General | Posted 17 years agoExams start next week, I got about two weeks of exam so won't be online, starting today, for the next three weeks. Will try to draw stuff though I believe I might not upload anything productive. I got a presentation to do this friday and today an event among the other social studies groups. And got to write a review about a presentation I attended from GMC, which was quite fun. And got to participate in an event about women. Which is an event that supports women's work through history and got two meetings on thursday3

General | Posted 17 years agoNo new faces, no old faces. Just the one bastard who refuses to change like most people are trying hard to do and this journal is related to this. Anyway I've been telling over and over for years how I don't change and how people are growing up and I'm not.
I refuse to change, however, getting better at what I do and what I like to do is not changing, is progressing, evoloving. And that's more to say here. I have or had good friends, for a couple of years online who suddenly just go away cause they are not the same, etc and etc. And friendship is gone just like that, and I'm okay with it. Have a nice life you people and everyone else.
It's not like any friendship to means nothing, it's just that I'm not getting stuck on everytime someone breaks up, or something related to that. Life continues and I will continue along with it. However some others just let it die simple as that. And it reminds me that I care, but not enough to get hurt or to get upset about it.
Anyway, to those who change and leave, for those who just don't care like before. Sayonara and have a great time, cause I am having a normal life, still. Can't wait until my life gets more fun.
Anyway, currently back at the uni thing. I got involved with this Anime Club which now are known as Yatta! and while doing a doodle with Ramzkun I created a girl which is know officially the pet of the club, and her name is Akai, which most here should know it means Red and she is a redhead.
I'm taking my mom's lap and my tablet to Uni, finally I get some time for drawing sadly I couldn't get oC working on it until today. Which now is fun to use and here at the library is peaceful enough to draw. And for the pervs of this community sorry, I can't draw porn here. I don't really mind, cause porn is something to have fun for me, and now I get to do something more fun, drawing humans. That is correct. The humaniod world has corrupted me.
My club has taken my suggestion seriously and we are going to make a magazine which has a lot anime, manga, japanese culture, video games and even a comic which I was assigned to be General Assistant of Arts and Design. Which for me is something fun these days to do and inside the club I'm the one to organize a lot of events. Upcoming Karaoke Cafe, Tournaments of different games and consoles. Some propaganda, cosplay here and there.
Another thing, I just got out of a GMC conference which was also fun. Technology, animation and other things are surging. And the convention was also fun to do. Though the place was small though I would like to assist to a AniMEX Con. Which is up north from I am currently and a place I like to hang out during other conventions while I was a kid. Conventions are always fun, though I hardly could take much photos, since I was in charge of a small group of students who are now my friends. Funny part is that they are 15-17 years old the most. xD
And yes I know I still owe a lot of work in here and some of you people might be doing some voodoo stuff on me by now. Or put me in a dark, obscure blacklist or worse, but be patient! I'm almost out of this busy world and get som time to actual work on something.

Eiji is my new God.
General | Posted 17 years agoIt’s been about two years since I haven’t play any Zelda and these past days I got re-obsessed with Twilight Princess for GameCube. As most people know Shigeru stepped down with the developing of the Zelda saga and left Eiji in this work, and I have to say this was pure genius to do. The great differences between Eiji and Shigeru are immense and don’t get me wrong, Shigeru is also a genius who created and developed the Zelda legends.
This is slightly a review and comparing the other Zelda 3D games with Twilight Princess. It is nice to see some movement on their mouth as their speak and adding some words thought it is in other language which I felt great about it, they are establishing the language as other that it doesn’t exist. The graphics are indeed better than OoT and WW, though they did combined some aspects from them, but it might not be as good as PS3 or Xbox 360, however I always thought is the key for making less lag and faster at loading. Waiting for a scenario to load kills my mood all the time.
Fighting skills.- At the beginning it was nice to see Link being able to perform some new skills, though not amazing and it was okay, wasn’t excepting something fancy like out of Prince of Persia either, but when the Golden Wolf appeared and showed me a new skill and said there were seven in total I did get a nice impression and right now I’ve been using them all and specially during the showdown Darknut in Temple of Time. Can’t say it was easy to defeat, but it wasn’t frustrating, it was something I did enjoyed. Never really thought Link would gain skills like this and it is lovely to see the attack in which Link can use by having filled the hearts, reminds me of the first Zelda ever released.
Interaction.- Yes, it is also something that Link has with the mini-quests interacting with people, but we hardly ever see people evolving, just being sad to happy after the quest is done, but during Twilight Princess I saw how Midna, specially her, evolves during the game and thanks it’s so long one can enjoy them. Midna at first was careless of what Link go through, but she slowly gains his heart and Link gains hers and not to mention how helpful she is during the game unlike Navi, Tatl and others who only did provided with information, though Tatl did come close, but not as Midna has with Link.
Once again the old yet improved weapons. I was realizing something fun, this is the first game in which stays in Zelda which has technology not related to Magic, expect Majora’s Mask, but doesn’t apply due Termina being a universe. Thought has different technology though I just realized that before TP hasn’t been any flood and talks about a hero, my best guess right here is that the WW’s legend spoken wasn’t mentioning the hero of time at first, since the land vanished after the flood and Hyrule was lost, and yet in Twilight Princess Hyrule exists still which means OoT and MM did both happened.
One thing that disappoints me so far is the level of difficulty with the bosses, Darknut was supreme. That battle was nice, however beating the other creatures; the bosses are sometimes way to easy three battles after stopping them or six. It would be nice if they add a selection of level of difficulty. Though when I collected all the Fused Shadows I thought I was done with the thought of wasn’t this supposed to last longer and bang! Have to start a new quest for collecting some new items.
At the end the game got me addicted, to see Link perform attacks and showoffs is just amazing, and how the main story is stronger and more clear than any previous Legend. The interaction, again, with Midna made the game more fun in my own opinion. Her personality at first was more of a mischievous however when everything started to get seriously she changed, though I like how she seems to like Link more than usual, the part where Midna caress Link’s face.
The field is immense; nice for exploring and it reminded me of Wind Waker, though WW Ocean was vast it didn’t had enough enemies and variety of them, though Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask did have a variety, but it was smaller and finally TP has more of both making this game more entertaining. The improvement of the horse riding was to drool, being able to use the sword while riding feels so much different and better than any other game. An interesting note is that Link is unable to use magic, and instead uses more medieval technology and a bit of a mixed with the current ones such the bomb arrows.
Having lost Epona made traveling a bit difficult thanks for having a Wolf Link for making things easier and having Midna for the teleporting to the spots where we could make such short time, especially when we are in a hurry.
And what may I say about the music, another supreme work. Using old songs and redoing them was great, nostalgic, and the new songs are great. They do well their work on the game.

Life Update

Yesterday I had discrete math, needless to say I had conflicts with the test, as well everyone else in class. Seems our teacher place in some questios of something we didn't seen in class, however I missed the two last classes previous the exam so I'm not sure, however in the book there was nothing about it in the seccions she said the exam would be based from.
I have this and another week and I will be off and hopefully I will be able to draw that group pic. The Dragon Ball Cosplay pic, and among some other works which are on hold. I apologize once again for taking so long. University really eats your time.
Anime Club
Yesterday's meeting was good, or great, well, the anime club has been slacking off lately so I've talked to the president of the club and the other people and started promoting ideas and we got two ideas. A magazine and a comic.
We got everything down within the magazine and we have no idea what to do for the comic, but we are getting there. We are hoping by next meeting the artist of the club could talk down with the things we can work with. On my side I would like doing something rather sci-fi or fantasy, if possible a hybrid of both.
Physics Final Project
Seems like I got myself in trouble. Tomorrow I gotta hand a summary of my project along with my partner about our rotorcraft, which we changed the design from a simple UFO design back to the original design: Prototype. Just a messy blue print however I'm planning of just work on a skeleton instead of the fancy looks.
The rotorcraft will have five rotors, could be tricky to set up, but innovation is our priority in this project. Other students are doing some quite interesting designs such one is a electromagnetic shotgun. Meanwhile others are creating a power balance system for vehicles which also can detect the surface for better work.
Zelda fan burning up
Years ago my Zelda collection was stolen from me, along with some handhelds and recently I've decided to start buying once again the Zelda collection which is kind of becoming a problem with my physics final project since this university won't provide anything for this research. After all we are just mere students of first semester.
Lucky I've kept my Zelda Collector's Edition which I won from nintendo.com. The fun part of that is that Nintendo.com made a mistake and I won, however they did found out after they sent the precious prize. And I also have Wind Waker.
I bought from eBay some Hylian Crest from Phantom Hourglass and the OoT pin which features the hyrulean shield and the master sword among some arrows. I also bouth Twilight Princess and Master Quest. I've found a good contact which can provide me with the rare collections, however that Twilight Princess Coin would be hard to get.
I'm aiming at Ocarina of Time Golden Edition which my provider has. I also got my Majora's Mask which was preordered as well and has the holo. Only need the rest which he could get for me. I think I should start promoting my, as in drawing more work, and doing commissions. x_x

Conflicts

Yet another day within the engineering life. Just happens to be quite fun learning all sort of different things, which all are related to science and programming. Some of the attitude test I took were funny and quite accurate, specially for being the type of person that I ask "what if" and also for being known for breaking rules. My exam tells me I'm a person of science. Happy to hear this.
Rotorcraft conflict
Amid today review of the rotorcraft among my partner and other group of friends discovered other faults which are the equipment which seems the university cannot supply. This rotorcraft which remains without a name has the shape of the classic OVNI's. This project will include a wireless small camera integrated on the base of the object which will allow to gain a different perspective from the university.
The main idea is using a radio card, cards to control the speed, three rotors: one main rotor which will be most powered than the other two. A second rotor to stop the torque generated from main rotor and the third rotor will make the craft move forward and backward. A light skeleton and aluminum as the shell. Have to get some prototype by next thursday.
Discrete Math study time
Today had an appointment with my partner K-ro at 14:00, but she was unable and canceled it at the last minute, it was sad to hear this since at 13:00 a couple of my friends had an appointment at BMW which they would take a closer look at the engine and other devices of a M3. Their project is more complex than mine and to tell the truth they might encounter problems due they are thinking of creating a energy control system which would work depending of the surface. Each surface is different and the system will attempt to save energy or more likely to organize it by detecting it. I could had gone with them and learn a lot more of technology.
SSBM Tournament
Tomorrow friday, our university is holding a tournament at 16:00 which I've signed up for and wish to claim to The Great Terrible King of Smash Brothers.

Busy
General | Posted 18 years agoTaking a few minutes to write down this, anyway I got some exams the next two days and I've bought a tablet recently which is bigger. A 4x5 inches tablet is not fun for someone like myself that has giant hands. I'm expecting to get a new laptop so I can draw from uni when I get some free time.
I'm fustrated cause I haven't been able to draw, color anything except some doodles and also except for art classes which I can't draw what I want except what the teacher wants. And I'm okay with it since he is actually teaching to use the left hand. I'll be lefty in no time. =P
For some people who don't know, I got a condition with my right wrist which won't let me draw or write after sometime. It gets hurt in about 10-15 times and it blocks me from drawing so this teacher is giving me a solution and I'm amazed of what he is teaching. I got myself to learn something interesting today and the fact I can draw humans as in real like without being a mess with my left hand now.
The tips and the laws he is teaching are just amazing. I wasn't aware of the .618 law, or the eyes, nose, ears, mouth laws. Only four classes now, each of three hours, and I've learned a whole lot more than I've ever had in the last 15 years about drawing.
My next class will take us to the dance class, to see other students dance and let us draw them. Probably with drama and he promised us he'd get us a model, either a guy or a girl to pose naked for us. These classes are like worthy, and I'm not even paying for them. xD
Another interesting story is something about technology and fashion. The uni is bringing a lot of people from different companies, world-known to attend to this uni as students will make a show-down of products for the companies in which one of them was Nintendo. Others are like Mont Blanc. I can't remember what were all of them, but sure looks like an international event. And must also say this event is actually being run by a Student Group rather than the Uni and I'm just amazed how they did managed to get a lot of world-known companies getting involved in this event.
Okay, I wrote a lot, anyways, I still own a lot of drawings and I guess I will get them soon or if not sometime at July when this semester is over. Though I'm having second thoughts about my career again. Should had gone with Mecatronics or Animation and Digital Art.

Engineering mecha boobs
General | Posted 18 years agoI got myself into the best university where I'm living, Tecnológico de Monterrey. And the career Ive chosen is Ingeniero de Tecnológias Electricas, ITE for short and is somewhat like Electrical Engineering, EE for short, but for my surprise there is a Master Degree I can take so I can turn my career into Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
, EECS for short. Happy about it due includes 3D, Virtual Reality and other things.
Anyway, it is the best university for one main thing: mathematics. Everything I'm taking is related to math, even dramatics, being an important thing since an engineer must have a wide understanding within mathematics. Heavy reading and long working is what makes greats leaders, however other reason this is the best from my country is by simple being able to get out with my own company with all international standards.

Anyway, it is the best university for one main thing: mathematics. Everything I'm taking is related to math, even dramatics, being an important thing since an engineer must have a wide understanding within mathematics. Heavy reading and long working is what makes greats leaders, however other reason this is the best from my country is by simple being able to get out with my own company with all international standards.

RIP PC: All data lost
General | Posted 18 years agoDue some family dispute my computer was caught or actually resulted to be the only victim being left with the skeleton destroyed, both inner fans were destroyed which would be dangerous to plug the PC and try to use it, the DVD-ROM's were damaged and I ain't gonna plug the PC with the hard-drive due if anything happens I'm not willing to loose my data.
Which means I'm not able to get online which is kind of pissing me off right now. Trying to not think much and trying to keep my mind on other things such: Supernatural season 1 & 2, listening to some good 80's rock, taking care of the garden everyday, playing and taking care of our newest family member, a little rottweiler which received the name of Camila which we previously had another rottwieiler with the same name.
Christmas is less fun and more work these days now, trying to think what to do with Uni coming up, gotta check some things tomorrow so I'll be off doing some work for a while so I can clear my mind. I again apologize for the delaying my works which I'm feeling somewhat uneasy about this situation, I should had it done something about them.

General | Posted 18 years agoAt the moment an aunt of mine got some issues with the infamous disease known as cancer, so at the moment I'm extremely busy, I would come online from time to time, mainly during the night or day, but most of the time I would spend it going to a big city in and assisting to where my aunt is, which is at the main army hospital at Mexico City.
Status isn't that bad, she got a chemo and at the moment she isn't eating though there are other ways to feed her and they will proceed tomorrow with the procedure. Trying to switch to alternative medicine such homotoxicology and other procedures such some prehistoric mushrooms from japan that are capable to heal and eliminate cancer. Which was my mother was cured with about seven years ago.
Must say there is something fucked up, since my aunt has been checking up for the last eight months and about a week ago she was diagnostic with cancer, which in terminal phase. Cancer at these days are detectable eight months at least before it appears.
I apologize for everyone who I own a picture, and own requests and some time, I'm sorry but I have to do anything along with my family to help my aunt.

I'm doing a massive group pic involving anyone charas that are willing to join with one condition, they will be cosplaying (not acting like the actual chars) as the Z Warriors, in other words Dragon Ball, well, this also includes the bad guys and anyone thrown in randomly.
I would suggest you guys to hurry and sign up before I start doing this pic. By the way I STILL NEED SOMEONE TO COSPLAY AS FAT BUU
BEHOLD! the rules:
1. I only accept only one char per person and this means you may only pick one char.
2. The char must have a ref sheet
3. I prefer to have humanoid chars, meaning: furs/anthros, humans, any other species that has human shape.

Tux, Drinks, Dance. The hell
General | Posted 18 years agoI came back from the big dancing of 16 year old girls that were about 19 and I had to wear a tux, and had to drink and I was able to disappear and avoid dancing.
There was some nice instrumental music, with some of the melodies I know and enjoy. There was some delicious food and was able to get a chocolate cake with bluebarries.

Massive Free Request (Dragon Ball Cosplay)

Lintu is too busy to do a ref sheet of Kala (Spacelion, just like my char Arik), and I want to do a group pic. So meanwhile I have to wait until she actually does something, but will take sometime. So in my endless desire to make a group pic I'm posting here, requesting people for their help since I want this pic to be big due the bunch of people.
Must remind you may pic a char that is already taken, since it's a cosplay, but you may pic the same char just different transformation such: Goku kid, Goku adult, SSJ Goku, SSJ2 Goku, SSJ3 Goku, SSJ3 Goku kid, SSJ4 Goku. It's a cosplay, so it should be enough people, but I'm currently looking for Fat Majin Boo since I got this one requested. xD And must make a point out of this too, this is a funny pic, even though there are chars that look serious they remain their chars. Might do a mix of personalities to make this pic fun. Anyway, you are all welcome to join.

Yeees. I think I will start taking commissions one of these days, even though I haven't really pick the right prices. I might start with something small like Lintu's:
Commission:
Lineart -> $15
Colored pic (no bg/simple bg - full body) -> $20
Colored pic (with bg - full body) -> $25
Extra character: $10
Might raise the price in the future so you might accept this deal before I actually think of raising the price. xD
