After what happened at MFF with a certain someone, my worsening panic attacks, and my seemingly bad luck as of late in the romantic department, I'm seriously considering pulling back from several things... maybe when I'm in Michigan next week I can just hide out and stay there... become a house boy or something.

I've been such a productive lombax as of late, got all my stuff sorted out, and got rid of more than half of it, figure I'll leave the rest in storage until I move back. I don't really need a lot to survive anyway, some clothing, my laptop, a few stuffed animals and my bedding. Been so busy as of late it's hard to keep up with things, but i'm working on it, I'll get there :3

Time off, check, place to stay, check, extra dollars if I have to stick around for a bit, check. I told her I'd be there for her, and I will, I just hope it doesn't take forever.

So I find myself in a new area, surrounded by new people, and working a new job. It's been stressful but this is exactly what I needed a change. I'll be back in Michigan at the beginning of September to take care of some family matters, then it's back down here for good. I hope this is the right decision, but only time will tell.

I just commissioned something a few days ago that I'm very excited to get. I've already got 2 sketches... and I must say they are already amazing, the artist working on this has some amazing skills, and I can't wait to see the final product. it may shock some of you, but I hope it doesn't scare anyone away. We all have different views of ourselves, and this piece is just one of the different views I have of myself.

I think I have a problem, I just commissioned a few more pieces of art... I might be turnin into one of those folks that constantly commissions stuff. I need to stop. I NEED AN ADULT!

I believe I still have 3 or 4 commissions pending, but I'll be posting one or two tonight that I haven't had a chance to yet. Finally getting some good art of Blu, and art with some special people, something I haven't done before. It makes me feel fuzzy inside <3

So some good news and some bad news. Good news is I just got a raise at work, which was a nice 'birthday' present heh. Also, in 2-3 months I should be moving out into my own place, baring any issues. The overtime I put in during the holidays and all the additional projects I picked up for another purpose that didn't really pan out seems to have been worth it now... I'll be able to live by myself, which is super exciting! Bad news is by moving out by myself, I won't be able to go to as many cons as I planned to. I'll probably keep it small, just go to MCFC, AC, iFC and MFF. They are all pretty local and a 4 hour drive is totally worth it~

Birthday weekend was pretty fun, hung out with some peoples, drank and got otherwise intoxicated, played some video games and watched movies. I can honestly say I couldn't have asked for more for my birthday. <3 for all of you.

I cracked again. I'm smoking again. Sad lombax.

So as I indicated on my first journal... I might have some good news, and I do. It's official. I'm going to be a father. Got the news earlier today that she is indeed with child~ Her and her partner will be raising the child as their own, and while I am just a doner, they will keep me in the loop, probably an uncle at first, then when the child is old enough, let him/her know the truth. I'm... extremely happy about this, I actually started crying when I heard the news. It's a wonderful thing to be able to help bring a life into this world, and i'm going to do what I can to be an awesome 'uncle'

So i haven't done one of these yet, but I figured I should so I can be cool, right? Been a busy year for this lombax, jobs, moving, my first con. Even with the ups and downs, I think it's been all in all a good year. I learned a lot of things, met a buncha new people, some of them amazing, some of them not so much, went to 3 furry cons, iFC, Furlaxation, and MFF, and I know I'll be going to a lot more. I'm going to try for GLFC, MCFC, AC, iFC, whatever they are renaming Fur Fright, and MFF again. Hmmm, other wise, getting a few new pieces of art, and in a few weeks, I might be getting some amazing news... if all goes well. I think that's all, so thanks for reading! :)
