General | Posted 2 years agoI get it. I know people who super draw really bad stuff under the guise of 'it's not a human child so I'm in the clear.' I however don't trust FA to moderate with such a vague rule, especially given their history.
The new rules suck so expect a big purge of everything from my gallery.

General | Posted 8 years agoHi! I’m writing a quick blog post to let you all know I”m not dead and I can work on the mod very very soon. Here’s what’s up!
I quit working on the mod again because I was stressing super hard about my last class at university ever. It was a really make or break moment. Networking was never my strong suit but I managed to pass the class and I did phenomenal on the final! So now that’s out of the way.
Right now what’s keeping me from working on it is frankly, I’m sick of my living space. My room is so cramped and gets messy all the time, so I went out after Christmas and bought some furniture, including a brand new desk! It has over double the surface area of my current desk so maybe I can fit some stuff on it for once. I’m in the process right now of getting as much junk out of my room as possible and putting up new shelves, drawers, and bookcases to ensure I can live comfortably. At the end of it I’ll have the room for a 3rd monitor on that desk as well which will supercharge my productivity. (I actually need it heh. I don’t have enough screen real estate to be doing this kind of stuff.) Also my computer is dying, but I already have the replacement parts so maybe after they are installed the motherboard will stop beeping at all hours of the night telling me it’s about to die.
After all of this is done. I owe you guys an update don’t I? (To be fair so does Chucklefish. it’s been over 2 months of radio silence on their end.)

Mulling Ideas about
General | Posted 9 years agoI want to use the Patreon to fund more sprites. I’m thinking of having a new stretch goal of 350 which should give about 120-150 a month towards commissions. I have an idea of basically a reverse auction.
I want artists to come to me with their ideas, I want the artists to make what they want, then I want them to give me a price. I will then pass these ideas onto my patrons (All levels, or maybe this will be a global thing) to consider which artist to hire.
This would…
1.Not allow money to influence the mod, because it’s the artist’s idea, not mine or anyone else’s.
2.Allow a greater influx of higher quality sprites to be used for the mod (WHICH WE CAN SUPER USE SOON, EXPECT AN ANNOUNCEMENT SOON.)
3.Give people not a direct influence but an influence into what goes into the mod, after all you guys play it.
I want feed back, or if you’re an Artist I would like a bid as well. It’s YOUR IDEA and YOUR PRICE. We want you to have fun.

No update tonight. This week though!
General | Posted 9 years agoI need a bit more time to finish the polish on the tech tool and some more intense testing. A lot can go wrong here, stuff that will permanently corrupt characters and I’m not satisfied with the level of stability is has right now.
Here’s what it does though!
1. The V1 is gone, we now just have the V2, and only one V2, which will just be called the Vore Tool.
2. You equip it and press F over your target. You will them consume them.
3. You can double press ‘Up’ and change the type of the tool. Basic Oral vore (nothing special), a healing vore (heals the target), digestion vore (sets your hunger to max and therefore heals the player), and a UB egg mode (no stomach gurgles and will leave the player in an egg. You will need to wait like 1 or 2 minutes before you can (and still working on this part) struggle to be released)
4. Switching types while a prey is in your belly will also switch what type your prey is experiencing. Turn on and off that digestion to slowly torture your catch! Okay while typing this out, I just had a thought. I should probably turn that UB thing off for this portion. Doesn’t make sense.
5. Not support for all costumes at launch. That’s just a lot of busy work so that will take a while… If you equip a full costume and use the tool. It will transform the appropriate armor options when you swallow someone.
Also included all the Patreon stuff I have been neglecting! (I’m really sorry. Talk to me if you think you deserve a refund. It’s only fair for me not living up to my goals.)

A Serious Question

Hello. It's been a while since I streamed or really gave any progress updates, well here's one. I'm in a bit of a bind. Long story short It's time for me to move on.
I still live with my parents, and they are cutting my internet usage for the reasons I'm not doing much just sitting up in my room, and I'm inclined to agree. In the time between now and then I've gotten a job and started taking better care of myself, these are the steps to getting better in their graces, but it may be a while longer before I can get back to my old self. This may be too much information... Anyway.
If I can turn my time on the internet... p-p-profitable... I can work on the mod, enjoy more time with friends, and just reclaim what I lost
With my current situation in mind. I'm seriously considering the option opening up a Patreon.
The Patreon would focus on me and my things and what I do, a freelance programmer, currently married to the Starbound Vore Mod. Supporting me on patreon would support me in being able to create updates and give me back some of my old life. I have said in the past and I will stay by my word. I will never have an option where you can buy your way into the mod. There will be no fast track to get your OC, your specific feature, your anything in faster. This mod and all content, and all upcoming content will be free for everyone for as long as I program for it. So that leads me to pose the question.
Would you support me on Patreon. Do you think this is a good idea? Do you think I'm just taking advantage of you and I am violating your trust? because I sort of do.
The Starbound Vore mod was not created by me, It was created by someone else on Eka's Portal (I won't mention their name because I dunno, maybe they don't want it. Maybe they don't like the FA because I don't see them here), most of the sprites are not mine, most of them were created by my very dear friend. Fans submit their own sprites, writing and ideas and we do our best to implement them. For these reasons I emphasize you would be patronizing me, not the mod. Patronize me working on the mod. I created the features. Animated SPOs, Vore Tenants, Macro Rooms, the Foodhall, RP tools, were all my doing, the logic and programming behind them at least. As well as parsing a lot of the fan created content. I don't want to tell everyone that their efforts have been all for naught... They've done wonderful work! But to continue my work, at least at a rate comparable to before. If I move onto another project I would expect some of you to cease your donations.
So of course that leaves me with the rewards people desire.
I'm thinking I'll put a big scrolling billboard in front of the foodhall with everyone's name who donates a certain amount. Keep in mind I can't keep content from other users of the mod either. I obviously need some more feedback. I also draw a bit if you want to commission me instead. I'm getting better but you won't see the high quality you see elsewhere.
Please discuss this down in the comments. Please let me know your thoughts, your feelings, any input you can give me. I'm in tight spot right now and need some help, not the money, but guidance.

Starbound Vore Mod: Official Server
General | Posted 9 years agoI have rented a dedicated Starbound Server that hosts, among other things, the Starbound Vore Mod. If you are interested in playing with other voraphiles this would be a wonderful place to.
If you want to join, you need to join the discord here: https://discord.gg/0yLp9mM55hkFPKpY
Discord is a relatively new, free, Skype alternative. I find a discord will be the easiest way for people to communicate with eachother, manage permissions, and keep you up to date with server updates
When you join I need to OK you, so I can keep track of everyone who has. When you are OKd you'll see a new channel off to the left, there you can find the server information.
