My father recently died unexpectedly and my family and I have thus fallen behind on the bills since my brother and I have now had to take over as the main breadwinners. We’ve always worked, but we’ve had to find new jobs.

We are doing everything we can, selling whatever my father had of value, and we’re waiting on his life insurance, but until that comes in, we could really use the extra help.

Hi everyone. I haven’t been shopping for laptops or other stuff in quite a long time. So I’m hoping someone here can help me.

I’m looking to do some YouTube content (for details please message me privately) and so I’ll be looking into a camcorder, a new laptop and something for going digital with artwork.

If anybody can recommend a laptop, tablet, or camera (the more the better), please comment here. I’m on a bit of a budget, I won’t be getting a better salary until next year so this YouTube channel is gonna help me hopefully.

My college payment is approximately $450 USD. I have to pay this by April 13th. My family is trying to help but we all have large bills due in a short amount of time so they won’t be able to contribute much if at all. I already have one very generous contribution from a very dear friend of mine, whom I have promised to draw a picture for in exchange.

I need your help to avoid a disaster. My final semester at the university will be fall of 2023 and I would very much hate to be denied entry into this internship because of an unpaid debt. Financial aid unfortunately did not cover everything because I only needed one class this semester.

Another year gone. Seems like the older I get, the shorter they are. 2022 was a very intense year for me, but brighter days seem to be in my near future.

Near the start of this year, an arctic blast knocked out power for most of my state, and for about 2 weeks we had no electricity and had to boil water before using it for drinking or bathing. Luckily our state government seems to have learned from their error as this most recent Arctic blast did not have the same results.

I spent the first half of 2022 taking Statistics and Classroom Management courses at the university I attend. Summer was pretty much just work, work, work at my full-time job, and then the Fall Semester began.

The fall semester made me nervous, because I was taking my last math course, and it was one I previously had to drop due to my grade in the class. I wasn’t doing much better in it this time around either, but I kept at it because I couldn’t afford to drop it again. I needed a C- in that course per my degree plan requirement….to my surprise, I got a B-, which I gladly accepted.

The other course I took this fall was a breeze and consisted entirely of how to teach math to middle and high school students. I even got the chance to teach an algebra class at a local high school, which was awesome ^_^

Christmas came and went, and was as enjoyable as ever. I also heard that my twin brother wants to join the family on a cruise at the beginning of 2024, but due to past experience, I’m holding my breath on that one. He’s let us down quite a few times ever since he left home because he “got tired of living in my shadow.” I never considered us in competition with one another, but during high school and community college, everything I touched turned to gold it seemed, and as a result, I had plenty of opportunities come my way.

January of 2023 marks the beginning of the end of my college career, as I start the first of my two internships and begin taking my certification exams. From there I’ll become a high school math teacher and hope to save up for a better car and move out of my parents house.

Also, there will be no further submissions to my gallery or scraps. I have to think about my career and what comes with it, so for those who don’t already know, this account will be exclusively for watching, favoriting, and commenting.

I still draw and write stories, and if anyone is interested in seeing what I’ve come up with, and will continue to come up with, send me a note and I will exchange discord or telegram info with you. I can also just send you notes on here if you prefer.

To the few who probably still remember my long-running story Innr-Selvs, I wish to inform you that I intend to end it soon. Frankly it would’ve gone on for years if I had followed my original plans, but due to life I simply won’t be able to do that. I have a new story project in mind that I want to focus all of my attention to and so I am dropping an existing project so I can make that happen.

I promise to give Innr-Selvs an ending as satisfying as I can and I am very grateful to everyone that has appeared in it over the years, you all were the best there is and the best there ever will be, I love you all.

If the story were to continue there’s only one person here on FA that I would feel comfortable handing it over to because I know they will respect my vision for the story, but their workload is heavy as well and plus i don’t know if I would have the permission of everyone else that was in the story to go ahead with that decision.

This is not a spur-of-the-moment thing for me. This was a long time coming and I regret to see the story end myself, but all stories have an ending.

I’ll hopefully release details of my upcoming project sometime before this years end.

As for my other characters, I don’t want people using them at this time, I want to be able to use them in art that I personally draw or request a bit more first, unless you’re someone I trust.

It’s been a while since I posted a journal so I thought I’d start a conversation with one.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on thanksgiving day?

I’m well aware of the day’s dark past but the way I see it that’s not why it’s celebrated anymore. To me it’s always been about food and spending time with those you care about. It’s also a chance for us to reflect on all the things we have to be thankful for, in spite of how challenging and awful life can sometimes be.

My fondest memories are from my childhood when my grandparents were both still alive, we spent thanksgiving with them every year and nowadays I look back and laugh at how my poor old grandmother always cooked only one can of each vegetable thinking it was enough for everyone x3 she was used to cooking for only two people so she always forgot how much people can eat. I loved her very much and I think about her and my grandfather a lot.

Another year gone. My family celebrated with me last night since I won’t get off work until late this evening today. But today is my birthday!

My family treated me to dinner last night and I was given a Captain America Scentsy warmer and a shirt as presents. I’ve been assured my birthday cake will be waiting for me when I get home tonight.

My birthday is in a few days, on August 28th to be exact. Aside from Detective Pikachu on blu-ray I have no idea what I’m getting. Also on Tuesday the 27th the fall semester begins at the university so I look forward to that as well.

I’m thinking of commissioning someone to draw Fidget and a group of other cubs as power rangers (helmets off to the side so faces are visible) and was wondering who wants to be included and which version of the rangers should be done. Comment below if interested or if you have suggestions.

Moving is going slow because the judge hasn’t turned over all the money my mother is owed yet, so Internet is delayed too that means. The spring semester begins on the 22nd of this month so probably I can post more stories when I’m at the campus. The good news is I’m one of the few students who passed the Calculus III class I was in with a C (for math and physics majors a C- is the required to earn credit for that course) so at least I’ll never have to take that again. The professor wasn’t good at his job, he was lost without his notes, his homework was nothing like his in-class examples and every time you’d ask him to do another example he’d say no and move on. He earned nothing but negative survey results I’m sure.

This semester will be Programming with C++, Managerial Accounting, And Principles of Macroeconomics. Hopefully they’ll all go well.
