MY TERMS OF SERVICE DIGITAL ART
Posted 9 years agoTERMS OF SERVICE ART
BlueLeopard200 Digital and Traditional Art Terms of Service.
Read everything before commissioning me.
1) -My turn around rate is two to eight weeks. I will typically give you a due date but if you would like the commission to be done at a certain date then a small fee will be added to your order.
-I will also notify you if there are any delays.
2) -When commissioning me you must pay the full price up front, I occasionally offer to provide sketches before accepting payment but rarely.
3) -You may ask me for updates every week on your commission.
-Please refrain from contacting me every day about your commission, I will reply as soon as I can but I am unable to talk every day. I am a full time college student and don't have a lot of free time.
4) -Refunds will not be offered after the commission has been approved. I will show you the sketched, colored, and final stages before moving on to each one. Be sure to voice your opinions before the final stage of my work progress so it can be fixed easily.
-Once I have given you the final picture(with your approval) I will not do any more changes.
4.5) -You may ask for a refund during the sketch stage ONLY.
-By choosing a refund you will give up all rights to the sketch and I will have a right to reuse the sketch for another commission.
-You will have 1 week to accept the refund, otherwise I will keep the money.
-No refunds will be accepted once the commission has been delivered.
5) -My watermark will stay on all digital files and traditional artwork. I will not give you an unwatermarked version.
6) -Do not claim my art as your own, upon doing so you will immediately be blacklisted

BEWARE THIS ARTIST/SCAM

Didn't deliver, poor customer service and refused refund.
Artist: Kyton Legacy (FB)

Why: I commissioned Kyton Legacy here on FB for a digital full body and shaded piece on September 14th. After the transaction I waited three weeks and checked in to see how my commission was coming along on October 5th and they said it was taking slow and that they were having personal problems. I did not receive any wips.
So I waited another two weeks without hearing anything from the artist and check in again on October 16th to see if they were alright and if any progress had been made on my commission. They said commissioned would be delayed further due to personal problems. I still haven't been shown any wips or proof that they were working on other commissions(they didn't submit anything).
I wait another two weeks not hearing anything from the artist and check in on October 25th. They replied saying that commissions were slightly delayed due to corrupt data but that they were almost done. Still no wips provided and no proof that they were working on other commissions(didn't post anything)
I then wait another week and check in again on November 4th and ask if they had a Trello or a list of commissions so I can keep up on the progress and maybe see some wips. I am then met with a long paragraph saying I was nagging and pressuring them and that they would be unable to put effort into my commission or might drop it altogether if I continued to nag or pressure them. I reply apologizing if I sounded rude or nagging and try to explain my concern for the commission, since it had been about three months at that point and no proof of work had been shown.
I am neither reassured or acknowledged for two days after expressing my concerns. Uncomfortable continuing the commission I ask for a refund.
On Nov 8th They tell me that they do not do refunds and that they were suffering from a power outage and other life problems. They say if I want the money to be put to good use I'll wait. I confront them about why they wouldn’t give refunds under those conditions if they are unable to work. But despite all that I give them more time to show me wips but that they should notify me of any delays, also that they should give me an update once a month at least.
I made a post today about this Artist and others have come forth claiming that this artist hasn’t been doing their commissions either. Upon this new information I have decided to file a PayPal claim and post this beware publicly. It is a shame I have to do this because this Artist shows talent. But I am afraid with the overwhelming evidence and poor management skills of this Artist it is apparent that they are not trustworthy.
