Just to let everyone known so they don't think it's a joke, I plan on opening for commissions tomorrow. I haven't done that in a long time because my plate has been quite full. But I really want to give more of the public a chance to get something.

It's pretty clear to me today that I have a bad habit of badly underestimating the amount of time and effort it takes to complete some pieces of art. I'll have to be more cognizant of that more in the future.

For the most part, I'm just posting the same stuff as I post here, but I'll decide if I want to run it a little differently or not as time goes on. For now, tomorrow I'll be posting a few new sketches exclusively to that account as a sort of gesture to commemorate the opening.

I'll notify you if I end up opening any accounts elsewhere in the future.

Since times have gotten rather tough economically, I'm considering bringing back sketch commissions when I open up soon as a bit of a cheaper option for those that want something, but are having trouble. I'll think about pricing for this.

Happy New year, everyone! It feels good to have more or less a reset each year (Not really, but let's say a fresh attitude) and the chance to move on to better things. I'm going to try changing some major habits to become more productive. Hopefully you yourself will have some kind of improvement this year. Best to get started as soon as possible.

Some folks may have noticed I haven't done commissions in a while. That's because I've been working on a project lately that's getting me some money, but considering it's December, I need to get a bit of a boost to my earnings.

So I'm opening up for commissions this month. I don't know when I'll open for commissions again, so if you have a burning desire to get something, now is your chance.
I want to make a special point to say that if you need something BY CHRISTMAS, you will have to make that clear upfront as I can only take so many with a deadline like that.

I think Thanksgiving is one of the most important holidays we have in the States because it gives us an excuse to stop for a moment and think about the good things in our lives, as well as an opportunity to express that.

So I just want to say that I'm thankful for everyone who has appreciated my art and given me an audience which I can express myself to. It's a bit of a failing of mine to not post on a regular basis, but really am glad that everyone is here to help me not feel like I'm completely wasting my abilities. I also want to thank anyone who has bought something from me so that I can actually pay bills and buy things I need.

I can't go without thanking God either for the abilities he's given me and good health most of the time which allows me to make art in the first place.

I hope I can continue to bring good things to you for some time to come and thanks again for both your help and viewership.

There's not really a cause for alarm. I'm just a bit behind on my work and posting new art that I have done. I'm pointing this out to let everyone know that I want to get it cleared up before I start taking on any new work, but I should be doing so soon this month, in case anyone would be interested in that.
Just keep an eye out for an announcement post amongst all the drawings I'll be putting up. It will be obvious when I'm ready.

Hello all,

It took me quite a while to finish all the commissions I had from last time, so I haven't been able to open up until now.
Changes are slight price changes and an added cheaper flat color option (which may not be determinant depending on how popular it is) since shading is the most intense part of the drawing.
Included in this post are both the new showy chart and a simplified version which is easier to read.

Just to let people know, I'm going to be opening up commissions soon. I don't know when exactly, but announcing this week for sure, probably within the next couple days. I had originally planned to open up in January, but I had so many orders that I had to devote a lot of time to catching up. Right now I'm cleaning up old messages and lining up old work for posting in order to get a fresh, organized start.

I'm going to be raising my prices a little bit because it's become apparent from the last round of work I did that I've been undercharging compared to the the time and effort my work takes in many cases. I'm always reluctant to make my art more expensive, because I like people to feel like they're getting a good deal for their money. But I realize that I have to make it workable for myself as well, so I can continue to do them. My intention is, as always, to give people high quality work at a reasonable price.

In any case, if you're interested, keep an eye out and maybe we can get some great art done.

(Or Hanukkah if that's your thing)

It's no exaggeration to say that I've had a busy season. Thankfully the busiest I've had in a long time. Because of everyone's support, I've been able to make decent money through this year. I'm really grateful for all the business you folks have brought me. I'm a bit too aloof for my own good, so I count myself lucky to have as many orders as I do. I hope that next year will be an improvement for us all (I know I plan to try). It's been a great two-day break and I'm back to work tomorrow, but I just wanted to give everyone my end of year tidings.

I plan to open up commissions again tomorrow, but of course I will not be checking messages today. I'll be making an announcement, so stay tuned if you're interested.

To all who follow my work: out of curiosity, what is your favorite fat trope/cliche?

To be honest, probably not too worthy of a mention. But as I've been sorting things on my computer I'm finding some pieces that I put off sharing.
As it's a bit hard to cross reference to make sure I haven't already put something up, I might end up posting a duplicate by mistake. So pardon any reposts.

I realize I've been neglecting my art accounts too much, being a bit of a hermit. While I'm always drawing (both for myself and working on commissions), I have gotten in a bad habit of keeping distribution of my art in a tight circle of few people. Gonna try to work on that since there's not really a point in making art if you're not going to share it in some way.

Really nothing to comment on. Just my way of saying expect a bunch of art to pop up in the near future.

If you like a pic you see on my page, for goodness sake, just save it. Everything is subject to change and something you may really like could easily be gone tomorrow.

No, I'm not keeping a backup of something if I choose to delete it.
