Anyone going to dragoncon???

I'm leaving in just 5 hours, 3am in the morning! leave from ohio so got a bit of a drive. My mate  lildragondraco is going with me, my mom is driving us down and paying for most of the gas and hotel XD and then my dad is coming down to take her away on a mini vacation back up to maine.

So me n Draco will be running around the con, will have our badges. And I'll be walking around wearing my furry white ears and tail. Going to try and have atleast a badge on at all times so i can be identified XD

So at my work I work in the Promotions and Marketing team, also as a Inventory Analyst. I'm one of the only people who work on Saturday and we had an event where they sent us a 'character costume'. When I got the email for this I squealed in delight! Tho my co-workers were a lil concerned XD

So they sent us a grey kitty cat costume, and I JUMPED to be the one to wear it. Others wanted too, but I squished my way forward. I was the only one there, and i wouldn't have to get over time to do it.

Getting into was easy..... but the first 10 mins I had sweat dripping down my face. The body suit wasn't that bad, I actually wish I had worn a skin tight long sleeve shirt rather than my tank top and I would have been MUCH better off. They head was the worst part!!! My spotter did a good job, cause vision was TERRIBLE!!! But i didn't hurt myself or anyone else XD

But it was SOOOO much fun being inside, I didn't do any talking just lots of miming and all that cute stuff. I scared a co-worker when walking by, and I didn't have alot of scared kids. I was on my knees alot when they came up, so I only had a that were timid and scared. Didn't have any big cries.

BUT!!! Over all it was FUN!! Will be posting some pics in a few mins, cause I had to share.

My mates gone at the moment, he's about 6 hours away at the Gathering of the juggalos. No cell service at all.... AND IT SUCKS!

I miss him alot, I think of the things we've done together and what we want to do. And just how much I love being with him. Even before he left I've been doing lots of thinking.

I've never had a relationship this long before, I've had guys ask me out tho I think most of them was just to get into my pants. And I've only had one other 'relationship' but I only say that it lasted 5 days. But i knew the guy for 3 years, and I'm happy it went no where cause he was an asshole.

But then Draco came along. he is the first person that I've ever spent so much time with. I love being able to text him when I'm at work, talking to get through my day. Our chatting when he comes home from work on SL or YIM. Even if its just a lil 'hey'. The fact that I know he is there for me. I love looking forward to each weekend cause thats usually when I get to see him, maybe once a week. And it makes my week go by so much faster, waiting to see him. These 3 months have gone by so fast.

I've never been a cuddly, touchy feely person. But with him, it all just seems so right. I love it! And with him gone.... gosh. I have to keep myself busy or else I start thinking bout him and I get all mopey. Knowing that I have to wait for him to come back. Was with a group of friends last night, and we were all laughing and joking around and it made me miss him cause he wasn't there. I just wish he would have been there so I could have just rested against him and cuddle.

He's changed so much about me, the way I do things, the way I think. And its all been for the best.

I am just soo happy that I met him, and it was something that might not have happened. But we did meet, and from the day I first saw him I never thought I would be where I am now with him. I was always wary about relationships, but now that I am in one, I realize how much I have been missing out on all this time. This is my 3rd con, 2nd one that is a furcon. And its close to me too, I only have to drive north 2 hours and I'm there.

I have no idea what to do, just gonna run around and hit up the panels. i don't really personnally know anyone that is going. So its gonna be odd at first.

Well... Horses can't really be house trained, they can... but i have no need for it XD
All the others, yes. Tho Abby has a tendancy to pee if you leave her alone in room.

Coloring?
Isis just looks like a siamese cat
Spike is a Red/Cream color
Boogie is a Dark Bay/Seal Brown Varnish roan (red around muzzle, and legs, whitish grey body with 1 dark grey spot, and dark grey/white/black mane and tail)
Moon is considered a Few Spot, Pure White (when clean, she LOVES to roll in the mud) with a few brown spots on her fur. When she gets wet she looks like a dalmation
Cyan has a dark blue/black body, with pretty periwinkle blue fins with a few darker spots near the edges
Abby is supposed to be a pure white poodle, but still has a peach tint to her ears, i hope it goes away

Whats one thing your pet does that makes him/her unique?
Isis is VERY independant, only wants attention she needs something XD
Boogie is VERY stubborn, and REALLY smart! Tho she can be quite lazy.
Moon is a puzzle, I always wonder what she has been through being a Katrina rescue, and we think she has been abused. So I wish she could tell me her story
Cyan swims in crazy circles when he knows its feeding time, it cracks me up
Abby is SOOO energetic, and full of life while being a puppy she has already shown how smart she is.


Is your pet your best buddy?
Yup! They know when I'm down, and each cheer me up when I need it. They let me get away, and get my mind off things.

YES! I've dealth with alot with Spike from a broken leg, an emergengy neutering surgery, and now we just found out that his whole life he's had a heart murmer and our old vet of like 8 years never found out about it.
And Boogie she she got Colic... I never cried so much and so hard, it messed me up bad.

She's a white standard poodle, and we'll also have to come up with a registered name for her. but first we need a name to call her by XD
