General | Posted 15 years agoCommission Information!
General | Posted 15 years agoHello!
I do all of my work using Copic Multiliner SP pens without ever touching a pencil, unless I'm moving one of them away to give myself enough room to work. If you are interested in the techniques I use, check out my WatchTail account, conveniently under the same handle as here, Bobman323.
Every piece is done on white, thick paper, usually 110 lb bright white cardstock.
If you checked out my gallery and wanted to commission me, I'm usually pretty flexible with prices, as well as sizes. A lot of you may know I change my prices a lot, and that's on accident because I never actually wrote them down haha.
So, as of May 2010, here is a price guide!
Also note that any piece that is not a commission in my gallery is for sale! Prices are usually marked in the information below, but if not, ask me and I'll be sure to name a price. I have to eat too!!
(prices do not include shipping charges, which have yet to be fully calculated...)
Pen "Sketches" -- $10
8.5" x 11" portraits of anthro and non-anthro characters. Pet portraits fall under this category and are of the same price. All pieces done in black and white, except for the eyes, which are in color!

http://bobman323.deviantart.com/art.....bert-146679266
Color Pen "Sketches" -- $15
The same portraits as above, only overlayed with Copic markers. The ink multiplies with the pen pigments, creating a layered effect so that the pen details are still full and there, but are backed up by vibrant or stoic color.

http://bobman323.deviantart.com/art.....elle-152380587
Color Pen "Sketches" plus Background -- $20
Using the same techniques as above, I can craft out a city, a jungle, a river -- pretty much any place you want the character(s) to be. Adding solid background colors for minimal foregrounds is extra, though, as the ink is expansive and runs out fast.

Landscapes, Cityscapes, and Buildings -- $10
While the price stated is for 8.5" x 11", I can up the scale, as described later. These employ the techniques stated above to create solely the background, but in more detail and personality. I can work with photo references or just a broad idea.
Examples to come when I actually draw a full cityscape, but until then, please view above links for samples of my work.
(well, I have one that I'll upload someday soon, when I get a good picture of it. (ask me on WatchTail and I'll show it to ya!))
Add ons!
All of the prices above are the minimums. There are a lot more things that can be added to suit what you are looking for, frame size, etc.
Increased size +$5 (caps at 14" x 17"), +$2 to other add ons
Additional Character +$3
Colored paper +$1
--uses a piece of scrapbooking cardstock in place of white paper
What you want isn't listed?
Don't worry! Just throw me a private message or an email (or an IM -- I'm usually on MSN) and we can talk things out. There's a chance I may not be able to do something, though, so please let me know!
I ship around the world, but I have to private guarantees on how well the postmen do their job to deliver. While I pack my work in plastic sleeves, backed by cardboard and shipped in flat envelopes, or cardboard tubes in boxes, depending on how large the piece is, no shipment is 100% guaranteed. :/ that's just the truth.
Thank you for your consideration!!

Commissions are open! And other things
General | Posted 15 years agoHello!
Just a friendly little reminder that commissions are, indeed, open! Throw me a note or an instant message and I'll be happy to try and work things out :3
I'm getting two teeth pulled on Monday and, thus, have nothing to study for or anything of the sort, so I'll be happy to work on them asap.
Also, WatchTail sessions will begin when the site is no longer under maintenance.

Good Evening!
General | Posted 15 years agoAnd I'd like to start by thanking deeply my new watchers, as well as everyone who has added my work to their favorites. I really appreciate it, and I hope I don't disappoint in the future!
I'm sorry for the random upload spike, but I've been mildly busy as of late, what with school and girlfriend and everything like that, so I haven't gotten around to it.
As for shouts and the such, I still don't know how to respond or reply to those yet! Haha, so please bear with me as I get used to everything I can and can't do here. I just updated my commission information, if anyone is interested, and I wish there were more categories, as there are a lot of different ways I work. Plus, keep an eye out for special deals I might post up via journals.
Anyway, my current repitoire of full pieces has been updated on here and I will be setting off tomorrow to begin work on some more work, so maybe I can have a WIP posted or even a WatchTail session!
Again, keep your eyes open for that, if you're interested, and let me know!
Hope you all are having a wonderful week, and it will be over soon!
Anyone got any suggestions for my next piece? Just to set the creative wheels in motion, I figure some ideas would be nice.

Hey, I'm new!
General | Posted 15 years agoHey there! Just thought I'd post this as a little introduction. Some of you may know me from deviantART (http://bobman323.deviantart.com/), but I decided to move here and see what the community is like, since all of my art is animal related and I'm a furry myself XD
But anyway, it's nice to meet you all and I hope to make some friends here! Don't be shy, I'm on MSN all the time and I love talking to other artists!
I'll only be posting up some of my newest works from deviantART, so if you want to see where I've come from, check out the link above.
Thanks for checking out my work (if you did)!
