So I am definitely planning on going to MFF this year. I am not sure if I will have a suit yet, but either way I am for sure going. Wanted to see if people would be interested in possibly sharing a room. This will probably be my first con (unless I can make it to IFC), so I'll need someone to show me the ropes. I know it's a ways out, but you all seem to plan this stuff early...lol.

Hey all you fursuit makers out there, just had a few questions. How long did it take to make your first fursuit, and how did it turn out? Just curuis to hear your stories.

Why do you fursuit?? What is is about dressing up in a furry costume that makes you do it??

So it looks like I will be going to MFF 2011 this year. It will be my first con, and I am really excited about it. I can't wait to go see all the amazing suits in the fandom. I probably won't have fursuit by then (unless I win the lottery...lol), but would love to get the chance to suit around on Friday. Is there anyone out there willing to let me borrow one of their suits. I know this is a weird thing to ask, but I would hate to go and not have a suit to wear. I am a responsible adult and would take great care of your suit. I know they are expensive and I would make sure nothing happened to it. If any super nice furries are willing to make that happen, please let me know.

What was your first con like? I am hoping to make it to MFF this year. I live near Chicago so it's super close for me. I am new to Fursuiting, and don't really know what to expect. Any tips or advice on how to handle your first con??

How did you know that you were a furry? Just curious how everyone got into it in the first place.

I am new to the fandom, and one thing I hear a lot of conversation about is talking in suit. Does it really ruin the magic if you talk in suit? I think it adds a cool element to the suit. I guess it makes it easier to tell if it's a man or women underneath the suit, but that's about it.

What are you thoughts about talking in suit?
