I'm very pleased to announce my first collaborative YCH offer in an absolute age and a half, this time being run in collaboration with the wonderfully talented creator of fatsos, Miku_Wiku ! The sequence itself showcases some awfully filling summertime snacking and swelling - but hey, when you're on vacation, who cares about putting on a few (hundred) pounds?
This YCH features a fully-shaded 3-part weight gain sequence (with backgrounds included) of any character of your choice, regardless of species or gender, all for $100.
Extra characters are also available for $25-$35, depending on complexity, and an NSFW version of the sequence can be created for $30!
While extra parts are not allowed, minor changes to the size of each panel are allowed - for example, we are more than happy to slim the first part down, make the second part fatter, or anything like that.

I'm going to have more posts and news available shortly once FA's back in order, but in the meantime...
I'm offering a steep sale on single comic pages! The normal price for a single comic page with background would be roughly $170-$220. But, for today only, you can purchase a single comic page for $100. The panel limit for this is flexible depending on what's needed, but I'd say any length of 5-12 panels would work. A limit of 2-4 characters, depending on complexity, is what I'm aiming for.
Any subject manner within the standard commission rules is welcome.

And to mark another first, I’m launching my first Comic YCH! 7 shots/panels in total for $100 - fully colored, shaded, the whole-shebang - it focuses on a certain pleasure of mine, one which I’ve hardly drawn, namely office gains! Letting Go Animated YCH - 5 Slots Left!
And, another big first, as advertised in the journal header, is my first animated YCH, and honestly, first fully finished animation, too! It’s a muscle-gut, flex kind of concept, and it comes with all the fixings - color, shading, the works. It was a fun, cute concept to work with, and was only possible because of the ever lovely Rynoka_Starvale for the idea/original commission, as well as jackalandgoat and Nickel-Cat_Engine for inspiring me with their own animations!
If you’re interested in a slot, they run at $200 a piece, and additional frames are negotiable upon request! The animation can be found at the following places, in varying levels of quality (gotta love how every site seems to compress files a little differently from eacother!)

How Things Have Been Going
So! As you all may have noticed, posting has been pretty sparse for the last little while. There’s a multitude of reasons for this, but chief amongst them has been a combined state of too much work, too little time, and an awful run of financial strain.
To put it simply, my much-cherished car went from being remarkably reliable to a huge money-pit in the blink of an eye. Some very hefty repair bills at the start of the year all-but knocked out the financial buffer I’d built for myself, and, when paired with the normal huge bills and expenses that seem to come at the start of every year, it was a real kick-in-the-teeth.
Then, in the past week and a half, it came to my attention that my tax burden was going to be a whole lot more than I was expecting, and, my car broke down again. To say this year’s been trying would be an extreme understatement!
To all my wonderful clients, thank you for your support as always - I’ve reached out to most of you with updates recently, but for those of you who have yet to receive anything, I will be either finishing your commissions or sending you updates very soon.
So! That marks the end of this journal. Hope all of you are doing well, and thanks again for everything!

For the new year, my prices have gone up slightly as well - not terribly by any means, but there has been a slight update. The new prices can be found here:

Depending on how things go, I’d like to roll out some new commissions types in the next month.

I’d like to take a stab at making my own reference sheets before making them professionally, but this is certainly something I plan to start offering before too long!
Traditional Commissions
I’ve actually done a couple of traditional commissions for my regular clients already - the only real thing holding me back from doing more of them is figuring out material pricing as well as dealing with shipping. Once I have both of those processes streamlined, I’m definitely going to be giving those a shot.
Hefttoons
Because I’ve gotten some demand for them from some regular clients, I think I’m going to take a shot at opening Heftoon commissions! In general, these will serve as a lower-cost option that’s a little more cartoony. They will be traditionally inked, in general, and heavily titled towards the comedic, comic-stripy end of things.
More YCHes
I’d definitely want to whip up some more YCHes in the near future to give more options to all you lovely ladies and (mostly) gents, as well as rerun some of my old YCHes.
All of these additional commission types are something that’s going to come towards the later half of the month, but I’m certainly eager to get the ball rolling on them!

My queue has become cleaned up enough that I feel comfortable reopening slots - all the previous jobs are beginning to move along in one way or another, and a few of the larger ones are fully finished now!

2-28-2024 - Commission Queue + Updates
General | Posted 2 years agoHello there everyone! It’s been a while, again - I apologize for the silence into the new year, but I hope to break the silence - for good now, ideally.
The busy nature of my business over the past couple of months has left me feeling a little overwhelmed, so it was harder to find time to post. But, I really feel like posting and keeping all you lovely fellows up to date on my art is part of what keeps me going.

11/13/2023 - News + Commissions Open + Thanksgiving Sale!
General | Posted 2 years agoHello there everyone! It’s been a little while since my last proper update, so apologies again for that. October was one heck of a crazy month for me with some general fantasy projects and comics I’ve been working on. I know what you’re thinking - Booknut doing art that wasn’t purely belly crazed? As impossible as it seems, it did happen, haha!
Although, seeing as these are projects that I had a hand in, there are still a few fun, round characters within. I plan to release more information on those projects sometime soon, but for now, onto the meat and potatoes of this journal…
A Return to Commissions
As a continuation of my plunge into full-time fat furry-dom, I’ll be reopening commissions fully! A post with my full, extended queue will be coming shortly. Many of the commissions that I’ve gotten this year have been very large, and that’s a big part of why things have taken a little longer than normal.
I wanted to once again offer a huge thank you to all of my commissioners, especially the ones who have been patiently waiting for there’s to be finished - but, to make things work out this month, I will have to reopen things. My commission terms will be undergoing some updates focusing on the size of commissions and how many of those I can take at a time.
Going forward, all commissions will be sorted into the following categories:
Whale-Sized (Huge) - Any commission over fifteen parts or comics pages.
Jumbo (Large) - Any commission that is six to fifteen parts, or six to fifteen comic pages.
Hefty (Medium) - Any commission that is three to five parts, or two to five comic pages.
Chubby (Small) - Any commission that is one to two parts, or a single-page comic.
Now, this new system will not change how pricing works - instead, this will change how slots work. I’ve learned that I can really only juggle so many large to huge, or, jumbo to whale-sized projects at once, and to keep things rolling (pun very much intended), while still allowing smaller commissions and projects to make it through, I’m going to limit the amount of larger commissions I take at a time.
So, for this next commission opening, which will be repeated in the repost of my queue, there will be…

The Thanksgiving holiday is a special time for all Americans and true fatties (but I repeat myself), and it’s a special time for me as well, as this is the holiday that I launched one of my first published, collaborative projects for - an illustrated weight gain story called Theo’s Tremendous Thanksgiving, written by the wonderful Jiskcar and illustrated by myself!
I look back on that story with a great deal of fondness, and every November is made a little brighter because of it.

General | Posted 2 years agoHello again everyone, it’s been a little while - longer than I would’ve liked, but, I am happy to be back. So… where’ve I been, you may ask? Well, I’ll try to keep it brief, but for starters…
Booknut - Now a Full-Time Furry Artist
It’s been a long and crazy road getting to this point, but I have finally reached the financial point where I’m comfortable taking the leap into true full-time work. It was difficult managing to shift my life around for this properly, but going forward, my art is my main business, with this account being one of the largest parts of that.
The past few months have been filled with delightful and often very large commissions (in more ways than one, haha~), as well as a lot of other fun art and small projects.
I am hoping to have a more regular stream of content posted here, and I have several big pieces that are ready to post! Speaking of which…
On Posting
I’ve tried a few different methods of posting and scheduling posts ahead, and my previous strategies have worked nowhere well as what I used to do, which was to simply post when I wanted to, without a worry of posting ahead.

An Ode to my Laptop
Recently, my laptop shorted itself completely, frying the motherboard and making it unusable. Now, while it is certainly unpleasant whenever a computer dies, there are a few saving graces with the way it went - firstly, I have a backup computer which, while old, is serving my purposes well. Secondly, nothing crucial was lost file wise, as I stored most art and important files elsewhere.
However, my previous scheduled posting has been affected severely by this - the system I was relying on, Postybirb+, had many scheduled posts and prepped descriptions sitting on it, and it looks like those may be lost. Some other files have been recovered from the spare drive, but I will be unable to use them until I find a new computer or other solution.
The big takeaway I’ve gotten from this though, seeing as my overplanning set me back a little in the posting department, is to calm down and simply post.
So, in terms of scheduled posts, the only thing I have planned right now is to post Heftoons weekdays, which will be starting back up today, ideally. Other than that, I’d like to simply post as much as I can, when I can.
An update on Commissions
I’ve had several large and engaging projects taking up a good bit of time lately, and I’m trying my best to get through and get them out, and I am very excited to share some of the fun, fatty concepts I’ve been given the chance to work on lately!
Commissions will be opening more regularly from now on, and some form of slot or YCH should always be open going forward.
I would also like to give a tremendous thank you to all the commissioners I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years, and give a special thank you to the ones who’ve worked with me these past few months. Your patience has been priceless, and between that and your patronage, I’ve finally been able to achieve the independent artist’s life I’ve wanted for so long.

Booknut - Now a Full-Time Furry Artist
It’s been a long and crazy road getting to this point, but I have finally reached the financial point where I’m comfortable taking the leap into true full-time work. It was difficult managing to shift my life around for this properly, but going forward, my art is my main business, with this account being one of the largest parts of that.
The past few months have been filled with delightful and often very large commissions (in more ways than one, haha~), as well as a lot of other fun art and small projects.
I am hoping to have a more regular stream of content posted here, and I have several big pieces that are ready to post! Speaking of which…
On Posting
I’ve tried a few different methods of posting and scheduling posts ahead, and my previous strategies have worked nowhere well as what I used to do, which was to simply post when I wanted to, without a worry of posting ahead.

Hello there everyone! So, I have a special announcement to make - for the whole month of August, I will be opening up unlimited slots for ALL small commissions!
What is a small commission?
A small commission is a commission of 1-3 parts, in my book at least. So, whether it’s shaded, colored, or just linework, I’ll be open to doing it.
The biggest reason I’m opening for this type (and this type alone) is because of the amount of large commissions I’ve taken on lately. I truly appreciate and love working on all the comics, short story projects, and longer sequences my lovely customers have commissioned me for, but, with bigger projects like that being so popular in my usual slots, it makes it a little harder for the smaller commissions to make it into my slots.
On top of that, I'm also offering the Ample August sale! This sale will apply a discount to any commissions focused on good ol' fashioned weight gain and fattening ideas. The brackets are:
Linework - $10 Off
Color - $15 Off
Shaded - $20 Off
This sale applies to just about all fat furry single images or sequences. However, it doesn't apply to certain other specialties, such as vore, inflation, or macro growth, since the sales' focus is mainly on stuffing and natural weight gain. General | Posted 2 years agoHello there everyone! I have returned from my vacation, which was the perfect bit of relaxation to recharge my batteries and refocus! In spite of my absence, the posts kept flowing, and there's a good reason for that...
Postybirb - A Resounding Success!
My post scheduler worked wonders over the past week, and I think I'll be using that going forward for almost all of my posts! Because of this, regular posting will now be a given going forward, so you can expect plenty more heftoons and other fun content in the future - So long as my computer stays on at the proper hours, and so long as I remember to schedule things for the right days, haha! PostyBirb will allow me to expand out to other social media sites should I wish it, which I may be interested in trying again. If anyone has any suggestions of sites I should check out, feel free to comment below!
Also, a big thank you to Jackalandgoat for keeping me updated on how Postybirb was working out, and fixing a small issue that popped up! (I was trying to avoid screens and internet use well on the trip, and I wouldn't have been able to if it weren't for her help!)
In Other News...
Coming up this week, you can expect a commission or two to be posted, a long-overdue sequence piece, and perhaps some other fun surprises...
My costs will be rising a bit next month, so I'm going to be expanding a few of the non-commission sources of income for this account. I've debated opening a Patreon or SubscribeStar in the past, but I'm a bit hesitant on that for right now, as I prefer to keep my regular posts free and easy-to-find, and if I'm going to paywall any content, I'd prefer it's behind a one-time payment. If anyone has any thoughts on that or would prefer a subscription-style service, feel free to let me know!
I've had a Teepublic for a while, as well as a Gumroad, but both have had only periodic updates - I'm looking to make both of those a little more consistent. For Gumroad, I'm thinking of collaborating with a few more artists or authors for dual projects, as well as making illustrated short stories of my own, along with a few art packs or short comics, perhaps! I might even take a shot at a weight gain drive, should there be any interest. Would any of you be interested in content like that? If so, I'd be happy to hear your thoughts below!
And, in terms of long-term projects, I may have some exciting new content coming down the pipe, namely a few comics, and some fanart featuring all sorts of fun characters... perhaps even a little bit of a certain Fox and Wolf from a long-running series of mine... Stay tuned for all that and more!

You heard it right ladies and (mostly) gentlemen, for the first time in this account's history, I'll be officially opening Sketch Commissions! I've done these for a handful of clients in the past, and since those went well, I'm running a little test to see how they do in general. These can be either traditionally or digitally drawn commissions, they go for $15 each (+$5 for any addons), and there are Unlimited slots until Tuesday night at 8 PM EST. So... updates! There's an awful lot I'd like to say in regards to this account and its future... But the best I can say now, is that I've got BIG plans for here, in more ways than one! I'm going to be rolling out more posts, opening commissions more often, trying my hand at art packs, maybe a WG drive or two, and seeing how that all goes.
The main reason for this refocus is that I've finally taken the leap and gone full-time with my art, at least for the summer. Now, this account isn't the only part of my new art career, but it is by far the biggest component of it. I love making fun, fatty things, and I'd like to share them with you all more. Also, for this week I'll be putting Postybirb to the true test with my post scheduling, as I'll be going on vacation this Wednesday, and won't be back until next week. For that time, I'll be a bit slower getting back to people, but the posts will keep coming, if all goes to plan! As for the art end, there'll be more info to come in the next couple of weeks, but for now, I'd say, stay tuned.
