I'm so excited to marry the man who was created just for me.

We've been together five years now and engaged for one of them.
I think we're set. No rushing into things here! I couldn't be more sure, and more relaxed about the whole thing.
Almost everything is paid for, just have a couple things to finish with the caterer. Thanks to my friends and family this is going to be a dream wedding. Plus I get to marry the man of my dreams. My best friend in the whole world. I can't wait!

So we're packing for our move this month to our new apartment!

I'm actually really excited and can't wait to get there. It's just what we wanted and more! I really am so happy and relieved that we found this place. So if I'm not updating or responding to comments it's because I'm trying to get everything in order. I've never moved in my adult life before so I'm a little nervous. But I can't wait to move in and finally be alone with my wuffie!!

Seriously, you guys are all awesome. Dago helped me out by taking me to the DMV today (he needed to go anyway) so I could get things sorted out with my car. So! Here we go.
Get to the DMV around 10:30.
Wait in line.
DMV's computer systems go down right after we get our number. Fantastic.
Hanging out, nothing to do.
Dago gets his reg taken care of lickity split. I'm stuck for a while.
I tell him to take off and I'll call him.
He goes to use a friends' hottub (LUCKY!)
I'm finally done with my stuff around 3pm. UGH!

Guess I would have needed insurance and registration and the smog test anyway... soo... really, I'm only out of pocket: $512. Not bad for avoiding the cops for 3yrs, not paying for any insurance, or registration. I'll never do it again though!!

One month into the new year and things have happened that have shaken my world. And robbed me of ANY savings.
During FC. Found out, we lost the house. Damn. Well, now we have to move into an apartment. I'm really trying to look on the bright side. At least it will be just me and Dago, and we can actually afford a decent place. But this takes away from wedding savings. Bummer.
While out looking for an apartment, a cop decided to randomly run my plates and pulled me over for not having registration. In order to get around this and not be noticed (because I didn't have any money for insurance) I had a fake sticker on it... which is apparently a misdemeanor. So my car got towed ($$$) I have to get insurance ($$$) and pay all kinds of fines ($$$) and go to court ( )

Dago took me out for a chocolate shake and banana split. I feel a bit better now. We're also going to go to the DMV tomorrow and see if I can get this all sorted out.


I'm bitter.

This is mostly for my own advantage for what I need to complete tomorrow and the next day.

Dago and I visited San Francisco before FC in January,
We got engaged in Vegas!
I had to celebrate my first Christmas without my Dad (couldn't make it)
Met someone I hoped would be a good friend, but was kinda awkward...
Fursuited for the first time in a truly unfurry public place: A breast cancer walk! WAY fun

2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Don't remember making any... I think I was drunk as crap last year!!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No... No one very close anyway.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
I lost my Grandmother, but we knew it was coming.

Just USA! But we took a couple of little trips.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
To get over this home-ownership dilemma! It's been a battle... like so many homeowners this year...

July 3rd-4th. Our engagement!
Dec. 25th. My last Christmas with my current last name! Kinda hit me hard!! Lol.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Figuring out a solution to our home problems! I felt very grown up for dealing with it the way I did, and am happy with the outcome thus far!
Getting engaged! But that was really up to my sweetheart!

9. What was your biggest failure?
Gaining so much weight. I blame it on all kinds of things like stress and fepression, but it's all my fault... I'm trying to be better.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had one serious scare in which I couldn't move my back. I was terrified for a few days but Dago helped me through it. Some kind of pinched nerve. It was excruciating.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I didn't buy a whole lot for myself actully! I had a lot of great things gifted to me though! Dago of course got me the most important piece of jewelry of my life, he got me a new computer which I needed really bad! And my uncles got us a PS3 for Christmas! Very cool.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I really think  alphamyk deserves some recognition for setting up the breast cancer walk and our camping trip and for cooking everything for the meet-ups. He's done a lot to improve my social skills within the furry community.
I also applaud Dago for finally realizing what amazing artwork he has and will be entering the artshow at FC this year! I'm so excited for him!!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The way the entire community reacted to the Tyra thing. Out of control, srsly.

House payments. Utilities.

All I'm going to say is please don't take your children to see this. They will probably not enjoy it. Neither did I. I feel like my memory of the book as been skewed and I don't like it. Not one bit.


The costumes were pretty nice... especially the little boys' and he's quite a good actor. Especially since half the time he probably had no fucking idea what he was talking about. Kudos to him.

Since I met Dago 4 years ago.

Dago introduced me to the fandom, but I had drawn anthros for a while before meeting him.

Dago showed me the artwork and I really enjoyed drawing it. Then we went to our first con together (FC 06) and it totally blew our minds. I loved the fursuits and have started making our own.

*What's Furry to you?
The art, the fursuiters, the cons. Getting to wear the suits to me is so much fun.

My besties know I'm a furry and they don't care at all. I just said we go to cons where people suit and have fun and perform and sell arrtwork. They said, "Oh, like Comic-Con, but Disney-fied?" And I just laughed and said sort-of...

The conventions and getting to meet new people there. I am SO shy when it comes to actually meeting someone new though. But we've met lots of people like, our first year getting to meet  neoscribbles , zeff,  keto , and lots of others.
