Just an update
Posted 14 years agoJust doing a little cleaning.
Been in a funk for a bit. Probably half going stircrazy, probably half lonliness (Not as in I need a mate. As in I need to be able to hang out with friends more often). Nothing too out of the ordinary, but the Stir Crazy is getting to be a problem.
However, I have a solution. Tomorrow I whore my body out for Science, and get $25. There is a bike in the bottom of the front porch that currently lacks a front tire 9Spokes an all). I will be looking into measuring up the rear tire, then going to a bike shop nearby where they told me they could sell me the front tire apparatus from a junker bike for about $10. That leaves me $15 in my wallet that I will be saving, and it allows me to have a bike so I can exercise more often AND get out of the house once in a while.
Also need to look into other ways of whoring out my body or stuff. Hmm... Sperm donations you get paid for, right? #doireallywantotdothat #imalmosttempted

Posted 14 years agoI'm thankful about the concern and positive response guys. Some through IMs, some through comments, some through Twitter. Really, I'm thankful. It means a lot that you guys care.
As for the situation at hand, recently got an email saying I qualify for more scholarship money, which might help. My mom is also going to try a different bank, and she managed to get hold of Peter (Her Boyfriend's) Social. I'm not questioning HOW she did it, but I know she has her persuasive womanly "Charms" (AKA Peter is whipped). She might also try contacting some of the other family members to see how things go.
I was also alerted by a friend from college an option I neglected to look at. To graduate at my college, all majors have to take part in a seminar, internship, Thesis, etc. Some require an Internship, but mine (Conservation Law Enforcement) does not. However, Internship is the easiest and most practical option. It still costs money to make it count for Credits, but less than spending another semester at the college would, and I can get some Financial aid for that. It's something I'm planning on looking into more, and even though I'm technically past deadline to declare one, seeing as this IS an emergency type situation, I think the college might make an exception.
Our options are out there. I will be forcing my mom to call the Financial aid tomorrow one way or the other, with me right there, and we're planning on discussing with them my options at the moment. Wish me luck guys.

Posted 14 years agoI hate to do this to my watchers, esspecially all those who recently watched me post the two furmeets I attended who probably thought I might have been really happy, if shy and quiet, or maybe funny, despite openly admitting that I was poor.
Well, I was happy. I've always kept an optimistic view on things, cloud has a silver lining and everything happens for a reason thing. Hell, one of the best sayings I've heard is that it's the tough parts of life that we come out of stronger in the end, And now everything has come crashing down on me suddenly with just one statement that my mother told me just an hour earlier.
So, many of you may have realized I've recently completed my second year of College. It's been great, and I've enjoyed it to no end. College has been amazingly fun, and I've made tons of friends being there. It's been a blast actually, especially with everything I've learned.
As many of you also know, I have been struggling with finding a summer job to help combat bill payment in my house. A few of you know this is because my own mom has been unemployed since Christmas of 2009, when she was suddenly laid off from her work after combating depression. She, like me, has been having major problems in the job hunt department, partly because she is completely stubborn and unwilling to take even part time jobs in clerk work or fast food places (Not that any of those places are hiring right now.)
Well, because of her being unemployed, and therefore unable to pay bills completely on time and such, her credit score has taken a major drop. I have non to speak of, since I own no credit cards. Well, she attempted to file for financial aid and scholarships...
She was denied...
Peter (My mother's boyfriend) refuses to sign anything for loans or financial aid...
I can't get any due to no credit...
All this surmounts to the fact that unless some great miracle or compromise happens, I won't be returning to college come this September...

Post Furmeet journal
Posted 14 years agoYeah, I'm posting one, because I did have a good time. Could have had a better time I imagine, but not because of anyone that went there, mind you. I just still need to break out of that shy shell.
So last minute Saturday I decided that yes, I was going to go to the Furmeet yesterday (Sunday), and proceeded to leave said last minute message on the LJ. I then hopped on the T with 15 unexpected minutes to spare in waiting for the Red Line at N. Quincy Station. Guarenteed had I left 5 minutes earlier I'd have made the previous Alewife train, but oh well. Eventually made it to Downtown Crossing and then hopped on the Orange line to Community College. I realize non Mass furs at this point are probably looking at me like "What is this I don't even", but deal with it :p
Anywho, got there with a MINUTE to spare, as in the moment I got there everyone pretty much started going on. Immediately saw and out of the crowd, as well as who sadly had to leave us before it began. Oh well, better luck next time dude.
Anywho, got seated. Ended up sitting across from
, her twin bro, and her boyfriend 
, though I had no clue who you three were until reading Kiniel's journal, so yeah. But I will remember Caribou and two N's, so hah! But yeah, going there I didn;t much recognize anyone actually, beyond Jess, Dale, 
and 
, who's hair I will forever be jealous of.

. Heard the name, but beyond that didn't get to talk. How sad. There were other furs I didn't get the name of, including a tall dude with long blonde hair and I... think

Anywho, after a really, REALLY good Chicken Panini (The Waitress was not kidding!), went with Dale and a few others to Friendly's across the parking lot and got myself a Fribble, because it was hot as Satan's balls. To those who were with me, Yes, I know. My own fault for wearing two layers, all black, and a laong sleeve shirt, but I dealt with it! I didn't complain until I got home and planted my head in a freezer for a few minutes. Regardless of tangent, had some Friendlies for a moment with Jess, Dale, Kiffa,
, 
, who I have to give a quick lynx brofist to *Brofist*, 
, and one other fur who's name I did not catch sadly, but I remember as needing to figure out how to get back onto 93. Was that maybe you, ? Not sure. I hate not getting the names of people. Heck, I know for a fact 
was there but I don't know if I'm putting the right name to face with him.
Anywho, ended up taking the train home, riding with Kavi, Nexus, and Pherric to at least Downtown Crossing and then Pherric and Nexus to N. Quincy where I got off, went home, and started coloring a much overdue gift pic, which I will finish coloring hopefully today. Not much else planned for much of the new week. Will be calling PetCo and Barnes & Nobles about the jobs I applied for probably tomorrow or Wednesday, and then on Sunday will be heading to the Tyngsboro meet. if I'm lucky, I'll also be going with some old high School friends to see Harry Potter Pt. 2 n theaters opening night, but that's iffy, seeing as tickets cost money and my friends seem to be abandoning me for the most part D: Oh and tickets might get sold out fucking FAST.

Just an update for ya'll
Posted 14 years agoSo just giving a small update for those who care. The two pics I uploaded last night about about 2 out of six or seven pictures I plan to upload. At present I am working on Inking and coloring a special one, and then I will probably ink the other three or four, but probably not color them. Trying to improve on my digital inking now that my Tablet is reinstalled and working again, and after having putzed around in SAI again. Three of them are standalone character pics. The special one is a picture for a friend (You know who you are), and then I have about two more that are just random things I'll be throwing into scraps most likely. Can't say when they'll be uploaded, but I'll get them uploaded when I finish them.
In non Art related news, I'll be gone most of today probably as I will be donating to the vampires known as the Red Cross, something I plan to do any chance I get. Appointment at Noon, leaving here in about 40 minutes as soon as a friend gets here and meets me.
Working things out, but there's a slim chance I will be attending a meet run by this weekend on the 10th. Even if I don't go, however, the next weekend will be filled with awesome as I'll be seeing Harry Potter Part 2 with some of my friends opening Night in Randolph, and then that weekend attend the meet being put on by that weekend on the 17th in Tyngsboro. This one I'm certain on going to, come Hell or High Water!
Nothing in the Job Department. Working on getting into a PetCo since Gamestop seems to have fallen through. I'm still majorly hating the corporate "Apply on our Corporate website!" type deals because it feels impersonal... but here's hoping. Since I lack a job still though it's a pretty good chance I won't be making it to FurFright. Sad Cougar is sad about that, but dealing.

Ponysona has finally been made and finallized. Don't have art of him outside of a saved pic in a pony Generator that I'm not keen on anyway, but Slipstream has been wandering about Bronyville, having returned from Massahoofetts. Looks like Rainbow Dash better watch out, Cause Slips may not be kicking up Sonic Rainbooms, but he is kicking up White Lightningbolts. As in contacts you can find me in SL as Rayne Modan. I'm not always a Pony, as my profile pic here suggests. Bronyville is just my main hangout when there isn't a contest going on at a club.

Not sure how much, because my mom refuses to let me look at the bills, but that doesn't matter, because she at least does tell me what we're behind on and by about how much.
But that's not the point of this journal. The bread and butter of this journal is that I've been figuring just how much money it'd cost for me to once again go to Furfright, and it's not happening. No Furfright for me this year due to lack of funds.
But I do need money, and not just for Furfright. I need money to more or less live until I'm back in college. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. in that I'm always open for commissions. Always will be. Cheap. $5 a aketch (Cleaned), $7 for Ink, $10 for flats, $12 for shading, $15 to include background. I'll take really whatever you want, with only minor exceptions in some of the extreme areas.
So yeah, No Furfright, and I've always have an always will be open for Commissions, should anyone want it.
As an added extra, there's a possibility my internet may cut out on me come the 28th due to an overdue bill. If you do want a comission or something, email me to be safe. aaron.m.cc[at]hotmail.com

Posted 14 years agoAnd not even that really. This current week is my last real week of classes, and even then you can tell the teachers have more or less given up and are rearing down. Have two official finals for the next week, not including the presentation I need to do for the Student Conference, And with any luck I'll be on the road home on May 5th, sometime around 3.
Got one major project, which is my Interpretive methods video project. I already hate my voice, but screw it, I'm monotonous and can't help it. Other than that, an essay due this Friday, A take-home final that's easy as pie due Wednesday, and a last Test tomorrow.
It's the wind down... and I've yet to hear from any place for possible Employment V_V

I have redesigns of Not only Justin, but Natalie and Steve "Aussie" Irvine too. Justin's redesign is... well, from scratch, Natalie's only a mild change in attitude and maybe hair, and Steve... *Sigh* Switch Croc Hunter Fro Dundee. Ugh, I hate myself for that.
I have more coming. And over the summer these will be uploaded. Along with other things. Probably compiled into one image too.

Furries? In My college? The blasphemy!
Posted 14 years agoSo it seems I have a 'Furdar' on top of my 'gaydar'. Last year and this year, I had been slowly getting strange sensations from certain people who just seemed a little quirky. Something about them tipped me off, and a friend of mine in college confirmed it: There are about 10 other furriers on my Campus (She, however, was not among them). Here's the scaling:
Funny thing? About Seven are in the RPG club. 3 others exist outside it, but 2 have huge give aways (One has a custom fox shirts she wears and fox ears hat to keep her head warm, another has a Wolf hat of similar make). Sad thing is that one of the ones in my RPG club is the stereotype for the most part, including being a little special in the head. Otherwise he's pretty cool.
