Working on a Zootopia - Judy comic. (NSFW)
Posted 3 months agoAs the title says I have slowly but surely been working on a zootopia related comic for adults which has been quite alot of work.
I am now 10 pages in on it and it's been a wild ride mentally.
I wish I could show you more of it, but from the little sneakpeaks I do on my Bluesky account I can't really do more, it would ruin the
surprise if you saw screenshots of every panel. But trust me it's going to be a fun read.
One thing I can say is that the idea to make it into a comic came about from a single discussion about Judy being too short to scream into a microphone. :D
Aftter I made that artpiece I thought to myself that yup... This needs to be a full blown comic.

Being An Artist is HARD!
Posted a year agoI've come to realize that being an artist is quite literally one of the hardest jobs to maintain. Even on a semi-hobbyist level.
First you have to gain a following, which is almost an impossible task in today's age unless you're like super lucky on Twitter or Instagram.
Then the you get an additional difficulty bump if you're an ADULT artist. Because not only will websites filter your ass out of the platforms,
you're also not allowed to post most of the art you do.
This just me talking in hyperbole, so don't take it too seriously, but I honestly feel like there was a golden age for artists where
people got noticed much easier even if they were just starting out. Now, it's almost an impossible task to even begin.

It took a while for me to upload all of my older art to this profile.

Curious about commission prices.

What do you consider a fair price for a commission or an YCH?
From my perspective I always feel bad about setting a price as high as 100USD.
But I also feel bad for making an art piece for less than 100USD.
I know people are less inclined to dish out 100USD for an art piece out of the blue.
