hi. for those in the know and those out of the know, for a long time i used this very dark background for ALL of my pieces and that included sketches and doodles! it made the linework very hard to see and on some phones in broad daylight actually impossible. so i've been thinking lately that i could open up a google form or you can tell me directly in notes or in DMs if there's a piece or several you'd like updated and/or revamped!! ^w^

these don't have to be limited to stuff currently on FA, but it'd be helpful since i just have to update the submission file. as long as there's a sketch i've done that you'd like updated to my nice new light grey color, i can do it!! and hell, i'll update the original telegram posts, too.

so a few months ago i was doing really fucking well. i got diagnosed for depression and mild anxiety ane got meds, and i've been getting my shit back on track! then after i went on a vacation that went on waaaay too long with my parents and i think a trauma switch flipped in my brain and now i've been doing fucking godawful

sleep's gotten worse, bought a new bed but my boxspring is broken so it doesn't mean anything, getting really shit at keeping up my hygeine and healthy habits, just in general i crashed spectacularly. i feel like i'm known for being pretty consistent with art but lately in the past two months i've done what, two full colored drawings? opposed to how before i was pumping them out fairly smoothly

but that's no big deal, i feel. i still rather enjoy sketchy stuff and not having to worry about colors or shading, because while polishing and perfecting is great for a nicer piece, my shit's messy no matter what. i don't clean it up that much, not to most artist's standards. sketches just capture the motions and the shapes i want. it's fuckin dope!

so expect a LOT of sketches in this next art dump, hopefully coming in an hour or so. and i put them in my gallery unless it's super sketchy, because i feel like these works of (f)art are still. works of art. like i put as much love into that horny mewtwo latex porn as i did the lazy rushed fairyfloss sketch you'll be seeing shortly(in case you haven't already, which you can at my telegram channel heheheh >:3333). vastly different levels of effort, same passion behind it. and as a reminder to any artist literally anything you put out is gonna be fuckin fantastic and great. like just because you didn't color it or shade it or put a million different layers of rendering IT'S A LABOR OF LOVE and you deserve to feel good about it no matter how perfect it COULD look.
