Posted 11 years agoWell its been bouncing around my brain for years, and now I can't leave the house half the time (medical prob) it's time I finally started the Model Railway I wanted (also start building the Dalek Full size, Will be made out of the same wood might as well order extra so I can build both)
I already have a DCC Starter Set, cheap Hornby E-link thing but it works alright once I fixed the locos wheels, would love to model Australian but its cheaper if I model British in 00 Gauge (though we will see if that changes latter)
First step designing the module base board system (yay), specs for first ones 120cm each long by 60cm deep X2 of those (will need 6 in total but to get me started one side of the layout will do) and 60cm x 60cm for the corner ends
I wanted to ask if anyone here knows of any groups on FA or else where about Model Railways (Railroading, Trains) sadly for the same reason I am stuck at home I can't get to the local (well in the city 90KM away) modeling club or model shops (but that is what the internet is for)
Would love to be out there living a life, finding a girlfriend (maybe), but I have little choice so oh well.
Will also be trying to maybe (I don't think I will be able to learn the skills) get back into art again,

Head is coming along well got the fur on it (apart form the ears hehe) need to glue around the nose, eyes and mouth and then trim the fur (wish me luck on that) then maybe extend the fur down the neck a little more, oh yeah need to add a zip or some thing in the back.
I will put up a photo of how it is now soon (will likely put it over on my Fursuit/Photo account )
Other things:
was coloring a pic for a friend the other day I had forgotten how good easy my tablet(wacom) was to use for that, might have to get back in to drawing and such

It felt like this was the second time I had this dream though I don't remember it from the first time,

Also I am hoping to make a start on a new suit soon (couldn't finish blue for now he will have to wait until I work it out) this new suit will be a generic German Shepard
Any links to tutorials about suit making would be greatly helpful.

dang got a reading of 43 Celsius that is 109.4 on the Fahrenheit scale or 316.15 Kelvin scale or 569.07 Rankine scale
Sure its not the hottest it can get here but its still hot!!
On to other things: I went out and bought my self Windows 8 , Its the best OS I have used since XP it doesn't crash, only have had two programs crash but that was because of me not the OS, it plays my games better they even look better, the Metro Start screen takes some getting used to (but if I don't want it I can turn it off and go back to the start menu) the task manager is better, and I am Loving the little notification slide ins.
(I don't want to see comments like Windows 8 sucks get a mac or get win7 or vista or Linux or anything else like that I have all of them except for the mac (which I don't have the money for and wont likely have money for it any time soon.)
comments are to be nice with friendly tips or questions. like: "can windows 8 do ....... ?" or " You know you could get a mac really really! cheap here .. LINK .. " they are acceptable comments :P thank you. )
