Our little kitten is showing signs of possible overheatedness, which can lead to heat stroke. We don't currently have an air conditioning unit so it's very warm in our apartment.

I'm going tomorrow to take a loan out and get us a unit. I am going to monitor Frisk until I believe she's okay. I may return to work after.

I know this goes one of two ways for people. Either exactly how they want, or not at all how they'd like.

I'm going to try this knowing it's not going to go how I want it to and hope that people are still willing to back me. I'm going to be using this all as motivation to push me to do better. well, that was an absolute mess

BUT ASIDE FROM THE MESS THE CON WAS,
I had a really good time. And I got a lot of really good advice from some of the other vendors!

So -- moving ahead from here -- I'll be getting myself an FA ad - adding Twitter and Instagram to the list of places I post -- working my BUTT off from here on out -- putting together a patreon -- working heavily on anatomy and posing -- and getting back into trying painting styles -- and doing more cons!

I'm so motivated. I start a new job this week that is part time, so I will be able to work 20-30 hours and still have plenty of free time for art and conventions.

For those of you who don't know -- I'll be in the dealers den at Anthro Crossroads East. A brand new con in Raleigh, NC.

So nervous! I've been preparing pretty much constantly for the last two months and I'm still not sure we're ready.

But here goes nothing!

Husbands car had a hole in the back tire. I'm not super savy with cars because I was never taught. My dad took me out to the place he always goes to make sure we get taken care of.

Pull in, look at tires. There's a big ass screw in the back right tire. But oh.
They're almost bald. Shouldn't be driven on.
Shit.

Dad looks at me, looks at tire guy. "How much?"
I immediately panic. I do not have the money for this

I do not deserve my father.


I now owe him $450 for a full 4 tires on husband's car
I need help. I dont start working my full time job again for another two weeks and my dad is getting ready to go on vacation and this was a large portion of his spending money.


PLEASE I will draw ANYTHING for help. I'm freaking out. I don't like owing people -- especially not my dad.

Since we moved out we've been hard pressed to make sure everything gets paid and we werent the ones who paid internet before, so
but when I do get it back I'll be streaming all the time again. Especially since art is currently my main job. woo!!

So much has been going on lately.
Moving. Jobless. Waiting for our interview. Trying to help my husband with his problems. But also dealing with something in me that says I'm not good enough for anyone.
The amount of things on my brain at all times is taking a toll on me.
I feel like I've hit a rut. Not in art, but in my entire life. Even though we're moving forward in our life, I'm stuck dealing with the same issues in my head..
I've been trying so hard to make up money from being jobless by taking commissions. I've gotten two.
I'm trying to make things people want. Icons, ychs, sales. I don't know what to do.
I don't know how to corral the stress. I don't know how to corral my depression. And both of them are eating away at me.

I just want us to be stable. I want to stop worrying if my car is gonna get taken away or if we're going to be able to eat or if we'll be on the streets because we can't afford rent.

I have so much more to say but no words to say it in..
