So yes, in short, I just got the email from Edinburgh University rejecting me. To be honest, I'm not as upset about it all as I thought I would be.

Interview was simply shit, the course leaders doing afore mentioned interview were snappish and generally aggressive/rude, didn't bother to look through my portfolio and only talked to me for ten minutes (when the interviews were meant to last 20-30). So uh, yeah. Even my tutor back here in Hastings was appalled when I told him about it.

So I spent almost 200 pounds (which is what, around $400?) for a ten minute interview with a bunch of snappy people who didn't really seem to want to give me a chance. NICE.

Tomorrow morning I fly back to England and then Friday its a flight to Edinburgh and my interview for university D:

Terrified? Who me?

I guess I'll let you guys know how it all went when I get back Saturday/Sunday. *freaks out some more*

I've got an interview with my first choice university next month :D I'm bleeding ecstatic over this, as I was pretty damn sure I'd be rejected right out.

Now I just need to figure out how the hell I'm going to get my huge ass portfolio all the way to Scotland with me D:

1- Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. Up until Faith of the Fallen and then my heart lost interest ;3; I need to sit down and finish off the last lot now he's finished the series.
2- Alan Dean Fosters' Spellsinger series <3 Oh god. Actually, I'll recommend this series to anyone on this site. It's mostly out of print so annoyingly hard to find though. STILL it is available online and Mudge the Otter should be more then enough reason to HUNT IT DOWN PEOPLE.
3- Tom Stoppard's 'Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are dead'. Ok so technically is a play but omg most awesome thing ever. READ IT (or watch the movie, it's got Gary Oldman in it u.u).
4- Manuel Puig's 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' Both this and 'R&G are dead' were IB books actually, and I can not recommend them higher. Seriously. Go read this book. And then try and stop yourself from playing games of 'Questions' with everyone XD
5- Dan Abnett's 'Eisenhorn series'. Yes, Warhammer 40K novel. I'm a dork, sue me u.u Honestly though, this is a brilliant book whether your interested in the warhammer world or not. I haven't been able to put this down since I started reading it, and I actually keep going back and re-reading chapters so it can last longer D:

1- Little Shop of Horrors. <3 Oh god. LOVE THIS. Is cheese of the best kind.

It's been a while since I did these so I'm only taking 5 this go round.

The facts:

Prices are $10 for a digital piece (I work in open-canvas/photoshop) with one character and a basic background (by this I mean a block of colour or a simple pattern). It's an extra $5 per character and another $5 for a detailed background.

I'm willing to draw pretty much anything (smut included).

1. How do you generally design your characters?

- I've two different methods, for most of my major characters (the ones I lavish drawing and prose on) they tend to start out in one of my day dreams and I'll spend weeks/months (depending on my productivity at the time) working all the kinks out of their characters and designs before I attempt to draw/write them. This is complicated XD
The other method is mainly making it up as I go along, they tend to end up my more generic, less well thought out characters. It's slightly more fun though XD

2. How did you decide on your fursona/s species?

- I never really did, or well, I never really created a fursona. It's complicated. I've one character I draw all the time, called the Cursed Cat, literally a blue cat. Somewhere along the line with all the drawing her she ended up being the one I drew to represent me. In fact, her name comes from my own nickname (Cursed - and that another long story for another day). And yeah, so now everyone seems to follow the equation that Bora = The Cursed Cat. And hence any anthro drawings of Bora are usually feline and blue.

I can't say I mind this.

3. What are your 5 favorite species?

- 1. Cats 2. dragons 3. Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiish 4. BUGS - namely Woodlice & Butterfly's 5. Hamsters

4. Ok, ok, you can extend it to 10.

- 6. Rats 7. Moles 8. Foxes 9. Snakes 10. CONNORS (what D: Shut up Angel! He totally counts!)

5. Have you made characters out of all of these?

- God no! A large number of them yes, but I've been trying to cut down on my characters anyway. I find having too many leaves me open to favouritism and most of them get ignored and left to get dusty in the back of my character draw ;3; (and I always end up feeling guilty over this).

6. Most violent character:

- Tansear. Hands down. (I almost want to add Aikoh in here, but then, he fits more under most sick degenerate bastard of a character then violent. Aikoh's too cold planned to go for mere violence D: And wow, I really do hate the guy. I'd write him out of my brain completely, but he's essential to Tansear's back story.)

7. Happiest or Nicest character?:

- Oh wow thats a hard one, I want to say Dazriel or Ju Yon... but to be honest, I don't think angel's should count. It's sort of wired into them to act that way >: Probably, despite the always wanting into your pants thing, I'd have to say Koto. I mean, he tends to be a bit overpowering, will pester people until he gets his own way, and would as soon shag you as look at you. But he's kind despite all that, and at least it's honest kindness. And hey, he's totaly a glass is half full sort of guy :3

8. Your most personally significant character?:

- Toss up between Koto and Connor. Koto's very important to me, he's got me through some really tough times in my life and I love him to pieces for that. And that seems overly dramatic but there you go. Connor, is probably the closest you'll find to me character whise, he's made up of all the best bits of me, with all the things I wish I was added in and then a dash of werewolf to spice things up. I think having him as a doll helps me feel closer to him too. There something about being able to pick up your character for a cuddle when you're feeling down that does wonders.

9. Sluttiest character?:

- Lol. Koto.

10. ‘Unsluttiest’ character?

- Tansear, Hands down. The only one he'll even consider letting touch him is Koto, and even then that's only because he's sick of the muse's winging when he doesn't XD It's an odd sort of love they have.

11. ‘Stereotypic’ male? :

- Ffh, Behaviour wise, Firestorm. Looks wise, Tansear.
Fire is a total hetro male in mannerisms and even if he did fall head over heels for the dragon Sacha, he spends most of his time freaking out over having done so. He also things he's hot to trot XD Which well... yeah.
Tansear's pretty stereotypical in looks, all brown, but then he's meant to be. Tan doesn't like standing out, and he's happiest lurking in his own shadow.

12. ‘Stereotypic’ female? :

- Jarene u.u Only with added demoness.

13. Tomboy?:

- Wyer. Although she seems to be growing out of that these days...

14. Girlyboi?:

- Koto/ Ju Yon/ Max/ Nerrijh/ Kamerl Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd the list goes on.

15. Androgynous/genderless?:

- Ju Yon! I love the flexibility of having him flip from one stand to another. Ah angel characters <3 Gotta love 'em.

16. Fastest character?:

- Firestorm, when he's in his horse form. Being a shape shifter has it's advantages (although, if I think about it, Sacha and Wyer might be faster in the air in their dragon forms... but that's just getting complicated XD)

17. Most muscular? :

- Firestorm, Tansear and Sarenthel.

18. Thinnest character?:

- Er, Max probably, but that's only cause he's a freaky fae-thing. >: Apparently, they don't put on weight well or something XD

19. Chubbiest/ heaviest character?:

- Oreo :3 He's quite cute and pudgy (for his size that is) <3 It's probably sure to being named after a snack food or something XD

20. Deformed character?:

- I'm... not entirely sure I have any >: unless you count Sarenthel's hound head >:

21. Most fun to draw? :

- Pretty much all of them. It's sort of a necessity to get me to bother drawing them more then once. Wyer and Sacha are particularly fun, it's the HUGE ASS dragon feet :D

22. Any Marysues?:

- Hn, in technically the whole of the god-school arc. But then, I tend to thing that since they're ALL immortal beings with god-like powers, they sort of balance each other out. Koto's pretty marysue at times, but he has his many faults to make up for it ^^;

23. Draw pr0n?:

- Not enough of it if Angel's to be believed XD

24. Draw one gender more than another?

- Most of my crew are male u.u I except my drawbacks XD (Wyer's pretty much my ONLY female character I regularly draw...)

- Geometric shapes >: And fanart (of official series that it, I like drawing other peoples characters just fine).

- Kittys! And cute pretty boys, Angel <3 and silly doodles.

- Lots of the big cats and lots of wolves. Not necessarily a bad thing, though I tend to feel a little iffy over the seriously overdone ones.
