.)

Job, Hiatus, Sale, and Revamping.
Posted 4 years agoDue to a slow of commission work and related income, I unfortunately have had to find a supplementary job. Starting on Tuesday of next week (2/23) I will be taking a two week hiatus for training and adjusting to the new schedule, and then will be revamping how I take on commissions!
What that means :
·If you were planning on commissioning me, do it now -- I will be working a bit over this weekend and have Monday to finish out any commissions before I start the new job. (only one in queue, almost finished)
·A small commission sale! 25% off all comms with the code "Cyberself" included in your note/DM
·I will be working on a bit of personal work in the two weeks off, so keep a look out for that!
Thank you for your continued patience. I am anxious to be going back to work, especially in something retail, in the middle of a pandemic, but unfortunately it has become necessary. Posted 5 years agomy tablet's power cord is dying ;____; like straight up -- it works but if I even bump it, it'll make the screen go weird or turn off completely and it's making it really hard to work since I rest my wrist on my tablet on that side.
it's $50 on Amazon xvx it's WAY too expensive for me to afford rn.
If anyone's willing to send me the money I will draw ANYTHING for you right now. I'm super desperate to get this replaced ASAP so I can get back to work fully. Comment/note if interested.

I cannot pick up a full-time job, and there are NO part-time jobs available right now because of the pandemic.

I won't be doing a full 100 or anything, probably just 25 or so, but I plan on trying to get them done relatively quickly.
So! I'll be opening up for 25 clean sketches, at $20 a slot! That's $15 off of my normal price. They will be done in-stream!!
I will be taking money and doing three-four at a time, that way I don't overwhelm myself, but I can get quite a few done a day. Responding with a comment will get you put in the queue though!!

I'm Scared.
Posted 5 years agoI'm terrified, even. One of my husband's coworkers tested positive today for Covid. He worked directly with him on the last day he was in at work (last Friday)
Now it's just.. a waiting game.
Waiting to see if either of us have it,
Waiting to see if I have to be the only income with a super inconsistent flow of money,
Waiting to see if we'll still have a place to live in the next month or two because of this.
I don't really know what to do at this point. I've been doing well this year commission wise but it just dropped off out of nowhere and I now have 0 income. I have bills due in.. 4 days, and nothing to work on (outside of finishing a piece for MerMay that I'm actively working on)
My birthday is in 2 weeks and I can't even consider taking my hubs out to dinner for it like we usually do, both because of Covid and money.
I'm trying to keep my chin up, but man is it hard.
ps : I'm scared to exist in my own household because of the worry that my husband had Covid. That's how bad it is. I can't leave the house but I also cannot exist inside of it.
