Good News: My day job pays well. Bad news: I'm working all the time and have little time to do anything else. Good News: I've dedicated myself to finishing these last three commission pages. Bad News: I've stopped taking commissions for the forseeable future. Good news: I'm going to finish many of my old comics I've left hanging. Bad news: It may take me some time to get to it as I'm finishing the last three pages of Rubberent Evil.... Good News: I've caught up with all my Anime episodes... Bad News: They're still putting out episodes and I have to wait a whole week for them to come out with new ones, plus, WHEN THE FUCK IS THE NEXT STEVEN BOMB COMING OUT!!????

PS: Good/Bad News: My submissions ques are in desperate need of review 382 submissions? It's gonna take forever....

okay, I had an awkward x-mas eve, nothing's more awkward than a sister in law gets a present for your dead cat...

awkward moment over, Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

No, I mean seriously, I can't seem to get it together enough to post more than once a month! It's been one of those situations where the better paid I get at my job, the less art I get done! It's aggravating! I do have a lot of sketchbook stuff I need to scan in and post, but finished digital paints? WTF?? maybe I'm being too bitchy, but I feel I should be getting more done....

Okay, on a less bitchy note, Christmas is almost here! My GF is getting me a couple of awesome T-shirts, and I think one of 'em is the most coveted UNICORN WITH A CHAINSAW T!!!!!!....yeah, that's awesome. Now all I need to do is use my paycheck to go post-Christmas shopping with my GF, a sort of "I spent all my X-mas money on food and bills, so this is your X-mas present" sort of thing....

In addition, I still have to do some Giftart for all the awesome(well maybe not ALL, but a couple) artists I like!! Expect many shitty rip-off versions of all your fave artists' characters!!!DERP.

Yep, turnin' the big 46 tomorrow! Just posting now, for tomorrow I may be too busy to post(GF is off as well!) So far I have a new printer/scanner! looking forward to some b-day cake!

Both this week and next week I'll have more than my fair share of days off, meaning I will have more time to clear out the remaining pages for Rubberent Evil through page 14!! so be on the lookout in the next two weeks! There's more on the way!!

Also, I'm turning 46 on the 18th...and boy, am I feelin' it! Work makes me feel like I've been charlie horsed all over my body. I keep telling myself it's a good workout and keeps me healthy....

Just downloaded Clipart Pro, (again!) and now I'm ready to do some serious comics! Rubberent Evil page 10 is in the works, as is Bare Attack page 11, so look for that as well! I'm also getting caught up on all my anime/cartoon needs thenx to kissanime.com and kisscartoons.me! (the wait for new eps of Steven Universe are killin me!) Plus expect moar art soon, as I will be re-familiarizing meself with my old tablet!

Yeah, so I broke down and got some Real Internet, not the bootleg, half-ass, gotta-stand-by-the-window-to-get-a-slow-ass-$19-ATT-connection internet. Yes, Netflix is still the devil, but I've gotten past the general binge-watching everything I missed stage. It is now time for me to get going on a bunch of stuff, namely killing the procrastination monster and using my days off during the week to get projects done. Plus, with fall coming up, less yardwork, more artwork! FUCK YOU you damn lawn, and you damn garden! HA! Can't wait for Halloween!!!

Yep, I sincerely think there's a rogue skink on the loose in my house...because of all the lizard poop in my living room. At first, I thought it was bird poo, but I quickly realized that no bird could possibly fit under my door, but a lizard could! So, detective work! the poop was half as long as the anoles that live in the yard, but proper size for the blue-tailed skinks that I find lounging on the front steps. Deduction: Skink poop.
In other nws, my work sucks. Full time employment may pay the bills, but it sucks all the time and energy out of my artwork. It's time I take some of that energy back and get to some serious arting!

Yeah, so good news: I now have a permanent job at Lowe's and my hours are changing, so I'll have a bit more time to do commissions now....so bad news: I have to work 4th of July weekend with no backup and no training- thrown to the wolves as it were...

...but GOOD news: My job is a bit less physical than months past so I won't be so damn tired all the time...Bad news: I'll probably gain back all the weight I lost the past 4 months...and my power just went out...STORMY!!!!!

What I've been watching when I was sick for Memorial Day....


...and I finally finished a commission!

If you haven't noticed by now, the volume and frequency of my work has slowed. This is, in part, because of my other job being full time. Part two of this is due to the ever-changing work schedule I'm on, and the precious little time I get to spend with my GF...

This being said, I'm still working on the commissions I have(albeit slowly) and I'm trying to make time for art in my busy schedule, so bear with me!!

Finally got my new computer! Right now I'm just trying to iron out the bugs of using my Surface pro 3 to do artwork...It's a bit "squidgy" and I keep putting "black dots" on the screen when I pull my pen away and hit the screen with another part of my hand. Now my only REAL problem is internet...my GF's Mom's internet is waaaaaaay toooooo sllloooooowww...and sometimes cut off at inopportune times(like the last time I tried to write this journal 3 days ago!!!) So I'm on the hunt for better internet...and working down the load of Commissions I've built up!

A whole lot of things are lining up this next week- I'm going back on days, Master's Week is coming up(Augusta's right across the river!!), and I'm nearly at 2K watchers!!! This means free art for my 2000th watcher and one randomly selected faithful watcher! For those of you who are still waiting for commissions, I'm still on it!!

Yeah, so I'm doing two weeks of night stocking at Lowe's...Good part: no customers bug me with their "you're wearing a Lowe's smock therefore you're an expert at answering all my obscure home repair/decor questions about (something I don't know)", the bad part is that I usually sleep all day and miss my window to do artwork and commissions and stuff. Yeah, so I'm on week 2 of two, and it started off with spraypaint fumes from the next aisle over (doing a reset) and I'm trippin' cuz I keep smelling orange icing- the stuff that goes on those Pillsbury orange-glazed swirls....and Ozzy is singing "Flying High Again" in my head...wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so losing my job on V-Day wasn't as tragic as I thought...after one week of application hell and another of interview hell, I'm now employed once more! There's a possibility that this job will be only for a season, but I'm hoping I'll do well enough to stay on permanently. Even so, I don't start till next week, and I'm still wide open as far as commissions are concerned!!

Yeah, so I got fired this Valentines Day...which leads to "I might not get a new computer" which leads to "I need commissions badly!!!"

Yeah, so I really need commissions. Please note me, $10 single character sketch, $15 multi-character sketch and $45 for color commissions and comic pages.

Not a real big fan of the ol' V-day thing, even with a GF. Past V-day fiascoes included getting broken up with or doing something that caused a break-up. Even in a stable relationship I've been in for the last nine years, it's something that stresses me out....I gotta really come up with a card that tops previous years(I make her watercolor V-day cards)...I'm thinking cool DOD/V-day skull...or a fox painting.

On other fronts, I'm still trying to finish my commission for  lZarrockl !! please be patient! I'm almost done!! I'm sure when I get my new computer, commissions will go faster, as in, I won't have to wait for certain times to use the computer!
