New art setup! (IMPORTANT UPDATE)
Posted 2 years agoHowdy folks, many of you may be wondering where I've been, and why its been 9 months since I last posted any art. Here's an update on whats going on with the hog...
For the past few years I was using a pretty convoluted setup for making art because I wasn't invested in it and didn't want to shell out the money to buy any proper equipment, plus I preferred drawing traditionally due to the tactical feeling of a pencil in my hand and a piece of paper with proper friction and an eraser. When I first decided to try out digital art, I was using an old Ipad that was super slow, shitty touch-sensitive pens with no friction, and I really struggled to make anything I liked in a timely manner. I did get better at that process with time though as is evident by the quality difference between my scraps and my gallery. Recently though I decided it was time for an upgrade for not only my Ipad, but also computer. I bought a REAL drawing tablet (advertised as providing a similar feeling to traditional drawing) and a new computer that should make it a bit easier to work with larger file sizes as compared to the Ipad. I am going to be using Clip Studio Paint going forward and I don't have any experience with it so it may take some time to get used to, but I'm sure it will make it much easier for me to work on my art and be able to finish up & post the backlog of traditional sketches that I've been sitting on.

And for those of you that have been asking... I am going to briefly talk about COMMISSIONS. My new equipment didn't cost an arm and a leg, but I would still like to recoup my losses if possible, so I am going to consider opening commissions possibly soon (no promises). I still don't know how using my new setup will go and I would like to produce a few personal pieces as practice before I commit to opening commissions. (I don't want to end up sitting on someone's money while I spend months trying to work on their commission). If you would SERIOUSLY like to commission me in the coming weeks, I am going to open a LIMITED number of slots. IF I decide to go through with this decision I will provide more details on pricing as well as what I will and will not draw. Even though I am not open for commission at this moment, PLEASE reach out to me on here (notes or comments) or through discord if you would be interested in reserving a slot so that I can get a good idea of the demand.

Posted 3 years agoWow, three HUNDRED watchers! I'm glad my art appeals to so many people on this site. I appreciate all of you for stopping by and viewing and favoriting my stuff. Just a quick update on whats to come: Hyperscat day piece will drop on August 1st, I've got some stuff of my bull character in the works (it'll be a big step up in 'anatomy' I'd say, I am grasping muscle structure a bit better now), Then theres the YCH from waaaayyy back that I still really wanna complete, I have restarted it like 3 times already because I cant seem to make anything that I feel is high enough quality to really finish, I actually plan on reaching out to those four winners and discuss with them a possible rework of the YCH and maybe do something a bit different than the original sketch that I had advertised it as, but we'll see how that turns out! Other than that, I have been chatting with another artist about a possible art trade (I am excited for it but also hesitant to really commit due to the rest of the stuff I have in the works.) Other than that, I have been doing much better since my last update post, I feel like I'm starting to enjoy my art a bit more and have the motivation to work on it.

Obviously I am always open to take suggestions for art ideas (I do not take direct requests, but I may take suggestions into mind when drawing up something new) Feel free to comment what you'd like to see more of here kink-wise or character-wise, really anything!

Content shuffling
Posted 3 years agoI moved some stuff around a bit on my profile, older art that I do not particularly deem up to my own personal standard has been moved to my scraps. You will still be able to find the content and I wont be deleting it but I wanted to clean up my profile a bit and make sure the stuff i'm most proud of is at the forefront of my gallery.
Where I've been (IMPORTANT UPDATE!)
Posted 3 years agoBeen a while since i've posted on here, journals or actual art. I've been swamped with IRL things for months, I've also been dealing with a few mental health issues (some form of depression/mood swings, I'm working on it and its getting better) and so I've had to shift my focus and time away from making art & being involved with the small community i've created. On top of my hectic schedule and current situation; i've lost motivation and creativity for creating artwork. This has come in the form of exhaustion, lack of unique ideas, issues with the hardware/software I use, etc. I have done a few traditional drawings here and there when I have time, they will eventually be posted here and also in my small discord. For those of you who keep up with e621, I have completely abandoned that site so you wont be able to find anything new posted there in the future.
So where does that leave us? Well for one: the YCH raffle must be addressed. I have reached out to those of you who won the raffle, and I still want to keep my promise of eventually completing that for you all. I know time continues to spark doubt on whether or not that has been worked on or canceled or whatnot so I thought it'd be appropriate to address now. That YCH WILL be completed. I cannot promise a specific date or timeframe for when, but it WILL be completed EVENTUALLY. Im grateful for those of you who won being patient and continuing to support my artwork regardless of the wait on the product. I will say this however: it was a FREE reward for those who follow me here on F/a, so while I do value and uphold my promise to complete the artwork, I do not feel its right to force myself into working on it when I'm tired or feeling drained of creativity/motivation.
Now that that's out of the way lets discuss moving forward. Overall, I enjoy art. I enjoy seeing new art especially when its based on niche kinks or has a really interesting concept or exhibition of high skill. I enjoy making art that hits on niche and underappreciated kinks. I also enjoy making art that combines niche fetishes and unique ideas. I know that doing this will likely result in a lot of variation in the kinks and types of art i will make and lead to different sections within the community that follows my artwork that appreciate only a small portion of the art i produce. That makes it sorta difficult when coming up with ideas. I certainly value making art for myself regardless of others' opinions, but i also value making art that others can enjoy. The overlap and lack thereof of fetishes creates a strange situation where i find myself censoring ideas or changing them up so that I don't scare away audiences that may enjoy some of the kinks exhibited in the artwork, but are disgusted by the others. I guess that really leaves me two options: create artwork for my personal enjoyment and completely disregard the fact that some may not enjoy the variety of fetishes in my artwork, OR, create artwork that does not feature any super bizarre or unusual fetishes so that i keep the majority of people who watch me happy.
Commissions/requests/paid work/ect.
As of now, I will NOT be open for commissions. That has not changed and unfortunately i do not see it changing any time in the future. the reason for this?; my hectic schedule and lack of time or creativity to work on art. I do not think its fair to charge money for people to request art that will take an undetermined amount of time to complete. I also fear that i will put a burden on myself to work on my HOBBY as if it were a real job. I have a real job already that i'm happy with and dont need the stress of another on top of it. Requests will stay as is: I dont do free art. I will NOT draw something that is requested by someone 'just because'. I WILL accept ideas, community input, and suggestions when it comes to the kinks and idea featured in my art. Paid work: will remain the same. If i happen to create artwork for a friend as a gift, I do not expect any reciprocation or payment of any kind. If I make something for you and you'd like to show your appreciation we can discuss it between the two of us. I typically will refuse any "tip money" for gifts. If you have any questions about any of these feel free to send me notes or comments on this journal.
TL;DR: Feeling unmotivated and exhausted and unable to work on art at the current time. I want to eventually get back into making art but i am unsure when that will happen. The YCH raffle is still in the works, It has not been canceled and i will uphold my promise to complete it eventually. Commissions remained closed.

I would just like to say thank you all for 100 watchers here on FA. I was hesitant about posting my art to new places at first but I am glad that I can provide some nasty art for at least one hundred people, and eventually more! Expect more art coming in the future and more opportunities to get free art from me through raffles! I am considering opening commissions eventually but I'm not sure that I will be doing that in the immediate future since I still have a regular job and responsibilities and gross fetish-based NSFW furry art is not my main priority. That being said though, art will keep coming for sure! and trades may be more common. So far a few trades are in the works, you may see them posted sometime soon.
