Been awhile since I've last been on here. Been a matter of not having the time or energy to do house cleaning on this profile as well as not having too much art to have to post in the past years since I've last posted something. So, expect a bunch of art posts from my backlog of furry art of my characters. ^^;

As for what's going on in my life, besides the pandemic, I was working pretty regularly for a pretty chill job up until a month ago when our contract wasn't renewed and I decided to just move on. I'm taking a break before I jump back in and taking the chance to figure out what to do. I'm not getting any younger so my options are shrinking based on my lack of education and diminishing physical ability. Not that I can't work a physical labor based job, but I've had my fill of those and I don't think I could handle it for more than a few days with the shape I'm in. -_-
So for now I'm just relaxing and trying to fix my sleep schedule and re-calibrate my life right now.

The only other notable thing that's happened since my last posts was a pretty big one. I lost my mother last year due to cancer. It was a pretty painful experience to watch her diminish before my eyes, though she seemed pretty content with her decision to just ride out the last days of her life instead of continuing treatment. I at least got to spend time with her and enjoy the last days I got to spend with her. A good a mount of sitcoms and gameshows and the occasional sports game. Lots of Seinfeld, as fitting. It's our favorite show to watch together. Since her passing I've tried to visit her for important dates like her birthday, mother's day, my birthday and so on. Fortunately she's buried near her parents who are all located about 20 minutes away. I still feel the void of her not being here. Not being able to call her or text her about things going on in our lives or the world. We loved talking about all kinds of things, even politics. I feel like I could talk to her about anything. I even came out to her about being bi and crossdressing during the pandemic. She will be missed, but as time does, I too will move on.

Anywho, not sure after this dump of art how much longer I'll be posting more art. I have more or less moved on from this site, but I drop in now and then to see what's going on. Honestly, with age and a changing environment, things just aren't the way they used to be for me. I can't be as focused on the things I used to do a decade ago when I was regularly on here. Sometimes, you just have to move on.
We'll see what comes of the future. For now it's up in the air. In the meantime, enjoy the art. ^_^

Found out I'll have an extra day having the place to myself so that allows me a bit more opportunity to stream.
I have to take care of a couple things and at 6 PST I'll be watching an important playoff game until around 9. After that I might stream a little bit. Depends on my energy level after. My sleep schedule is all over the place right now, so I don't know if I'll be well awake by 9pm like I normally would be or dead tired like I've been for the past couple days.
For sure though I'll be streaming tomorrow. Not sure about time though. Could stream a bit early in the day, but will most likely be on in the afternoon into the evening and possibly even late at night. Also depends on when I get to sleep tonight.
As for what I'll be playing, most votes were for playing some of the games I planned to play during the marathon a couple weeks ago, before I crashed and burned after the first 4 days.
I might post a poll/strawpoll to let you guys decide which of those games I play for the streams, but I think I know I'm going to play anyway. The options will be from the following games:

First, I want to apologize for how the marathon ended a couple weeks ago. Something came up and I had to take of some things and run some errands. Combined with the long hours of the marathon and lack of sleep, I was pretty drained and didn't have the energy to concentrate on video games. A few of you were tuned in regularly, so I'm sorry you didn't get to see the end and the games that were slated to be played. :(
As a result though, my sleep schedule is kind of out of whack and I'm still having trouble sleeping. All the current stress and financial problems have been weighing on me lately. It's been keeping me from streaming or gaming in general. Hopefully, I can get things back on track over the next 5 days or so.
Which would be good timing as I'll have a few days next week to stream. Won't be an all day thing, but I'll try to get in a good 4 or 5 hours or so for you guys. I'll be posting polls asking you all if I should try to finish off the lineup I had planned for the marathon, with a few cuts to keep from going too long or to continue one of my other LPs. Most likely Final Fantasy 7.

Speaking of funds, I'm down to asking my folks for help as I'm down to $50 left to my name. Looking into selling some items, but I can't rely too much on that getting me much. :P
I don't feel I'm ready to go back to work yet, but I might not have a choice if things continue this way. Still not sure where to apply and what kind of work I can do. Problem is, I just don't have the education for a decent job and all the skills jobs will likely require more than a high school diploma. So, I just don't know what to do at the moment.

The lack of funds has also affected my Second Life experience a bit as I've had to abandon some land I purchased awhile ago because the fee for owning the land was costing me too much. Which is sad as I really like that place. T-T
I still have the default land you get for having a premium account, but I will have to abandon that too at the start of June if I can't afford the fee. It won't be anything new to me as I wandered SL for awhile without owning land, but I'll miss having a digital spot to call me own there. Probably doesn't matter though as hardly anyone ever visits. It feels more like a cell than house and I don't mean that in fun and kinky way. It's pretty lonely. Aside from not having time, I haven't had anyone to talk to or hang out with there much, and not for lack of trying. So, I haven't been on SL a whole lot these days. I still like it and I still have fun with it when I can interact with people. Otherwise, it's just not that fun for me.

That's about it really. Sorry, I don't have happier or more entertaining news to give you guys. I hope that might change in the coming weeks or months.

First off, Happy New Year everyone! After how this last year has went, I'm happy to put it behind me and kick off 2016.

Second, with the start of the new signals that's it's time for Awesome Games Done Quick. I've been trying to plug this and it's sister event Summer Games Done Quick for a couple years now and I will continue to do so. AGDQ is a video game speed running marathon where some of the best speed runners in the gaming community get together and put their skills and strats (slang for strategies) to the test for our entertainment and for charity. During the week-long marathon, people can donate to the event and 100% of it goes to the Prevent Cancer Foundation. You can donate during certain games and game blocks to win prizes, donate to decide certain incentives for the runners to give them a harder or more entertaining run, or you can just donate just because. It's an awesome event for an awesome cause. Check it out. :)

Lastly, updates! Not much to say really other than I've a series of health issues over the last couple months: gout, throat and ear infection, and shoulder and back pains. Nothing serious, but I've had to take time off work to recover and it's made things a bit edgy for me at my job on top of all the stress it's been giving me. Not sure what my future is in terms of employment, but hopefully things can either settle down at my current job or I can find another job that will pay about as well as this one. Here's hoping. :P
I also haven't been streaming or posting any videos of my streams and Let's Plays lately, in part because of the health issues and the stress and the creeping depression both have been bringing on. I really want to rectify this, but I want to get settled in and enjoy some time off without worrying about my body crapping out on me. I want to do a stream or two this week while I have the free time and I will likely be continuing Final Fantasy 7 if I do.
I'd also like to ease myself back into writing again, but I don't know when I'll be getting those going. I've been debating on continuing current stories or starting up new ones, specifically one I've been working on my older account. A couple of you know about it as I've brought it up to you privately in the past. Still up in the air. Question marks.

But even though it's 10 days away, that's still plenty of time to get in a Halloween-themed story or a pic of someone wearing a costume. Remember the quality doesn't have to be top notch, just good enough that we can tell what the costume is and who's wearing it. Whether it be a fully colored and shaded detailed work of art or lineart or a detailed sketch. And stories don't have to be long. A maximum of 20 pages, but 5-10 pages is preferred. Short and sweet. ;)

So it's time to get this ball rolling and kick off the return of my annual Halloween Costume Contest!

Details:
The concept is simple...
Submit a piece of art or a story that features characters dressed up in costumes for Halloween.
Who is featured and what they are dressed up as doesn't really matter, just so long as the costume is clear. In the case of stories, please be sure to give details on the costume. A link to a reference pic in the submission's description helps as well. However, stories will be judged by a different criteria than artwork as art will focus more on the costumes and stories will focus more on...well...story.
Artwork can feature actions, poses, backgrounds, etc. but must focus on the costume the character or characters are wearing. Yes, you may have multiple characters in the pic. Preferably all of or most of them should be wearing costumes, but they don't need to. Just so long as one character in the pic is wearing a costume. In the case of multiple characters in multiple costumes, you may choose one of those characters to be the "contestant" in the contest or if there is a group costume theme, all of those in the theme can be chosen as a group to be the contestant. For example, if you have three characters in the pic and each are dressed as separate characters from separate media (someone dressed as Dracula, someone dressed as Blade, and someone dressed as Edward) you pick one of them to be the costume entered into the contest. But if you have a group theme (the same examples, but grouped together with the theme "vampires") you can enter all of them as one costume entry under that theme, like if a group of characters are dressed as the Avengers as opposed to someone dressed as Captain America and someone dressed as Black Widow.
Make sense? ;)
Content doesn't matter as much, but adding a background, having a a good quality image, having the character(s) engaging in some sort of an activity, having an overall spooky/scary/horror/Halloween theme all will help as there will be other categories other than Best Costume. But your main focus should be on the costume so don't worry too much about other details if you don't want to. Overall content must by no worse than PG-13 in terms of maturity, violence, vulgarity, etc. So things like nudity and sexual content, graphic violence, and heavy vulgarity are not allowed. Art or story. Any of these can be suggested or implied by not shown or described. Sort of like the shower scene in Psycho. You don't see the victim naked or being stabbed, but it's implied she is naked and that she is being murdered with showing her skin on screen just above her chest on up and showing fake blood go down the shower drain. In the case of something like zombies, let's avoid detail like in The Walking Dead (torso crawling on the floor for example) and go closer towards the original Dawn of the Dead or Night of the Libing Dead. If you have any questions and want to ask just how far is too far, feel free to note me. The same applies to stories, try not to get too detailed with the mature stuff. Again, implying and suggesting, but not actually showing or detailing. ;P
Bondage in this case is okay as I can't imagine anyone potentially wanting to draw/write Jessie into their entry without involving bondage. You don't have to, but if you want, it's okay with me. Just so long as we can get a good look at the costume. Now, I say you can have Jessie in your entry, and in truth you can have anyone in costume in your entry. If it involves a character belonging to someone, IE an OC, so long as they are okay with you using their character. You can use any of my characters to be included in your entry. It won't earn you extra votes, or at least it shouldn't. :P
For artwork entries it doesn't have to be drawn by you, but be sure to reference who drew it. It's possible that the artist and the person their art to enter the contest can share the prize won, but that is between you and the artist. It should also be noted that a single artist's artwork can be represented in multiple entries if for example multiple people ask said artist to draw their entry for them. However, if said artist wants to have a share in the prize, should an entry with their art win, they must decide which entry they will do this with before the deadline for entries. For example, "ARTIST A" has drawn 3 pics that are entered into the contest by three separate contestants. Should they decide they want to split the prize with one of those contestants, and only one, they must decide who and inform me before all entries are received. I want to avoid the possibility of an artist trying to increase their odds of winning by having multiple people submit their work and claim a portion of the prize with whomever won. If you and an artist work out a deal to split the prize should your entry win you can do so, but that is up to you and said artist. I would recommend against it. Too many complications. This also applies in the case that an artist submits their own entry while someone has submitted artwork that same artist has drawn. They can only claim a prize from their own entry. This hasn't been an issue in the past, but I want to address it just in case.
Stories must be written by you. In the case of a collaboration between yourself and another person, note me with the details I will decide if it is legal. Ultimately, it will simply mean that you and your collaborator will share the prize. Like with artists however, one person can only collaborate with one other person. Person A cannot collaborate with Person B on one entry and then collaborate with Person C on another entry. If you work with someone on a story you cannot work with anyone else on another.
As with both Art and Story, you can only have or be a part of one entry.
This also includes having both a story and art. You can only enter one, so decide whether it will be the art or the story. You can work on both and decide which one you'll enter, but I will only accept one or the other.
Another thing to note about entries, they must be unique to this contest. In other words, you cannot submit art or a story that was done prior to this contest, IE the 1st of October of 2015. It must be new. No exceptions. If you have a question or complaint about this feel free to note me.

The 1st of October will be the start of the contest and will be the time you all can start submitting your entries. All entries must be submitted by Friday night, October 25 at 11:59/midnight PST. If you're close to completing you entry by this point and wish for an extension, note me and I may grant you one. If extensions are granted, the deadline for those will be Sunday night, October 27 at 11:59/midnight PST. Once the deadline is past voting will be held, Anyone can vote even contestants, however contestants can not vote for their own entry. The must vote for someone else's. This is to avoid the super rare case of a mass tie where every contestant only voted for themselves and they are the only ones who voted. Voters will not me their vote for the following criteria:
ART: Best Costume (which costume do you like the most or you think is the best designed)
Best Picture (which picture do to you think best represents Halloween or in the case we don't have many entries that represent this, is simply the best looking)
STORY: Best Story (which story do you think best represents the spirit of Halloween or is simply the best told story)

The best 3 costumes will each win a prize in increasing value based on who's entry had the most votes, the 2nd most votes, and 3rd most votes.
The best picture will win a separate prize and it's possible that a single entry can place in best costume and win best picture.
Best story will win a separate prize.

The prizes are:
BEST COSTUME:
-1st Place: $50 towards a commission from the artist of your choice
-2nd Place: $30 towards a commission from the artist of your choice
-3rd Place: $20 towards a commission from the artist of your choice

BEST PICTURE:
-$50 towards a commission from the artist of your choice

BEST STORY:
-$50 towards a commission from the artist of your choice

Each of these prizes has an incentive to increase in value by as much an additional $10-15 should you want to include one of my characters in the commission.
In the event that one entry places for BEST COSTUME and also wins BEST PICTURE, the prizes can be combined towards a single commission or can be kept separate for two different commissions. You commission can exceed the amount you win, but that simply means that I am paying that much towards the commission and you will have to cover the remainder.
If you win anyone of these prizes, but don't want money towards a commission, we can discuss another form of payment for the prize, like if you want to donate the money or you want it towards your account with Steam or Amazon or something else in that regard, we can discuss the particulars when the contest if over. I have the right to reject any ideas though, like if you want it going towards me going out on a date with you or something silly like that. ;P

As for advertising and trying to rally the troops for votes, you may post journals and messages to promote this contest and ask people to participate in it or just in the voting process, but please do not rally people just to vote for you. Please just encourage them to vote and vote on the entry they like best. If that happens to be you, then that's how it goes, but I would prefer things be honest and fair here. Don't just vote on the entry because you like the person who submitted it. If you like the entry itself, then okay, but please let's try to keep bias out of this when it comes to the contestants. K? ^.~

Also worth noting, this contest will be held on my DA account and my FA account. So for those who have accounts on both sites, please be honest and fair and do not use separate accounts to submit additional entries and cast multiple votes. PLEASE!

It's time to get this ball rolling. Too many things have been interrupting me from streaming lately and it's time I take action!
FF7 is a long game and it's going to take many sessions to get it finished, so the more play time I can get in the better.

First off, let me announce again that I am planning to start streaming Chrono Trigger next week and each stream I do from that point on will be Chrono Trigger until it's complete. Not sure how many sessions it will take, but I plan on playing it until the end and hopefully you guys will join me on the stream whenever you can. :)

For right now, until the stream starts, what I need from you guys is some help with naming the characters. In many classic RPGs, especially in the 90's, you the player has the option to rename the characters in your party. Now, I could simply do that myself, but I want to make this a little bit more interactive for you guys and let you have the opportunity to name the characters. All you need to do is this:
-Send me a note or an email with your choice name for each character (email: jessie_all_tied_up@hotmail.com)
(I want an equal amount of options to choose from for each character and the only way I can do that is if you give me a names for all the characters that are playable)
-The names are limited to a maximum of 5 characters (letters and numbers). It's a bit limiting, I know, but that's how the developers made it. I can't change that. You can tweek your choice to fit into five characters, like "DVant" (Deviant) or "Lkhrt" (Lockhart)
-In the note, give me the actual name of the character with your choice for what I'll rename that character right next to it
(For example... Crono: Dude or Marle - Lady or something like that)
-You can only give me one option per character. No multiple options for a single character. Just one.
-I need names for ALL of the characters that are playable, not just the ones you like.
-Please refrain from using anything profane, like "A Penis" or something else like that.
-If you pick a name that's already been given to me by someone else, I'll ask you to give me a different name.
-When there's about a day or two left before I start streaming, I'll pick the best 3,4, or 5 options and post them in polls for you all to vote on. The winning name will be the name used for that character.
-Voting for each name will last right up until the last minute just before I name the character. After that, voting will stop. In the event of a tie, I will choose between the tied names. So, the more clever and/or fun the name, the better chance it has to be selected for voting as well as selected in case of a tie. But don't think too hard on it.

I would really appreciate a lot of support for this. I don't want to have to just pick the names myself because there weren't enough options. That's boring. I can do that in a casual playthrough. I want you guys to have the fun of picking the names. K?
Even if you can't catch the stream or even intend to watch the recordings I post on my YouTube account, I still want your participation. Please?

I will at least announce the winning names in future journals so you know if any of your entries won.
I may do a prize, but if I do it will be something minimal like buying a sketch or something. No promises though.

Ayla: Badass cavewoman from 65 Million BC. She is a bit sexualized with a flirty style. Likes to use her muscles for most of her attacks.

Robo: Well-mannered, yet bruiser of a robot from the bleak future of 2300 AD. Utilizes a variety of physical and technological attacks and is also a strong healer.

Lucca: Scientific genius and inventor as well as Crono's best friend from the present time of 1000 AD. Utilizes fire based attacks and bombs and rocks an awesome pistol. WONDERSHOT HYPE!

Marle: Mysterious girl with a link to the royal family of the present of 1000 AD. Tomboyish and a bit of a cheerleader. Rocks a crossbow, Ice based attacks, and is the primary healer and suooort.

Crono: The game's silent protagonist and all-round badass hero from the present of 1000 AD. Comes from a rare breed known as "ginger heroes" (Thanks Pat) and is proficient with a katana for a variety of weapon based attacks as well as lightning based attacks.

Frog: Galant swashbuckling amphibian from the middle ages of 600 AD. An excellent swordsman boasting some weapon based attacks as well as water based attacks and some proficiency at healing.

There is also one other optional character you encounter later in the game and a mandatory naming of a special vehicle you acquire just past the midway point of the game. I will ask for naming options for the vehicle a week in advance of encountering it as well as the option to decide if we get the optional party member or not and if we do get them, what their name will be. Savy?

So, I've decided I want to start playing Chrono Trigger for my next few streams, starting next week about this time. Either Saturday or Sunday or maybe even both.

In advance I want all of you to submit your idea for names for the characters:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to come up with a name for each of these characters to be used during the stream as that character's name to be used throughout the game. The limit is 5 characters (letters , numbers, punctuation, etc.). No curse words or derogatory words of any kind. That being said, feel free to be creative. OR you can even just submit your own name and names of friends/people you like. Whatever tickles your fancy. ;)

I WILL be recording these streams and posting them on my YouTube account, so you can watch in case you're unable to catch the stream live.

There will be a couple other things needing names, including an optional character and a vehicle, which we'll get to later. For now I want names for these six characters.

Streaming tonight after work. Will be playing Binding of Isaac again, be ready for randomness!
I'm also announcing next weeks stream for either Saturday night and/or Sunday night for Chrono Trigger. Since there didn't seem to be a clear cut candidate from the choices I brought up, I decided to just go with Chrono Trigger. I really want a good weeks advance notice so people can give me names for the characters. Will post a journal later when I get home, but start thinking of names if you know the characters and send me a note with your choices for each character. Maximum number of characters for each name is 5, so choose wisely. ;)

So, first off, apologies to anyone who is following me on Twitch, waiting for me to stream again. I intend to stream more, but haven't been able to around to it yet. Primarily because I've started my first Let's Play on my YouTube channel and I want to get a good schedule of that going where I post a new episode every other day or so. It's a bit tough as the program I'm using to put the videos together takes awhile to compile, mostly because it's free. But it means that posting one video can take as many as 4 or 5 hours: 1 hour of gameplay, about 15-20 minutes of editing and testing the recording, and then about 2-3 hours to put it together and upload it. Fun. :P

I could stream while this is going on, but given the amount CPU that was being used for my first couple streams, the quality would be very sub par if I had several other programs running at the same time as the stream. I might do some testing to see what I can get away with, but for now, it is what it is.
And of course, the other problem is not making too much noise. Because I work nights and I'm a night owl, it only leaves time to stream and record at night and my roommates live right above me and the work during the day. So, the last thing I want to do is wake them up, which I think I did last night while recording. Oops. XP

Anyway, I still intend to stream and on some kind of a consistent schedule. Possibly once a week on Sundays with the rest of the week dedicated to recording my current LP and future LPs. As for future LPs and games to stream, I have a few in mind I want to start off with and I'd like some feed back on which ones I do:
-Chrono Trigger
-Final Fantasy 6 and/or 7
-Super Metroid
And of course along with more Binding of Isaac, there a couple games I don't own yet, but plan to get that I want to play for you guys as well:
-Darkest Dungeon
-Battleblock Theater
As well as a multitude of other games I own, but don't have the ability to capture on video yet. ;D

For the 3/4 mentioned above, I'd like to hear which ones you would like to see me play. Between FF6 and FF7, I'd prefer 6 just because I know it better, but if I get a lot of support for 7 I'll play it over 6. I'd especially like to do a stream of either Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger with the other one done afterwards at some point. I'd also want to get a bit of audience participation by having you guys help me decide on what to name the characters. Should either of those be picked, the idea would be that I post the best 5 names, including one of my choosing and the best 4 suggestions made to me, for each character and you all vote on it. Either that or I just go with the best or most voted for name from the chat as I stream the game. I like the first option better, but I'd also like to get the chat in on the fun too. I'll figure it out, but please give me some insight on these ideas and let me know which of the 3 games between FF, CT, and SM you want me to focus on streaming or recording.

I started feeling an itch once I started streaming and posting my first LP and was an itch I needed to scratch.
I wanted to jump head first into a full LP from beginning to end and it's possible I bit off more than I can chew when I decided it would be the PS2 classic (IMHO), Summoner. This is a big game that can span many hours of gameplay and I'm playing it on a format I hadn't played it on before, PC. It's like discovering it anew all over again. I'm taking a big leap hear and I may just fall flat on my face, but it was something I really wanted to do and because the game has to take up your whole screen to play it, posting the gameplay in a series of videos online as opposed to streaming it felt like the best way to go. I'm also experimenting with some added effects like a custom made intro using game art and thematic music. I hope it works and at least comes out decent. Check it out and please let me know what you think. :)

Currently, I only have a couple runs of The Bindig of Isaac, but as my library of games grows so will the games I run.
I may do a few more runs of Isaac before jumping into something new, but I'm currently looking at running such games as Final Fantasy 7, Summoner, Shantae: Risky's Revenge, as well a some SNES games I have on emulator like Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts, and many more games. If Ican get my hands on a good game capture device for my PS2 and PS3 I'll have many more to run. :)
I may ultimately just do basic LPs of some of these games, but we'll see.

If anyone is interested in catching my stream or interested in watching some LPs, let me know which games you'd like to see. I'll work on a list of what I have access to and what I plan to get for the future.

Primarily my streams and LPs are going be during the late evening most nights after work. I live in Cali in the US so it will be about 11 or midnight my time when I run most games. I may just do recordings during those times and save streams for my days off. Depends on how much interest I generate. ;P

Much better stream this time around. Still need to work on a few things, but the game ran smoothly as did the stream. Got a couple hours of gaming in and managed to win at least once. I also got a great highlight moment of a totally epic fail. XD
